Mayu knows of Klefki mostly as a sort of exotic pest; she's never heard that they're especially effective in battle. On the other hand, it's a rare blend of types. Not the best for facing the Pewter Gym, admittedly, but perhaps she can find some use for it.
First things first, though. Time to teach it not to try to steal from her. Sigma is deployed to teach it a lesson.

Shame that Steel-Type wasn't very durable, but this next Pokemon looks like it could be tough. It's a Miltank. No mistaking it.

Ah, Miltank. An agricultural staple. Supposedly also reasonably fearsome in battle, as well. Mayu tells Alpha to try not to go overboard this time.

Luckily, Alpha ducks out of the way before the Miltank can stompify him. Then it's back to punching... which Mayu follows with a Pokeball, because her Riolu really isn't very good at holding back.

Remoraid, being a literal fish out of water, is not very able to evade the oncoming Snubbull. It panics a little, inadvertently giving them a chance to bite again. Mayu, on the other hand, powers through the bite and keeps scouring away.
