The library, organized by topic, it is a quick and relatively painless thing to sign out several volumes on fine dining. Though it's hardly four by this point, Jasmine is in and trying off her Pokemon with a small device that seems to blow hot air, and a towel in the main battle area.
"It's been a productive day. Hectic, but... productive. How did you make out?" She gave him a smile, having to speak quite loudly over the heat gun.

Downstairs, Patience is sitting up, and appears to be playing some kind of game with the red and black humanoid that has been so flighty down here in the past. Apparently it involves moving your hands in time with someone else's. And a lot of clapping. She hums a tune to herself in line with the rhythm they strike out.

"It's okay," Thel reassures Jasmine. "I lived in a cave most of my life. Patience in a lab. Just having something softer than the floor means a lot. As does having a safe place. You've already done so much for us."
He gives a smile at seeing her so... playful and active. "Hello, Patience," he says, calling down as he walks over. "I'm glad to see that you're up, and sorry I couldn't be here for you the whole time. How are you feeling?"

"I didn't know I could feel this good.". She sat back on her haunches. "The bandages are a little tight, and around the tech is a little raw, but the twinges stopped when I move, and I slept really well."
There is a bright eyed energy about her. Where normally she seemed fatigued or distant, emotion coming more easily to her voice. Gone was the glassy look that came with being in constant pain.

Pink spread into her cheeks and she tossed a pillow at him. "Am not! A little bug like me could never pass for strong!". She protested, getting flustered. "Bliss and Serenity maybe, I just put up with a lot of discomfort."
The Pokemon beside her considered Thel with its yellow eyes with their sharp focus, gave a half bow and rose to head off to the crags where it often hides.

He sees the pillow coming a second before it happens, but is so surprised at that it hits him in the face, which causes him to start laughing. "Thank you for keeping her company," he says to the Pokémon with her, as it retreats.
"I basically never heard you complain, ever, Patience. You've gone out of your way to help me, every time," he says, gently. "And, yes, all my friends are strong... but you have had to carry burdens beyond any of us. Both on your body, and in your mind. Strength comes from many places. And you are the strongest person that I've met."

"You stop that.". She smiles shyly and gets up, lifting the back of her shirt to show off the gauze secured unit, now nothing more than a hump of bandages. "Things wouldn't be better if you didn't keep trying to help everyone all the time... And... Thanks for that. You don't deserve the distrust I gave you at first."
