Adri whipped out two pokeballs from her bag and unstrapped Illyana's pokeball from her bag strap. She deftly threw all three of them, one pokeball at the Pancham and the other at the Hawlucha preceded by Illyana's pokeball. Pokeball Acc Pancham

Adri's lead ball flies out and entraps the Pancham even as the other two balls fly past where it had been. As they strike their target it clicks closed Hasty Male Pancham, 108 exp, Mold Breaker Ability, Tackle, Leer, Arm Thrust, Work Up moves, 62% hp The balls both smack into Hawlucha, releasing Illyana where the Pancham had been and absorbing the Hawlucha for a second before it bursts out of the ball it had been trapped in. Zach follows suit, hurling a pokeball at the hawlucha! If he could catch this, the battle would be easier... Though he did want the bear... "Hey Adri, we should trade later... I kinda want that bear."

Zach pulls the great ball from his belt, locking eyes with the Hawlucha. It'd be a good addition to Danny's team, he thought. The little bird even REMINDED him of the rocker... So he'd try another go!

The ball lands hits off the birds shoulder while it is distracted by Fury's blow, and it disappears. A few seconds later the ball clicks closed and the Hawlucha is caught! Bashful Male Hawlucha, 120 exp, Unburden ability, Tackle, Hone Claws, Detect, Karate Chop, Wing Attack moves, 1 injury,45% HP For the first time, Zach's Pokédex alerts him that his team has grown too big and he needs to send one to the PC. Each trainer has 20 exp to distribute. |

Zach looks a bit conflicted, but sends Luca to the PC. It'd give him some time to decide how he was going to raise the little Ralts, as well as train the rest of his team for battle, notably Cass and Liz. The two of them seemed to be lagging behind...
For now, he went to pick up the Hawlucha's ball, as well as his pokeball. He'd probably give it to Danny... But in the meantime, he might as well train it up! Seemed like it would be a useful addition to his team, at least.

After picking up the Hawlucha's ball, Zach has to root around under a bush where his first ball rolled. As he retrieves it he notices that it is getting dark. There's still more of the tracks to follow though, and Petalite isn't visible from this spot.
