Daidouji didn't see this thing attacking so fast. Chip was rocked by that hit, so Daidouji rose up, and tried to connect with a uppercut to the big things jaw.

Drew heaves a long-suffering sigh as Daidouji pitches a fit at her loss. He's obviously used to dealing with trainers who can't handle a loss well. Luck plays as much a factor, if not more so, than tactics.
"Hey. You. Dragon-girl." Drew calls out as he approaches. "Sorry, don't know your name. Had to call you something. Look, losing sucks. I get it. Nobody likes losing. You gotta calm down though or I'm tossing you in the pool." Drew's voice sounds deadpan, like he really doesn't want to be interacting with a rabid dragon chick (or anyone else for that matter). Yet it still has this hint of an edge to it. Like he's deadly serious about tossing her in the pool and has the power to back it up.
