Stephanie is there, as per usual, her nose in her notes while idly eating a biscuit and enjoying some tea. A particularly calm Waking is next to her, and she's talking to her.
"Now lets see. If anything I found last night is accurate, then we need to find you a tome for Dream Eater and then a tutor to teach you Nightmare and then you'll be ready to try my 'real' cooking. Maybe showing what you did yesterday to Freya or Ruby would be the way to go..."
She turns to Destiny, floating aside her.
"And you, we've let this go too long but we need to train you to the point you are creating dream smoke on the regular. Even a little every day is at least reliable, compared to the rare blue moon we get it now."

Freya continued to give out her grandiose sermons, and her pokemon did their best to help along. Her attention did get robbed by the doppelganger hanging out not to far from her. She balked when she saw it, and then remembered Emil had his ditto. She hopped down from her soapbox, and worriedly trotted over to the Ditto. "Oooh! Could you n-! Pleas-! I'm working, and the people will-...!" She waved her arms about as she pleaded with her beady eyed self.

Naturally, the cheeky ditto just mimics her gestures again, making it seem like OG Freya and Freya v2 are having an argument. Funnily enough, this is actually drawing more attention than her "proper" sermons.

Including from Sapphire, who normally keeps her distance and avoids eye contact coincidentally happens to be very busy elsewhere during Freya's morning sermons. "Goodness, that's strange," she remarks. "Maybe some food will distract it?"

Freya bites her bottom lip in cute frustration, and tries to wrestle her clone to hide it from the people. "You mischievous little-! You're distracting me from-!" Surprisingly the clone is quite slippery in her grasp, and Freya's pokemon are now just kind of watching the whole fiasco too. "Nooohoohoooo! Please go away! I need to spread the good word!"

Oh dear, now it only wants to continue the 'game' more. Ditto!Freya has somehow managed to (mostly) mimic her facial features and now looks only slightly off. To the casual observer, they're nigh identical. It continues to silently mimic her actions, even going so far as to pantomime that she is the fake and it is the real deal. Thankfully, most people don't seem to buy that, but based on their expressions, they find this quite entertaining.
"Hey, when'd the weird religious chick start practicing a stage show?" Someone can be heard stage-whispering to another person nearby.

Stephanie can't 'help' but insert herself in the conversation. But mostly as a distraction for her new Zorua, Ambrosia, to find a quiet area to make a 'Freya' illusion as per Stephanie's instructions. Time to make the current situation worse and then 'solve' it and hopefully that opens the door for Freya to allow Stephanie to expiriment on her psycho-analyze her. She strolls up with Waking on one side and Destiny on the other.
"Well, well. See Freya, the ditto already likes you! Perfect for breeding."
That's when Ambrosia (now an illusionary Freya), waltzes into the area and seems to accuse both of the Freya's of being the fakes!

While wrestling the Ditto!Freya, she looks up at Stephanie walking up with....ANOTHER ONE!?!?! Freya screams as she rushes to tackle the other offender. This was turning into a triple threat match! She grabbed, and pulled at the Illusion!Freya's hair. "Noooo! Why do you torment me sooooo!!! " |

Of course, Illusion!Freya's hair is illusionary. Instead of pulling said hair, OG!Freya goes tumbling through nothing but air and lands unceremoniously on the floor.

It would be very hard for Emil to actually not be aware of the chaos going on, as close to it as he is, but when a third Freya joins in and Freya starts looking genuinely distressed, Emil plucks up the courage to try and at least deescalate a little.
"Lime, enough!" he snaps, jerking up to his feet. Important thing is not to sound uncertain. He wants to be nice to his Pokémon, but they still have to know who's boss. "Stop that and get over here!"

And... time to move. Emil's got the ditto under control, and Stephanie recalls Ambrosia to prevent her pokemon from being crushed under Freya. Stephanie smirks as she moves to Freya's side to help her up, but moves close for a whisper.
"Freya, the room's eyes are on you. Get up, act like this was all planned, and you have the room's attention for your words. Say something simple, to the point, maybe light-hearted; and it may have a bigger effect than all of your morning 'sermons' combined."

Freya gets to her feet, and wipes some dust off. She has to hide her teary eyes of embarrassment from the crowd. She quickly fixes her hat, and bows to the crowd. "I uhhh-.....Thank you all for coming out! This morning's routine is brought to you by the Church of Xerneas! I'm Sister Freya........Thank you!" She runs off back to the guild in a panic with her pokemon chasing after her.

She kicks her feat up and goes back to her notes as if nothing happened at all.

Oh dear. This isn't quite so funny anymore. Sapphire isn't sure what Stephanie said, but it doesn't seem to have helped. And... well, she has got a spare tray of food already, for when her sister finally shows up. With a sigh, she follows after Freya and her retinue, moving just quickly enough so as not to lose sight of the Popplio trailing behind.
When she gets there, she knocks gently on the door. "Sister Freya? Are you in there?"

The door creaks open, and the sullen, sad eyes of Freya peer out from inside the room. "Oh...Miss Edelsteen. Greetings...*sigh* Is there something I can help you with?" She doesn't sound too happy, but still willing to talk.

Freya blinked, opened her door, took the tray, and set it on a nearby desk. "Oh. You are correct. I did forget my breakfast. I'm not in a fasting period yet, so I should be eating when I can." She stops when Sapphire brings up what just happened. She frowns, and turns to Sapphire with her hands on her hips. "I'd very much like to let you all know, I take this very seriously!", she says curtly. "This isn't some game. This is serious worship, and I don't take kindly to my faith being taunted!" She sighs, and looks away. "Doesn't matter what I say, when the offenders aren't here...hmph." She folds her arms, and sighs again.

"I know you take this seriously," Sapphire says, with perfect honesty. Of all the criticisms one could level at Freya, 'doesn't take her religion seriously enough' is probably the least likely. "I don't think anyone meant to make fun of your faith. Emil's Ditto doesn't know any better, and the others..." She pauses, shakes her head. "I shouldn't make excuses for them. But I don't think anyone was trying to be cruel. They were just thoughtless."
