The first time Victoria attempts to move past the first Gym Trainer, she nearly goes tumbling into the "void" beyond the tiny path. With windmilling arms, she manages to fall backwards onto her butt and back onto the path. One of the nearby ghosts seems to think that was amusing, based on the giggling that can be heard. Thankfully, the path isn't actually difficult to find. Even in the dark. The next trainer is Medium Naeko, and this old lady...who is mysteriously identical to the previous one...has only two Pokemon.
She will begin with... a small Gourgeist. Have fun with that.

Nearly tumbling into the dark isn't GREAT but she manages to save it. It doesn't take her long to get to the next one. And she's glad she switched up her team a little bit, as a certain fire type she hasn't used much yet finally gets a chance to shine! Kino the Pansear takes the stage!
