Greetings and/or Salutations, my name is...
Well...
I've cycled through a number of usernames in the past (most saliently for RPing I'm still Hailfire on GitP, even if I haven't touched it in years), but I've mostly settled on using variants of Flintlock.
I've been an avid fan of Pokémon since Generation 1 and my first non-video game roleplaying experience involved messing around with friends on the playground with a loose imitation of the games. Since then, I've dabbled frequently (though rarely for any solid amount of time) with PBP freeform roleplaying over the last decade or so, moving from Keenspot to MSPA to a variety of stand alone forums (with even one brief instance of PTU PBP).
With the one proper Tabletop I'm a part of wrapping up shortly, the GM mentioned wanting to run PTU for his next campaign. The ensuing process of reacquainting myself with the ruleset (and spit balling the Pokémon I want on my team) has reignited my interest in the system. I've been hanging around the discord lately, and I've even been spurred to run my own small campaign with a couple of friends in my timezone. That said, like most, I'm much more at home as a player rather than a GM. Unfortunately, as I work more or less full time and live on the opposite side of the globe to most people interested in PTU, participating in a standard campaign, even on Roll20, isn't exactly feasible. Thus, I've decided to try my luck here and see if I might find myself a game to participate in.
Though I have been preparing a couple of characters (potentially for Arena, if anyone might be interested in that), I would rather create new characters for any sessions I join.
