Unfortunately one of my players, Joltz, had to drop out of games because of Real World bits and pieces, which means I have a spot in my Domain Unite game. That said, the worldbuilding part of things aren't as big as they were the first time around, and so I'm just looking for someone to take on the role of Warforged Diplomat. I've gone through a rough plan of what's going to happen to rotate out Icarus, the current Warforged currently being controlled by me, and bring in the new Warforged. With that in mind, I'm going to put what -that- is under a spoiler so that ya'll can read that and create a character accordingly, but I'd rather my current players not take a look. The document that I've linked to will give you all the rough information that is currently available for Warforged, and which I'm adding to as the weeks go on.
Additionally, this won't be an instant thing, the application process will be a couple of weeks and then once the players actually make the events unfold, you'll begin to come in, so this could be in a few weeks. Just keep that in mind whilst you apply.
With that in mind, here's a copy and paste of most of the initial thread.
Every few centuries the various domains and kingdoms of Leshara perform a ceremony of sorts, a way to keep diplomacy and peace between each of the races. As an act of diplomacy, one person from each land is sent on a journey around Leshara to visit each of the eight racial capitals of the world and make themselves known, prove to each why their race is still key in this world, and obtain badges of honour to take back to their homelands.
You are one of these diplomats, ambassadors of sorts. Whether you're here because you're the up and coming smooth talker, or the fighter everyone has their eyes on, or the most caring of their Pokemon, you'll be turning up at Pinecliffe, a small city with a large history. There are eight ambassadors, but you will be part of a team of three to head out into the wilds, taking Pokemon under your wings and focusing on your goal, to do your race proud.
Pokebattles with Kings, parties with Dryads and their Chikoritas, Delving down a dungeon full of Giant Charizard worshipping Kobolds and their Sandile, and taking down invading forces. All this and more.
Character Creation:
Trainer Level = 5
Guidelines: No Blessing and the Damned, everything else is allowed. DPDoM is allowed, bar glitch, details in a tab below. Trainers can have up to two Elemental Connections, if this is taken later than character creation, we can work on RP with that. Playtest Package material is in play bar the change to Withdraw and Pokemon Capture for the moment.
You are a Warforged.
Starter Pokemon = 2 level 10 Pokemon
Guidelines: No Pseudo Legendaries, must evolve at least once, underdog capability. One free egg move on each.
Now, this is current to be in line with the current trainers. Once you actually come into play, we'll discuss higher levels, and an extra Pokemon or two.
Starting Gear = 5 Basic Balls, or your equivalent, 1 Potion equivalent, 4000 Gold.
Trainers may not spend more than 1000 gold on any single item, with the exception of Weapons, where Simple weapons can be bought.
Leshara is a large world and is full of life, Pokemon thrive and some regions have flourished. It hosts many types of lands, from deserts to wastelands, or flourishing forests and vast valleys. there are plenty of towns and villages and small cities around the world, but there are eight well known locations where each race can consider their capitol. There are still problems, there are lesser races trying to get the upper hand, or banditry, to sigifican figures who are trying gain power for whatever purposes they require. There are cults, there are churches. Legendary Pokemon are looked at with a sense of awe in some races eyes, and less so in others. These are not limited to the typical legendary pokemon, but spiritual ancestors and legends.
The method of capturing Pokemon isn't consistant across the world. There are apricorn balls that some races have shared the secret to making. There are gemstones mined and enchanted to capture the creatures, there are even totems made from the wood of certain trees that a Pokemon can be bound to. Many methods are out there.
What's this Sci-Fi material in my Fantasy game?
The application process starts now and will end the 7th of February.
If you have any questions, feel free. There is also the start of Domain Unite on this forum you can read through and get a feel of things.

The Arcanometer is part of Lotus City, and it's going to go haywire because of something going on, which the party will end up taking a gander at and attempting to fix. This haywireness is going to 'power down' some of the early Gen 2 Warforged, the ones created before they worked out better portable forms of arcane energy. You'd be preferably playing one of these later Gen2 Warforged and run into the party, hopefully help them out and replace the powered down Icarus.

An Engineer becomes a Golem Crafter, using Clay as a material instead of steel, or clockwork. This variation stays reletively the same but is reflavoured. Weaknesses would change based on these. Alternatively, it can be flavoured as a Summoner style class, creating beings from nothing in attempts to mirror Pokemon. In this case, Tech Ed is replaced by Occult Ed.
An Upgrader uses Runes or strange Rituals on their Pokemon to change them, giving them a glowing set of eyes, or another couple of pairs. Their legs and body sprouts attacking tentacles at times, or lights around it keep it healthy. Tech Ed for Runes, Occult Ed for Rituals, open to other ideas.
Jailbreakers are good and enhancing their apricorn balls, totems, gems, and have managed to work things out to their benefit. A case made from the same apricorn trees as their balls softens them so they bounce further, or a little igniter in an iron lockbox causes a Flash.
