"You mean jumping into the water, or the, um, flirting?" Sapphire asks, slightly pink with secondhand embarrassment. (Her swimsuit is considerably more conservative.) "The former yes, if there's water around it's pretty hard to keep her out of it. The latter, ah, sometimes? She's not usually so... blatant about it. I think it's usually unintentional, this is a little weird... um, I don't mean, that's not to say that you're not... flirt-worthy?" She flushes a little more. "Uh, you know what I mean."
Oh gods, kill her now. She busies herself looking for Pokemon along the shoreline. It's not a very good place to look for Grass Pokemon, but you never know.

"Sis! Emi!" Ruby shouts, running up to them. "Can I borrow two Apricorns? I'm out and I found this Pokemon that I really wanna try and befriend! Pweeeasseee?" She begged.

Well. Seeing as she's already wet, Sapphire decides she may as well take a dip in the water. Maybe she'll have better luck finding Pokemon in the shallows than on the banks.

Emil kind of wants to go hunting for more Pokémon, but there's one big problem - he's out of apricorn balls. So he'll just wander back to the general area where they've left whatever clothes they dropped in order to explore the shoreline, and take a little time getting to know the skittish little armored water bug he's befriended.
He's leaning against a tree near the spot now, so that he can rest standing up and his shorts can dry out. He's let the Wimpod crawl up on his shoulder as he pages through the Poké Tome. "There you are. Wimpod... huh. Says here you'll eat just about anything, no matter how rotten. I don't plan on feeding you rotten stuff, though. I think we can find you somethin' a little more nutritious."
Emil tilts his head a little to look at the Wimpod out of the corner of his eye. "I think I like Monkshood for a name for you. 'Beware.' You're a wary little guy, sure. Not a bad thing, you know when you're getting in over your head. Maybe you could help keep some other people grounded... once you're used to 'em." He shuts the tome slowly and reaches up to stroke the newly-dubbed Monkshood's shell. He's hoping Ruby won't pop up too suddenly and scare the poor bug.

Speaking of Ruby popping up suddenly, Ruby falls out of the tree and on to Emil's lap. "Oh! There you are! I've been looking all over for you Emi!"

"Oof!" Monkshood pretty much expressed Emil's feelings on suddenly having Ruby land in his lap. Unfortunately for Emil, he can't disappear into a ball.
He waves somewhat forlornly at Sapphire from somewhere underneath Ruby. "U-uh, hi girls. I'd introduce you to my new teammate but I think he got startled. He's, uh, kinda skittish."
Emil attempts to squirm his way out from under Ruby. "Well, you've pinned me down now. Why were you lookin' for me?"

"Ruby, don't manhandle people," Sapphire chides, in the long-suffering voice of one who expects her words to be forgotten in thirty seconds. "But yes, we were going to have lunch. I didn't think to bring a picnic, so it's back to town... unless we want to try foraging, I guess?"

"I mean, I could, but town's easier." Emil doesn't usually have to find food for three people anyway... especially not when one of them's Ruby. He turns pink as Ruby squeezes him and tries to extricate himself from her grip. "Ruby, can you let go? Please? I'm too tall for you to lift up, so I'm not goin' anywhere 'till you let go."

"What the heck are you talking about? I can totally pick you up! See, watch!" Ruby says, before picking Emil up in a princess carry. "See? Now back to town we go!" She shouts as she takes off running, still carrying Emil.

"Gah!" Clearly that was a poor choice of words. Honestly, it wasn't Ruby's strength Emil was questioning to start with, just her height, but apparently she's found a way to deal with that.
Never mind that he's still being hauled around by Ruby in a bikini, so he's blushing and trying not to look down at her as she takes off running. "Are you at least going to get your - aah!" Apparently the answer is no, whatever it was he'd been planning on referring to that she's left behind.

Sapphire is a little slower to arrive - she hurries, but she's not sprinting and in any case she's not as fast as her sister. Not to mention that she had to delay to retrieve Ruby's forgotten jacket.

Emil is not quite clinging to Ruby by the time they stop - leaving questions of dignity aside, he wound up in a position where he can't quite get his arms up to her neck - but he's definitely looking rather anxious. "Uh, Ruby, you can put me down now. Can we not do that again, please?"
Making Ruby put him down is also an opportunity to stall for time, because frankly Emil has no idea where to eat. He's hoping by the time he's on the ground Ruby will have made her own decision, or Sapphire will have arrived and can help. When Sapphire does make it back to town at last Emil waves at her, looking a bit relieved. "Over here, Miz Sapphire!"

Sapphire trudges over to them with a resigned look on her face. Her sister is not in a listening mood today, it seems, so she goes straight for the emotional manipulation. "Ruby, please don't run off without me again. I know it's not very dangerous here, but you know I don't like to be alone in the wilds."

Ruby was so shocked by this that she accidentally dropped Emil. After a minute, Ruby glomps Sapphire, crying. "I'm so sorry, Lil' Sis! I never meant to leave you alone like that! Please forgive me!" She cries, hugging Sapphire tightly.
