Alex is wandering around the area right outside of the Guild, waiting to see if his friends will come out shortly. While doing so, he spots movement in some bushes.

Alex notices the movement in the bushes and pauses. He looks in the general direction and tries to see what caused the movement. Remembering that he had berries growing in his backpack, he checked to see if they had fruited yet. Maybe he could use those to help lure out whatever it was in the bushes.

The thing in the bushes turns out to be a tiny, yellow, mouse-like Pokemon. A Pichu, according to the Tome. It hops right on out and grabs the berry, snacking happily.

Alex quickly thought, ‘Aww, this little guy is adorable. Someone would give him a good home.’ He pulled out the second berry and asked, “Wanna come with me little fella? I’m sure I can find you a good home. Until then, I have lots of berries.” Alex pulled out his newly bought pokeball as well, trying to relay that he wanted the Pichu to hop inside.

Alex recalls Allure while saying, “Good catch Allure.” He bends down and picks up the ball containing the Pichu and mutters to himself, “Now to find this little thief a good home. Maybe Sage will have an idea. I should go check the board anyways since I’m broke.” Alex headed off to the guild again to check in at his branch and try to find someone to trade with.
