When Daidouji enters the area, she snorts at the dust flying about. After walking a few feet into the desert, she tosses out Sookie. "Let's begin, Sookie. I don't know if you caught a whiff of that girl, but we are gonna find her, and crush her." "Bark, Bark!" "Let's go then, and see if you can pick up on her."Daidouji, and her Rockruff pick a direction to start walking. Sookie also tries to track Juri.

Sookie: Perception-4d6 Tracker:
Pokémon with the Tracker Capability have a strong sense of smell that they can use to follow other Pokémon or people. If the Pokémon has smelt whom they want to track in the past day, or one of their personal belongings, they can pursue that prey with a Perception check of 8 or better. To pick-up a random scent from nothing, a Perception check of 14 or better will allow the Pokémon to follow that scent. To pick-up a specific scent from nothing, a Perception check of 20 will allow the Pokémon to follow that scent. A Pokémon may only make these checks once per hour. 2d6·2d6·4d6

Being focused on trying to pick up Juri's faint scent from the desert sands, which constantly shift and change as they are blown about by the 'wind', Sookie very nearly misses alerting you to a small pit that would have sucked your foot down into the sand. Peering closely at the area in question, you can just barely make out the signs of something hiding at the bottom. Some sort of burrowing Ground-Type, perhaps.

Daidouji shakes her head, and motions to keep moving. "Hmm...Wont be able to track her then. Hope she finds us then. Keep your eyes sharp moving forward."

Sookie helps you to avoid a few other nasty pitfalls and traps. Almost a shame that nothing jumps out of them to attack you though. Be a nice warm-up. Ah well. Onward to glory! After walking for another small eternity, you spot a figure in your path. Aha! Looks like Juri's come to you! As you approach, she smirks at you.
"Heya! I'm your first major obstacle. I'm going to kick your ass back across this desert!" She produces a Poke Ball. "I can go up to 3 Pokemon. How many you want to fight?" Unlike you, Juri seems completely at home in this environment. The sand still pelts her like it does you, but like Sookie, she seems unaffected by it.

Daidouji nods to Sookie who in turn growls at Juri. "I'll be using...2 of mine." Daidouji steps forward, with her skirt blowing in the wind. Her massive tail strikes up some sand, and she take a stance with her teeth baring. "I'm the third!!"

The next day, Daidouji doesn't let up on their training. No need to rest when she had unfinished business. When they were ready, she stormed back into the Pewter gym, and threw open the door. "Juri!! Fight me!!!"

Daidouji gets bopped on the head when she bursts in shouting. Apparently, she startled some other Trainers who were talking with some guy that she's never seen before. When she looks to see who hit her (and why the heck it hurt so much for a light bop), she sees Leader Nekura standing there frowning slightly with a staff made of rock in her hands.
"Daidouji-san. Indoor voice, please." She chastises the dragon-girl. Feeling that Daidouji is thoroughly chastised, she summons Juri and has them duke it out in one of the private battlefields just out back. There is already someone there to referee, as Nekura has Gym Leader duties to tend to.
Once outside, Juri smirks and asks if Daidouji is ready for another beatdown.

Daidouji moves on from Pewter to Route 4, and begins carving her way through to the mountain.

Daidouji roars to scare off prissy old ladies, and enters the Pokemon center at the end of the route. She turns in for the day because she was about to begin another training session. If Viridian Forest molded them, Mt. Moon would harden her warriors.

Daidouji, after her pokemon's morning training, was finally set to step into the entrance to Mt. Moon. Much like the forest, she would surely spend a few days here. This was no problem of coarse, but this mountain probably contained limitless opportunities to train. The depths, and peak would offer great challenges, but that could be done later. Working towards that next badge was the goal for now. Perhaps another pokemon would round out her team.

Daidouji had captured another Dragon, but another rock type would make the battle against the water gym even more difficult. She needed something else to take the burden off her team. Perhaps there was something just back outside.

Upon reaching the entrance to Mt. Moon, Daidouji is assaulted by a floating blue box that asks if she would like to enter "Mt. Moon Dungeon". Upon mashing the "Yes" button, the box disappears and she steps into a much darker (as in, less light) version of Mt. Moon. This should be fun.

This day was hard. It had definitely tested Daidouji, and her pokemon. They were all pretty beat up, but they were able to push through to the end of the mountain.
(Mt. Moon Dungeon complete.)

The next day after crashing in the Cerulean pokemon center, Daidouji finishes up her morning training, and then proceeds to find something to do. Her team was quite beat up, and injured from their trek through Mt. Moon. So, might as well take it easy at least. Perhaps she could find someone to trade with...
Trade: Adept Intimidate:yIF35Qd54d6 Trading Skarmory for Togedemaru
With a cute, electric hedgehog rolling around her feet, Daidouji felt it was time to get back to work. Tackling the Cerulean gym now would be foolish now. The moutain still offered so much more to build her team up. So she set on heading back to route 4, and Mt. Moon to train.4d6

With a new shiny Kangaskhan now in her possession, it was time to really get to work. Daidouji marched her way back to the Mt. Moon exit, and re-entered. Over the next few days, it would be constant training until she felt the team was strong enough to face the next gym.
5 days later, Daidouji exited Mt. Moon for what would hopefully be the last time. After another long grind session, Daidouji felt it was time. Her pokemon came out much more stronger than before. Chip had grown the most in a literal sense. He was a bright, and hardy Ivysaur. Daidouji picked out select mons to take in, and she then made her way to the gym. She took a long breath, and entered through the electric door.

The building that houses the Cerulean Gym also houses the city's public pool. When Daidouji walks in, the employee behind the desk takes one look at her and sighs. "Lemme guess: Gym, right? You got a swimsuit? I'm just guessing here, but you look like one of those 'advanced challenge' folks. If so, you're gonna be getting in the water."

Daidouji could cross dangerous deserts all day, but getting into a swimsuit was asking for the impossible. She gritted her teeth, and a vein started popping in her forehead. She leaned forward at the receptionist. "W-What the hell do you mean getting in the water!? I'm not getting in a swimsuit!"

She raises her hands in placation. "Hey, don't shoot the messenger. I'm just telling ya how it is. You want to challenge the Gym Leader? You're gonna get wet." She explains. "If you want the Advanced Challenge, that full-contact stuff, then you'll be fighting it out in one of the pools. I'm just saying it'd probably be more comfortable for you if you had a swimsuit. Plus, that way you wouldn't have to wait for your regular clothes to dry off before leaving after the fight."

Daidouji yelled, and groaned into her hands. With obscenities, and threats to break stuff, Daidouji opened her eyes to see the gym's changing room. She stared at the racks of swimsuits in horror. This body change did something for her self-esteem, but this was something she couldn't do. She rubbed her temples, and paced up and down the hall to figure out what to do. She wasn't in her element at all..."This might be the worst day of my life..."
A one piece wouldn't accommodate her tail, and a two piece just wasn't happening. Instead of subjecting herself to torment, she tied up her skirt, and waited for a fight.

Daidouji is able to make her way through the changing rooms and on into the Gym area proper. Once there, a Gym Trainer approaches her. He introduces himself as Drew. He has this look on his face like he's just tired of the world's shit, but is putting up with it anyway. He leads Daidouji to a pool and says that she needs to defeat him before she can challenge the Leader. This fight will be a Double Battle. Two Pokemon total per side.
