"Well, a theater is a place where a few people perform to entertain others. Dance is an act of moving with rhythm, and there are a lot of different forms of dance." Em wiggled her toes and her face scrunched up a little as she struggled to stifle a giggle. "You're tickling me... a little slower, and more firmly. That's perfect." A relaxed sigh followed. "Humans have dances for competition, dances for courtship, dances in different speeds which are called tempo. Music and dance seem to be a widely regarded thing. Here, the Kimono girls practice what are called 'Geisha Dances', an old and traditional form of dance, which is meant to be graceful and very conservatively provocative. There is a lot of twirling, and small steps that keep the legs close together. Most of the emphasis comes in the position of the eyes, and the movement of the arms."
The Torracat side-eyes Muku, before moving over to grab the Avian by one of the feet and drags it roughly (and into an awkward position) atop its mother before settling over both in a content position.

"That's a lot of different things that dance seems to be used for, wow," Thel says, impressed. "And you're able to do that? That's a lot more impressive than anything I've gotten up to," he laughs. "Especially in front of an audience of people. I still often feel... rather awkward, in not fitting in with the humans. They seem to accept me, though, which is nice. It's a good feeling, fitting in. I feel like I'd just have trouble with remembering how many things it could be used for!" he says, giggling. "Humans use one thing for so many things."
He remembers back to what Whitney said. "Humans also use many different things for one thing. You mentioned dancing could be used for courtship. Whitney mentioned that things like writing words, and singing and other stuff was used for courtship. And that intimacy was different, and that humans don't like when you call it breeding. And... it's all so complicated." He shakes his head, sighing. "It seems like every time I learn one thing, there's five more that spring up from it that I need to try and keep straight. It's like a swarm of bees. Why do humans need to make things so difficult all the time?"

"Ok. I'm done here." Muku says, pulling her fingers through her comb and turning away from the scene. This wasn't true of course. She was still mad. All of her screaming bird instincts were telling her to finish the job, end the threat. But it really wasn't a threat. No, this was beneath her. Almost as an afterthought, she returns Talon to their Pokéball and looks to Terra for guidance.
"I'm... Not sure why we came up here again. I think I've got some of my energy out, but if you wanted to call it then I would kinda get that."

Well that went completely different than how Terra expected it. This showed on her face with the surprised and raised eyebrow at the events that spread out. "Not what I was expecting from that," she admits casually while standing up and walking away after one last glance towards the family of pokemon.
"We climbed up here for a race and to get some space from the town," Terra replied at the comment. A slight frustrated sigh leaving her as she lets a hand brush over one of the pokeballs. "Yeah, I could go back to let Queen get some healing... But I think she'll be okay as long as she stays in her ball," she added with a wince. It didn't feel like they've been out here too long yet.

“Yeah. I think I kinda forgot about Hornise not handling birds well.” Muku laments, looking askance and rubbing her arm. It wasn’t that Heracross were easy targets. If the wrassle bird had bounced into her first, it would have gotten cratered for it’s efforts. But that kind of trick can only be pulled once a fight. It was a calculated risk, but Muku was bad at math.
At least big cat went down easier.
She looks up to Terra and shakily nods. “We can head back. But, maybe we can go the long way. Get a good look around the area. Maybe find a cliff overlooking the town?”

At the comment about Hornise, she paused a moment before replying with "It happens. Nothing to linger too long on." Not the most reassuring words, but understanding.
"That sounds good to me," Terra replies with a smile. She couldn't argue with that suggestion. They would get back to town, but still have time to take in the wilderness.
"Let's go," she adds looking to Gunshow so that he'd know they were moving on from the area. "We want to see more on the way back," she added in case he knew of any good places.

"Didn't you used to eat bees?" Em teased. "No matter how many things you discover about humans, I think the most important thing is to be true to yourself. It's why I respect Muku as much as I do." Em parsed slowly as she dried her feet and moved the tub out from between the two of them. "She can be thoughtless, and aggressive, but there is never any duplicity. She presents herself as who she is, uncompromisingly so, and while she can learn and does change, she does that on her own terms." Scooting to sit against Thel, she smiled. "I know they'll be alright, and I am sure whatever you decide to write, dance, or say, will be wonderful. Here or at this School you are heading for."
Sliding a Pokeball from her sleeve, the girl cupped it in both hands. "I've been getting stronger, too. Happy evolved! I was really surprised. I hope it will give you some peace of mind."
Gunshow nods, stroking his powerful chin for a moment before waving the girls along and moving into the trees with a well oiled swagger, leaving the battlefield behind. The girls were quite some distance from the town already, having given chase to the Torracat for a ways, but he was there to protect them.
The forest gave way, rather briskly, to a clearing of rock shot through with rust reds and slate grays jutting from the rough landscape. The mound of stone and ores appeared to be home to a myriad of humanoid Pokemon, all engaging in some manner of physical training. Fat mountainous humanoids, small, wide-hipped humanoids, red ones, blue ones, and more. Atop the spire itself was a green and white figure with large blades jutting from its forearms. It sat in a meditative pose. "Machamp." Gunshow introduced the scene as though it were self explanatory.

"I did, yes, and that's why I say that," he replies, his face wrinkling in annoyance at the memory. "You might hunt down one bee, but there just kept coming more and more... even with fire, you couldn't get them all alone. Or even in a small group. And if you got one of the big ones after you... well, the little ones protected her, and she would pelt you with rocks. It hurt." He seems to realize the topic wandered a bit. "Ah, sorry. Got a little lost in my point there."
"And thank you," he says, at her compliments. "I'm sure that what you do will be just as wonderful. You've already done so much." He lays his head on her shoulder. "I'm glad to hear that you've gotten stronger, too. That does give me some ease. It feels sometimes like... living a life and training to fight are two separate things. But they don't have to be."
"I'd love to see the evolved Happy, too. I'm always amazed at how different a lot of Pokémon can look... Salazzles were really just larger Salandit."
With Em holding out a ball (he's impressed that she was able to keep it up her sleeve), he asks, "I don't know if you'd care to meet my newer friends, too. Some of them are a little... skittish at times, so I'm hoping that by introducing them to more people, that helps. At the very least, I should let Hope out. She's been very patient with me spending time with the others. If you don't mind?" He looks to Em for approval before letting the Ribombee out in her place. It's been since before she'd evolved that the two had met.

Once Gunshow had settled on a decision of which way to take them, Terra didn't waste much time in following after him. Curiosity leading her behind the pokemon.
As the trees parted and the more mountainous view, the girl stopped with a look of admiration on her face. Eyes slightly shimmering at the sight of the colors and ores about. She didn't know their specific names in the human world, but it looked like quite a feast to a Larvitar. After that initial focus eased, she took in the different types of fighting pokemon in the area. "Interesting." Her one word honest in her thought.

Muku tilts her head, nodding slowly. "Huh. Interesting. Yeah. That's the word."
This sight wasn't wholly unfamiliar. There were occasions out in the wild where Muku would see a lone pair of humanoid Fighting-Types destroying rocks or 'bullying' a rock with hands by using them as strange weight lifting thingamabob. What was odd, was to see so many in one place. It was like fight club, but less violent.
"Do you think these are all Chuck's Pokémon?" Muku asks. "I don't think this many wild Pokémon group like this very often. Especially with this much variety."

"By all means, Thel... any space that is mine, is yours too." Em gave him a shy kiss before letting Happy out of his ball. Where the small, chubby humanoid before had been about to the girl's chest, his evolved form towered over the both of them, easily head and shoulders above were they standing. Being cuddled up on the floor as they were made this effect even more profound. Happy blinked twice. "Happy you remember Thel?" "Haaaari." The Pokemon's imperious gaze turned on the boy and scrutinized him.
Gunshow shook his head at the suggestion these Pokemon were affiliated with Chuck. Among the assembled, the thing most out of place was a small quadrupedal dragon with a yellow heart shaped scale on its head.

Thel flushes at the kiss, his stomach fluttering, before he turns his attention to the released 'mon. "Very impressive..." he says, with admiration. "I don't think I've seen any that have been that large and imposing since... well, other than that rock nake, really, ever. It's a bit hard to judge the size of the scarier things on the mountain, though. But I think that you're in good hands here." He smiles at the Hariyama.
"I'll try and remember that. Males weren't exactly allowed to be anywhere besides the entrance except at the whims of females so..." he squirms awkwardly, "Old habits sort of die hard when it comes to private spaces. It might take a bit before it actually feels... right."
"Hope's grown, too, but... nowhere near as much." He releases the Ribombee, and smiles at her. Just like with Em, it's always a certain comfort having the bug around. In this case more of a sense that he knows he'll be protected. "Hope, this is happy. He was there at the same time that we met, even if he... looks a lot different." He feels a little awkward, since from the bug's gaze, he gets the feeling that the Ribombee is able to recognize the Hariyama. Even if he doesn't know about aura.
"And this is Serenity now," he releases the Ninetales. "You briefly met her before we parted before, before she evolved. She's a very good girl," he gives the fox pets, "and is the reason that I'm... here now, really. I would have been lost and unable to find Whitney without her." He rummages around in his bag, and pulls out the Ninetales' brush, holding it out to Em. "I don't know if you'd like to give her some brushes. I-if not, that's fine. She was very patient this morning in letting Bliss get brushes first, so she can have some more now if she wants. As a treat for putting up with the changes so well." That's maybe a little massaging the truth of what had happened in the morning, but... it was fine. Everyone can bond.

That could have made sense, Muku's suggestion about the Pokemon being Chuck's, especially since they all seemed to be of the fighting variety. Though this was an awful lot of them, could he really own this many?
The sight of Gunshow's head shaking had her seem confused. "Then what... Is this... some sort of common ground for training or fighting each other?" Terra asks.
A pause comes to her as she sees the four-legged pokemon. Wait. That was a dragon. Not a fighting type. What was it doing here? Red eyes settled on it with a firm and plainly evident gaze. Inquisitive in nature.

"I think that must be it." Muku replies with a nod. She cracks her knuckles, but thinks better of actually doing any training. Hornise would probably love to take part in all of this, but with her out of commission, it wouldn't feel right trying to challenge any of the assembled Pokémon to a fight.
"I think I've battled enough today. But if you see a Pokémon you like, you ought to challenge it. That's how I got Hornise to be my friend." Muku adds with a nod.

"Oh Humans aren't supposed to do that either, but I'm not human enough to care." Em giggled behind her hand, watching as Thel released several partners. "Goodness, there's so many of them now. Happy likes having the top of his head rubbed, especially along his brow. Don't rub his belly though, he's ticklish and he doesn't like it at all." The Hariyama broke eye contact with Thel when his trainer revealed his secrets, but remained stoic otherwise. Hope flits closer to the massive Pokemon, taking a wing over tour about him.
Em takes the offered brush and begins grooming Serenity, much to the Ninetail's delight. "She's so soft, even more so then when she was a Vulpix. You've helped raise a beautiful Pokemon Thel. Do you plan to go back to the league once you're done in Charm school?"
The little dragon perched on one of the smaller boulders, head up, shoulders back, chest out. It seemed quite proud of itself until it was accosted by a little blue dog-like humanoid. They exchanged cries several times, before the dragon hopped down and the pair moved up alongside the massive pile of stone and ore. As one, they vocalized three times. The Gallade stood and looked down at the pair. Three more vocalizations, then a palm strike from the Riolu and a headbutt from the dragon. Resounding cracks echoed through the clearing. The Gallade raised the arm closer to the dragon, and it smiled proudly. The Riolu offered a respectful and quite deep bow in kind, the pair returning to the small stone. The dragon atop, the Riolu on the ground beside it.

"Oh, okay," he laughs, "well, I'll keep that in mind. I'm glad that you're willing to share this with me, though. That's... that's something that I eventually want, I think. A place that I can feel is my own. I've never really felt welcomed in the same way. The den was warm and a comfort... but it was just the warmest harsh place in life..."
Thel leans up closer to her as she brushes the Ninetales. "I know, she's wonderful. So cuddly. I can't really take the credit for them, though. They've been the ones to help push me along. I have two more, but... they're probably best brought out separately. Bliss and Serenity need a little bit of work figuring out how to share brush time, so it's better that I give each of them attention separately. And Patience... well, she's still rather scared and skittish." His voice goes a bit more solemn. "They hurt her. They really did. I want to be strong enough to stop that from happening to anyone else. Because they're seeking to hurt us more..."
Steering away from the topic, he looks up at the Hariyama and giggles a little. "I don't know if I could even reach the top of his head. He makes me feel so tiny."
"And... I don't know about the League. I don't know. I've never really felt that strongly about fighting. Muku and Omega were the ones that did. I probably should, so I can try and make sure that I'm strong enough. And... it might take me to know where I should go. But we'll... we'll see after the school. That might change everything." He smiles, and squeezes her hand that isn't brushing. "I wish that we could somehow keep in contact even after I leave. There's nothing else that makes me happier than seeing you smile, and laugh, and just... enjoy things."

"Well... I have a phone here, if you had a phone too, you could call?" Em suggested, pausing to speak between strokes of the brush. She seems to pick up readily on the places where the fox enjoys being pampered the most. "It sounds like having a lot of Pokemon could be kind of frustrating. I don't imagine they would get along, and probably even fight in the wild. It's good that you're looking after the ones that you can." Em stopped her grooming, and looked up at Happy for a long, quiet moment.
"Maybe... I should have a few more too. I shouldn't be relying on other people to protect me all the time, or other Pokemon either I guess, but... I can't defend myself anymore. It was just... get startled... teleport. Fight over, nobody would find me after that. I'd be safe."

"A phone? What's that?" he asks, curiously. It could help them keep in touch? That's exciting! "And... yeah, I think that they definitely need to get used to each other and get some bonding in. I'm sure that none of it's easy. It's a change of life... so, I know that's hard. I... don't really know what going out to look for Pokémon would be, really."
"The closest was going out, and finding Hope and Happy and the rest. Then Serenity was in a spiderweb - though I have no doubt now that she could torch any bug trying to eat her now. And Bliss... well, the people in the Game Corner apparently have Pokémon there specifically for trainers... that's weird. And then Patience, well, she came into my life a bit awkwardly. We could try going out and looking for something for you, if you want. Whitney might be able to help give advice on that, come to think of it." He pauses, frowning. "...we didn't really arrange with how to meet up, did we? I guess… probably at the Center later." A bit of worry. "Oh... this happened last time, with Terra Muku. We didn't arrange a place to meet up, and then things happened. She... isn't a Pokémon, though, so, that should be fine. And she's a Gym Leader," he adds, helping to reassure himself.
With Em stopping the brushing, Thel gently takes the brush back and puts it in his pack, before giving Serenity some more pets. "Alright, girl. Sorry, but that's going to be it for now. I'll see you again in a little bit, probably for dinner." As he recalls the fox, he looks at Em. "Speaking of dinner, do you want to go out to the grocery store later, and you can help see what looks good, and I can try and make something? I've... been trying to learn to cook, and I want to repay you for, well, for helping to supply us from your job that first day. And don't you say I don't have to do this, or I shouldn't," he pre-empts, teasingly. "I thought you said we were equals. That means you have to let me give back to you, too."
"A-anyways," pushing against her likely protests still felt weird, so he changes the topic, releasing his Steenee. "this here's Bliss. She's a sweet little thing, who I'm still getting to know. Bliss, this is Em, and her Pokémon Happy. She's someone that I'm very close to."

Muku reaches out to nudge Terra encouragingly pointing out the lizard rock. "You should take that rock for yourself. Biggest perch means the biggest bird. I bet it wouldn't be too hard to punch harder than them."

The scene that unfolded between the two smaller pokemon was interesting to see. A short battle between them to settle who would be the owner of the top point of the rock. A slight smile forming at the result of the sparring.
"You think so?" Terra asks looking over to Muku from the nudge being given. A moment passed as she considered the idea before nodding. "Yeah. I think I'll give it a go." Her voice held a bit of excitement.
The dragon would see the human approach and show it a formed fist. "I want to challenge you to a spar," she states watching them with a steady gaze plus a grin on her face.
