After finishing the remains of her meal, she heads back over to check what jobs are posted in the Grass and Poison branches. It would be silly to decide just based on what happens to be on offer today... on the other hand, she does need to make a decision. And job postings are at least vaguely reflective of the Branch, right?

Now that Freya had some alone time, she spent it by going out searching for colorful shards, gathering delicious honey, and even dropping by the jobs board to see if she could help out somewhere.
One of the missions, 'Obtain a Pokemon Friend' seemed like fun. Perhaps there was a cute critter willing to come under her care.

With her new spooder friends in town, Ruby returns to her room. Seeing as her roommate (if she has one) is out, she decides to spend some time helping the two spooders practicing how to shoot web. First up is a hammock, then a makeshift tent that they can build in a jiffy out in the field, then finally she gets carried away and proceeds to build a web fort with the spooders until someone comes to find her.

Ruby eventually decides to leave Tox and Spark to their webbing (making sure to leave Torch with them to make sure the two didn't fight) and decides to find one of her companions to bring back to show her fort. After looking around a bit, she finds Freya, wherever Freya maybe. But in her haste, she forgot to wipe off the white gunk that Tox shot all over her earlier.

Freya has her new Gothita in her arms as she walks through the halls. She sees Ruby approaching, she waves to the girl, but freezes up when she sees Ruby covered in white gunk. ".....Kyaaa!" She shields her eyes, but then goes to cover her Gothita's eyes. "M-M-Ms. E-Edelsten! How can you walk about so u-u-unseemly!?"

"Huh?" Ruby says, confused. After looking herself over, she realizes what the problem is. "Oh! Looks like I forgot to clean up after he blew his load all over me. Sorry about that."

Freya doubles over, and starts dry heaving. Gothita jumps to the floor, and looks concerned for her new master. "R-Ruby...*gag*...Y-you...Oh dear lo-! *gag*...." She holds onto the wall to keep herself up as she dry heaves.

"Freya?! Are you okay!? A-Are you allergic to Spinarak silk?! Hold on! I'll go clean up and then get you some help!" Ruby says, running around the corner to clean the silk off of herself.

"S-S-silk...*gulp....*" Freya slides down the wall, and rests on the ground. Gothita tries fanning her with her tiny arms. Freya seems some of the stuff on the ground, and picks some of it up. "...O-Oh...Silk...Thy protector has shielded me again from...*burp* Uugghh...."

Ruby finishes cleaning off the silk from her body and runs back over to Freya. "Okay! Let's get you to the Healers!" She says, picking Freya up in a princess carry and running off the the Healers.

Freya has no energy to fight off being carried, and after some rest, she isn't as woozy. She exits the infirmary, and still with some blush on her cheeks, she puts her head dress back on. "Honestly, Ms Edelsten. You looked like....Oh never mind...So, why was it you were covered in silk string?"

"Well, I was out in the woods looking for a Joltik and found a Spinarak, but I decided to come back for it after I finished searching so I left it alone...but when I actually found the Joltik, the Spinarak got jealous and sprayed me with silk. They're currently in my room, making a web fort! I'd show you, but with your allergies it doesn't seem like a good idea..."

Freya sighs, and rubs her forehead after she realizes the big misunderstanding. She then waves off Ruby's mention of allergies. "No, no. I'm not allergic. I just that...Ugh. Please, let us move on from that...I would...like to see your room? I have nothing else that requires intimidate attention." While walking to Ruby's room, Freya speaks up about her newest friend, her Gothita. "Speaking of looking for pokemon, this here is my newest partner, Remiel. She is quite adorable, and I found her out for a stroll in the city. We became fast friends. What made you go looking for bugs?"

"Well I went to the Bug Branch with Emil yesterday and saw a Galvantula there, so I really wanted a Joltik because they're cute and fuzzy." Ruby says, sliding the door to her room open. Taking up most of the floor is a cluster of webs in the shape of a large tent.

"Oh. I see......I see..." That was a lot of webbing. Freya wasn't sure how Ruby could live like this, but she didn't bring it up. Remiel decided to get into her apricorn ball as she didn't seem to like hanging around bugs. "My my...They've really...made it their own haven't they?"

"Oh my. Already? I just have my three, but it should be fine. I'll be taking off now, and I'll see you tomorrow. May Xerneas watch over you." Freya waves, and starts her way back to her room. She needed to get rid of all of these stray silk fibers sticking to her clothes.

The next morning Emil is at breakfast early. He's determined that if none of his friends need help today he has a personal goal, but it's going to involve a lot of walking, so it's better to be ready early if he has the opportunity. He wants to find more crablike Pokémon, but the best place to do that is at the beach, and he only knows of two beaches - one up by Cerulean Village, and one down to the south on the bay across the plains, and to be honest he's only academically aware of the latter, he doesn't know exactly how far it is.
So he's sitting cross-legged in his chair, munching on fruit. He needs to stock up on energy for today. He chuckles when he catches himself thinking that. It's funny how much influence Stephanie's had on him already and he's only known her a couple of days.
