Kecleon suddenly zips forward and smacks Clawdia, becoming mysteriously transparent and allowing Clawdia's claws to pass through it! It sticks out its tongue as if mocking the Corphish's ineffective attack.

The bubbles strike true, and seem to maybe slow it down just a tad, but not nearly enough to stop it completely.
Ghost Kecleon rushes forward again after the bubbles have struck, smacking Clawdia once again.

Yue grits her teeth. Clawdia's claws couldn't touch it and her Bubble attack barely did anything. By contrast, it's very first move put Clawdia in a bad way. There was only one thing to do in a time like this.
Yue suddenly puts on a frightened face and points behind the enemy trainer. "Wh-What is that?!"

Out of nowhere, Yue summons a sphere of darkness to temporarily render the woman unable to see.
"Gah! Tricky mages! Seviper! Go find her!" Yue hears her yell. She has no idea what a 'Seviper' is, but it sounds scary! She hears the pop of an Apricorn Ball and a faint hissing sound as she keeps on running.
Seviper tries to find and hunt down Yue to restrain her. Perception: YgTtcddT4d6+2
What turns out to be a big, black snake with red fangs as long as Yue's arm quickly spots her in the darkness and catches up. It cuts off her escape in front and behind by curving its body in an arc. It doesn't assault Yue, just prevents her escape until its master arrives.
Once the darkness fades, the woman walks over to the entrapped Yue. "Broke, huh? Well, that's unfortunate. Guess we'll have to think of a way for you to pay me what you owe me. You're, what? Twelve? Thirteen? That makes you an adult as far as the law is concerned, which means you are responsible for your own actions. First you flee a battle, then you attempt to deceive me in order to avoid paying instead of simply admitting that you have no money to pay with. Tsk. Tsk. That won't do at all. So, what shall we do about it, hmm?"4d6+2

"Well whatever you do, the only things I have to pay you with are day old cinnamon buns and a berry I found in a swamp." Yue says, taking the said opening her bag to show the woman that that was all that was in there.

Yue puts her hand on her sword's hilt. "I'll say this only once. I'll die before I hand one of the only two things my father ever gave me to anyone. I'll lend you one of my Pokemon if I must, but the only way you'll be getting your hands on this sword is if you're willing to kill me for it. And believe me, I won't go down easily. At the very least, I'll be taking one or two of your limbs with me." She says, not in threatening tone, but a matter-of-fact one that makes it clear that she means exactly what she says.

Once Yue hands over a filled Ball, the woman instructs Seviper to let her go. She will be free to leave.
Yue gains 1 Misc XP for the "encounter" with Seviper and 10 Poke XP from "losing" to Kecleon.

Yue hands the woman Clawdia's Apricon and heads off to find Leon. After recieving 250 crowns from him for the swamp job (and kicking him in the crotch out of frustration due to all the trouble it would have saved if he had given it to her earlier), Yue runs back to find the woman and trade her the 100 crowns for Clawdia back. She starts to walk away as soon as the ball is in her hands, but she stops a few steps away.
"I'm sorry for running like that. However...next time...Next time we battle...I run...and I won't lose..." She says. She doesn't turn around, but the frustration in her voice is nearly tangible as she grips Clawdia's apricorn.

Bubbles gets pounded into the ground by the thunder punch but manages to pick herself back up, staggering but not wanting Yue to experience the same intense frustration as last time.
"B-Bubbles? A-Are you okay?" Yue asks, her anger and frustration evaporating upon seeing Bubbles' state.
Bubbles' only response is to raise her voice for another attack.
