Bubbles thinks that this Seedot isn't really a good candidate for D.E.R.P., and Yue should probably just let it be. Seedot, on the other hand, thinks joining Yue is a great idea. It can laugh at her craziness more!
Should Yue accept, Seedot is level 8, Female, Desperate, with Early Bird.

Karrablast, like Seedot before it, looks at Yue incredulously. Unlike Seedot, however, it does its best to explain to Yue that Magikarp are in fact, not 'evil masterminds looking to take over the world'. They aren't even that dumb. Just rather pathetic on their own. And no, it is not an act. They make up for it when they evolve into Gyarados.

Bubbles facepalms. Hard. Joker, on the other hand, can barely contain its laughter at Yue's idiocy. Bubbles has half a mind to send that mocking Seedot flying off into the nearest tree, but Yue clearly doesn't understand that she's marking herself as an idiot at best, and a crazy person at worst. Karrablast just shakes its head and writes Yue off as a 'stupid, crazy human' as it disappears back into the brush.

"Oh...It left...Of course it did..." Yue finds the nearest tree and sits under it, hugging her knees. "I mean why wouldn't it...I'm just a useless little girl who was so desperate for affection I pretend for 13 years that I had no idea that my uncle didn't actually care about me...There were countless maids at that house and each and every one of them left after interacting with me once..." Yue begins to tear up as the feelings she had been trying to keep buried under a happy-go-lucky demeanor bubble to the surface. "Brooke said Alex had business in Saffron, but what if it was that he just didn't want to put up with me anymore..? I mean, back at the swamp, I ignored his warning about the cave and nearly got everyone killed...I'm a stupid kid who only knows how to fight and I can't even do that well...When the Witch showed up and attacked us I was the first one to fall..." Yue continues to sink deeper and deeper into depression as she talks. "I wouldn't blame them for leaving me behind..."

Bubbles gently whaps Yue on the head, telling her that Alex did not abandon her. That he would never do so. Neither would any of her friends. As Bubbles is about to continue trying to reassure Yue, Joker the Seedot seems very confused. After Bubbles explains the situation to it, Joker launches into a speech about how Yue should grow up already. How if she wants to avoid being hurt, she just has to not allow it. Uncle (whatever that is) doesn't care about her? So what?! She doesn't need him. Karrablast doesn't want to hang around? Screw that bug. It's not worth the effort. Friends sticking around only because they pity her? YOU DON'T NEED THEIR PITY!
Bubbles is so shocked that it translates Seedot's words precisely, not even thinking to soften the blow. Seedot's speech is summarized as "There's nothing wrong with being happy, but don't let others take that happiness away from you." If you want to be happy all the time, then be happy all the time! Take all those feelings of hurt and pain and change them into something else. Better yet, take that pain and rage and use it to fuel your desire to become stronger.

Yue is silent for a few moments as she takes all this in. Then she starts laughing. "You're right...You're absolutely right, Joker!" She says, standing up dramatically. "From now on, I'm not going to let anything get in the way of my happiness! I'm going to study and train so hard that I'll never be useless again! You hear me, world! I'm going to become strong enough that I'll be able to handle anything you throw my way!" Yue says triumphantly.
"No..Not just me.." She says, putting her hands on the Apricorns she's carrying and releasing her team. "We're going to be the strongest damn team this world's ever seen! Right guys?!" Yue says to her Pokemon, getting a group warcry from her fired up teammates in return. Come to think of it...I wonder how the guys I left back at the guild are doing? Their probably bored out of their minds. At least I left them out of their Apricorns, so they could wander about...Hope they aren't causing any trouble...
