Episode 6: How Long is Forever?

"I don't think it's a curable thing honestly, but it's charming in its own way. Having concern for other's well-being, alighting on topics in the gentlest way as though she were made of glass. You don't see that in my time, it's a sort of selflessness I can really admire. She managed to save my life once too, even though she won't accept credit for it where it's due." Tucking her legs under her, she let herself glide along, being weightlessly towed by Brooke. "We went all over Hoenn together, saw ruins and caves, a little of the volcano, tried all manner of new foods and just... lived. Before that, It was all books and study, the kind of stuff you'd expect. Rainbow just shows up one day and blows my mind with time travel -existing- and here we are!" She laughs, coasting herself out in front of Brooke by the arm.

"I could get used to being carried you know? Solenoid always hated having his glide interrupted, but I never tried pulling him."

"It's all magnets!" She announced perhaps a bit too enthused given the subject matters. "Well... if you want to meet some Pokemon that won't tear into you, I have something I could show you when we get where we're going! It's definitely Rainbow who's the fibber though, she met the Silent Watcher back when she was young and fighty and feisty. Very stabby too. Stabbed me, stabbed Rainbow, stabbed my Pokemon... If Rainbow hadn't time-cloned herself that would've been it. Apparently it was significant enough she believed us."

"I'd say, but in all seriousness, Rainbow. I had nothing left. All my Pokemon were fainted, I was bleeding, and nothing I was saying would reach her. Her Bonded species is a very unique Pokemon known as Shedinja, a Bug/Ghost type, that thanks to whatever force animates it cannot actually be killed by any means. I looked into it after that encounter, there was no stopping her. That was your doing, and you're my hero. I guess Brooke is now too for backing me up." She squeezed Rainbow's hand affectionately.

"Two friends is way better then one."

"I mean, Rainbow's the only hero here, I definitely never saved her life. Though the way she'll tell it, I fought the endless hordes of wild dewey eyed Caterpie and frolicking Eevee to keep her safe." She sighs and settles. "Yeah though, the no longer silent watcher laid right into him, cut him off when he started to threaten her and made it super clear he had no power over her under any circumstance, and then disappeared before he could retort. It was... something."

"She wasn't... the best adjusted in the past, three thousand years of losing everyone you care about and being unable to die definitely wears on someone. You can see it written all over her face." Bee explains to Brooke before lazily floating closer to Rainbow, just idly tugged along whichever way the Durant so desires. "A caterpie is a small green worm-like bug that can fit in the palm of your hand, they evolve into Metapod, a cocoon Pokemon, and then Butterfree, a butterfly. Eevee is a small four legged mammal with a fox like tail and features, as well as oversized ears. We didn't ever encounter either, no. They're some of the gentlest things I can think of."

"Bylii loves flowers, I could introduce you if you think you can handle a safe Pokemon, Brook, and you and Rainbow can lay on the grass, I might even join you~" Letting go of the Durant's hand, she floated lazily over the field, leaning in to sniff at the odd flower she was curious about, rolling over into her back and gliding effortlessly along when she had her fill of the activity.

"Alright Bylii, come on out." Fishing a ball from her pocket, she lets the Ribombee loose over the flowers, and circles her friend."It's almost like how we met, isn't it girl? Been awhile since I brought you someplace this nice."

Gently working a finger against the Ribombee's cheek, Beatrice floats over beside the girls, sinking into the grass with a somber look. "So... This is what Yellow meant. I hardly recognize her. I want some of her dream to be good though, so even if this is her limit to playing, I'll take it." Waving the Pokemon closer to Brooke, she offered the Durant opportunity to touch if she wanted.

"I wasn't joking about bugs earlier, my team is almost exclusively. I like the sense of community, rapid adaptation, and I think they're beautiful."

"A trainer can carry up to six, mine have been conditioned so that they aren't hurt by the shadow aether, and they won't go berserk. Bylii is typically very animated, loves flowers and cute things, particularly brightly colored dresses and me in them." She laughs softly, releasing a second, a purple and darker purple ogre scorpion. "This is Crassi, she is very driven, and wants the rest of the team to be as successful as her, she doesn't like being babied and is very independent."

"They are a Ribombee and a Drapion respectively." Bee continues her dissertation, next releasing Baied. "This ID Baied, he is very spoiled but I love him dearly. He is always hungry, and doesn't really like fighting. He's on the chubby side, but has never let me down yet. Baied is a Charjabug." Then came a small gray and white cloudy mass with two bright expressive eyes. "Cumulus I made myself, but he's a Castform, a Pokemon known to be able to control the weather. He is always full of energy, and everything has to be a game with him."

With the two babies out of the way, and the girls done, it was time for her first and last. Releasing the Armaldo, she stroked his feathers. "Limul was my first Pokemon. He took my entire journey with me... Loved tropically warm waters, digging in loose sand, and fighting. The last I only just caught recently, and was an experiment... I want to call him Myrnex, which is a name for a sort of ant, but I don't know that fits it. This is Genesect." The large metal insect appeared with the rest.
