Stephanie puts her notes back down. She did note that Ruby's hair changed a slightly lighter grey-scale. Unfotunately, it seems Stephanie won't be able to tell 'which' Ruby she's dealing with on a given note.
"Well I'm hoping Ruby won't be abusing her 'hair powers' to trick me, as I can't see her colors."
She looks at her list of pokemon she's searching for, and then looks back.
"But exploring around seems like an excellent idea. I've been doing it myself these last couple of days, and have failed to find any of my 'main' targets. Chef Special is a Smeargle, who has long term potential; and then-"
Stephanie's Mimikyu pops up over the table, her little beady eyes blinking.
"And then Waking here has the potential to be able to taste dreams, but from what I know it will be a lot of time spent with tutors and tomes. Which that's a lot of crowns I'll need. But... there's one normal type I'm really looking for. More eyes in the surrounding area at the very least means I'll have a wider selection than if I went alone. So count me in."

"Oh? What Pokemon are you looking for?" Sapphire asks. She notes the comment about not being able to tell Ruby's hair color, but doesn't think it polite to ask right now.

"I'm looking for anything that responds well during sleep. Certain pokemon have the uncanny ability to fight in some capacity while asleep, although not at full efficiency. Snorlax, for example. But there's one single marsupial who is rumored to be able to act in full automony while asleep, and I MUST have that one. Other than that, anything that can learn how to dream eat but seeing as I have two pokemon who can now, it's not high on my list anymore."

"So it's a sleepwalkin' Pokémon? That sounds a little peculiar, gonna be honest." Emil bends down to examine Waking upon realizing those big eyes on the 'head' are eyespots. "Hey there, little one. That's a nice outfit, isn't it? I should introduce you to Acacia, two of you'd get on pretty well I think."
He straightens up again with a sigh. "So, d'you know whereabouts your, uh, marsupial likes to hang out, Miz Myler?"

"Kyu kyu kyu!" The odd little Pokemon named 'Waking' hisses. Suddenly, it seems to spot something. It freezes for a moment, then lets loose this horrendous screech before leaping several feet into the air and across the room towards some unsuspecting person's Pikachu.

Stephanie double-checks her notes before pulling out the tome and pulling the info for Komala up. Waking's 'head' bobs back and forth to Emil while Stephanie continues.
"Despite it's ability, it 'is' only a normal type, and one of it's habitats is just regular forests, which we have nearby in abundance. It is, supposedly, usually in trees. But only hunting the creature will be able to tell for certain."
Upon hearing a screech from Waking as she goes and bounds off, Stephanie doesn't break eye contact with Emil as she breaks Waking's ball out and returns her before setting the ball down on the table like nothing happened.

Sapphire studies the picture carefully. "All right. It looks fairly distinctive, especially if it's going to be moving around aslee - ahh!" The Mimikyu's shriek startles her badly, but before she can do anything more than clutch at Ruby's arm it's over. "What was that!?"

Emil, meanwhile, fell backwards over his seat when Waking leapt. So now he's on the floor. "Gah! What the hell!"
He shakes his head. He can understand Pokémon being Pokémon, but that doesn't keep him from being startled. "What, attacking somebody's... I think that was a Pikachu she was aiming at. That's normal for Mimikyu? Do they do that to other Pokémon, too?"

Stephanie rolls her eyes.
"I swear, a perfectly innocent pokemon shrieks a battle cry of anger, and EVERYONE gets uppity. We were discussing searching around, remember?"
She snaps a few times, trying to get everyone's attention again.
"Where exactly was the search going to take, hmmm?"
She looks to Freya and Ruby, as they were the originators of the idea.

"Stephy has a point you guys, it wasn't all that big a deal. Plus, if that's enough to freak you out, I can't imagine you getting very far as a Pokemon Trainer." Ruby says, shaking her head in disappointment. "Anyways, if Frey-chan doesn't have an idea, how about we go around to our different Branches and check our job boards for something to do together?"

Stephanie has to do a mental pause seeing that RUBY is the sensible one. But she manages to get past it.
"Yes, excellent point Ruby. But I can tell you Ghost Branches job board is unfortunately empty save for getting a ghost type, something I've already gotten. So that just leaves all of you."

"Grass Branch just has a few basic missions. Running errands around town, looking for someone's lost Lilipup, that sort of thing."

Freya wonders what mission would be good for all of the group to take on, but loses her train of thought when Stephanie's pokemon attacks. The situation is very quickly diffused, and Freya takes a breath to calm herself. "Poor creature. Consumed by rage, and sorrow to strike out like that. May Xerneas temper its' anger." Freya gets up from the table. "I shall go check the psychic, and general job boards. I shall see if there is something to benefit us all." Freya gives a small wave, and heads off to said boards.

Instead of a job board, the Psychic Branch instead has a 'research projects' board. Seems that some people within the branch (and some without) wish for assistance in gathering data on various subjects. Most of it sounds dreadfully boring, unfortunately. The General Job Board, on the other hand, while also lacking in 'interesting' jobs at this time, seems to have a plethora of minor tasks one could complete. Most of these are F and D-Rank 'chore' jobs.
