Silas moves around a bush and into the central section, trying to stay out of range of the attack but close enough to act quickly. He directs Gus to stick to the shrubberies to take advantage of the concealment they provide. Unfortunately, the greenery proves too distracting for the mushroom, and his attack misfires. Gus to K15.

Lowe is quick to pursue the Pokemon, whatever colour it felt like sporting. Keeping clear of the thicker hedges, he reared up to bite at the Punkmon while he had the chance. Thoron was considerably slower in following along, barely having stepped off the firm walkway of proper Arcadia. <iframe width="21" height="2.8400000000000034" style="position: absolute; width: 21px; height: 2.8400000000000034px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none;left: 5px; top: 53px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_40887709" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="21" height="2.8400000000000034" style="position: absolute; width: 21px; height: 2.84px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 983px; top: 53px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_84547654" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="21" height="2.8400000000000034" style="position: absolute; width: 21px; height: 2.84px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 5px; top: 141px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_71807965" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="21" height="2.8400000000000034" style="position: absolute; width: 21px; height: 2.84px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 983px; top: 141px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_18778211" scrolling="no"></iframe> Thoron uses Focused Orders.

Lowe darts forwards, aiming to bite the 'mon, but is dazzled by a burst of light at the last second, and misses as the 'mon dodges out of the way. Gus' seeds go wide, and Teris has to take a moment to recover from his blinding-fast rush. Speaking of whom... the enemy 'mon splits apart once more, the yellow half peeling off the side away from Lowe, before it darts around near Silas and unleashes another bolt of electricity into the Floatzel. It almost seems like it tries to peel off further away past the Trainer, but isn't able to. Lowe misses with Thunder Fang. Gus misses with Seed Bomb. Teris takes 49 damage and an injury from Shock Wave. Map

The bolt of energy sends a spasm to through the Floatzel. And the silly blob still was zipping around. Mustering another surge of water, Teris surges forward. Spinning forward after his slide, a whirling rush of water surrounds the blob. Wait. Wasn't it Blue before? Teris's aquatic swirl doesn't seem to do too much to the humanoid, though it causes it to stagger as the rapids whirl around... and the other, blue, 'mon seems to react in much the same way, flinching and twitching. The watery aura doesn't stop the 'Mon from one more launching a lightning bolt at Teris, this time finally causing it to dissipate into energy. The yellow 'mon turns its gaze (as much as one can call it that) on Silas, standing on his own. Teris hits with Whirlpool. Punkmon takes damage from Vortex. Teris takes 54 damage, 2 injuries, and Faints from Shock Wave.

When Silas finds himself targeted by one of his foes, he responds in kind. He pulls out a ball-o-chemicals and whips it at the things face. Bad Pokemon. No lightning bolt. Seeing one enemy unoccupied, Gus approaches and launches another explosive seed. With any luck, he'll actually land one this time. Silas uses a Paralysis Pester Ball on Yellow. AC 6: 20
Gus to N11. Gus uses Seed Bomb on Yellow! AC 2: 6 DB 10: 48

Thoron was mildly fascinated by the Punkmon's behaviour, but now wasn't the time for field research, and Lowe wasn't the mon for it anyways. No, better to focus on taking them... Or it? Out before it could do more harm. So as Thoron advanced at his own pace, Lowe continued to chomp down on his half-target. Thoron uses Focused and Brutal Training (Commander's Voice) on Lowe.
Lowe disengages to Q14 and uses Thunder Fang on Punkmon-Blue AC3 - 19 (if that entered Effect range, the flip was a 2) DB9 - 44 Physical Electric damage
Thoron shifts to L12.

Blake grits his teeth and keeps moving as Teris falls. As beautiful as these hedge's were, they real were getting in the way. He didn't have a clean shot at either of the miscreant Pokemon. He spins out Radiant's ball at the exit to the small park. Fat chance they'd be able to escape that way now. Radiant bursts free from the container with a flash of light, a bulwark of steel holding fast. A stream of bubbles shows the Blob in front of her what she thinks of it's electrical bearing.Blake Shifts to N18 Releases Radiant to Q18- Init 5

Radiant appears in a brilliant burst of light, taking up a defensive position and assessing the situation, as Lowe bites at the enemy. It doesn't seem like the crackling electricity does too much, but it does seem to stagger both enemies a little bit. Unfortunately, Silas' Pester Ball doesn't appear to have any effect on the Pokémon, but Lowe's attack did cause it to stay in place long enough for Gus to hit the thing, static-y patches flying out from the 'mon as the seeds hit its target. The yellow 'mon gets up from its semi-collapsed position, before pointing its hand at Gus once more, and sending another ripple through the air, knocking him around. Lowe hits with Thunder Fang. It's not very effective. Punkmon is Flinched. Silas hits with a Pester Ball. It has no effect. Punkmon takes an injury and is Staggered from Seed Bomb. Punkmon is on its last HP bar. Punkmon takes damage from Vortex. Gus takes 27 damage and an injury from Psychic, and is pushed.

Now that the enemy is showing signs of weakness, Silas and Gus close in to finish the job. With the splitting and merging that has happened so far, Silas figures the success of this plan is a bit worse than a coin flip. Definitely worth a shot if they manage to capture this thing. First, Gus douses their foe in poisonous spores, then Silas follows up by dropping a ball on its head. Really, missing would be more embarrassing than anything else at this point. Gus to P10. Poison Powder on Yellow! AC 6: 11
Silas to O8. Great Ball on Yellow! Flanking! AC 6: 11 Cap Check : 59

Lowe leaps forwards, biting at the blue 'mon, seeming to cause it a great deal of pain. It fires back a bolt of light at the Luxio, and manages to free itself at last from the vortex of water surrounding it, but it certainly seems to be on its last legs. This is compounded by the spores that fly from Gus, and, braving the light (and probably mortal peril), Silas manages to score a hit with his Pokéball on the 'mon. It turns to energy, and begins to get sucked in, as the other one begins to static... before it too takes on a similar form, disappearing into the ball. There's some shaking resistance, but, eventually, it clicks shut, the 'mon locked within. Punkmon takes an injury from Bite. It's super effective! Punkmon takes damage from Vortex. Lowe takes 33 damage from Signal Beam. Punkmon is freed from the Vortex. Gus hits with Poison Powder. Silas hits with the Pokeball. Gotcha! Punkmon was caught. Dropped from the yellow one's body - it seemed to be carrying it in one oversized hand - is yet another container, with yet another note inside. "The city crumbles. Slowly but surely falling. You cannot stop it. -Nephilim"And, as with before there's another set of numbers at the bottom, their meaning unclear. What is clear, though, is the voice from Omega. "Alright, that seems to be the last one, at least from reports. You're clear to return to HQ, but you also have permission to sweep the area to make sure that it's clear. At as thorough a pace as is required." The subtext there, at least, is fairly clear. The group is able to take a little bit of time to enjoy the open air should they wish it, before heading back.

He might not have made it in time, but Thoron was still close enough to watch as the Punkmon was captured. And what a peculiar quirk that was. More importantly, they had clearly demonstrated their ability to capture Pokemon again, hadn't they! So in good spirits, Thoron read their last letter and nodded, "Noted. We should ensure there are no stragglers separated from their packs... Or some such." Not that that was likely. "One almost wonders where Nephilim gained so much confidence, though. This was a fair effort for nothing more than general chaos and doom-saying."

"We don't actually know how much effort it took to do this. If there are more teleporter circles up here, it might actually be pretty easy. But still, it doesn't explain what they want..."
As he trails off in thought, Silas gathers the three and reads them again. As he does, he copies the notes and number sequences to his own journal. On the off chance that they end up containing classified information, having extras will be useful. Once this task is complete and the journal is back with his supplies, Silas smooths out the three notes on a bench and gathers the team. There's one member most suited for code-breaking, so he makes for a good starting point.
"Hey, Omega. This 'Nephilim' seems to have left a code on the notes. Can you find any patterns or translations?"

The Porygon pops out to glance over the notes, momentarily taking in each one, before saying "They appear to be three axes of a coordinate system." There's a brief pause. "The location appears to be pointing to a crossroads, two levels down, not too far from your current position. Roughly a twelve minute travel time. I have marked directions on your databracer, should you wish to proceed there. There are no discernable patterns at this time in the non-numerical portions of the texts. If there is headway on that mark, I will inform you."

Blake stands by as the Pokemon is whisked away in it's new ball. An overexaggerated sigh, and a short jog towards the others. He pauses only to return Radiant in the short trip, the bird hadn't done much this fight but she still deserved a rest after the earlier battles. "No stragglers or some clue to who set them loose up hear. Fortunately this Nephalim has given us."
Silas was already ahead of him. Gathering the notes and feeding the string of numbers into the handy dandy Omega. And what luck! The Porygon, came through. "Wonderful Omega! So we'll be going yes? It's out duty to find out who's responsible. It could always be a distraction but then why hide it so hard?"

"Of course we'll go. We won't know the why until we do."
Nephilim's code proved to be far more simple than he expected. If it was that easy to solve, why even bother encoding the message in the first place? It forced them to deal with all three groups of Pokemon, but that's about it. Unless... "Omega, do you think the AIs of other teams would have been able to solve the code that easily?"

"Of course," Omega says. "It wasn't even encoded. Just coordinates. It's just something that rarely gets used outside of computers, records, books, and the like - basically, anything other than humans talking to each other, which is the main way things get communicated - because using descriptors is way easier, especially within a district. It's not a secret, just... something that doesn't come up regularly. Hence why it really isn't bothered to be taught, especially now."
After Silas takes time to heal everyone up, and everyone does what they want to do in the Over, the group follows the directions Omega sets, eventually finding themselves in a... perfectly ordinary junction. There's nothing that stands out here. No people out of the ordinary, no Pokémon, just people bustling through on their way to and fro, unconcerned.
After a little bit of searching, though, the Technicians spot, off to the side, a small out of place package. It's wrapped up, with a note stuck on top, that reads, in the same writing as before:
"Figured Technicians would be a bit more steadfast than to turn aside at such little provocation. Can't blame me for trying, though. Anyways, give this gift to your boss. He'll know what the message means. -Nephilim"

Silas looks at the package as though a Pokemon is about to jump out. "I don't trust it. But at the end of the day, it doesn't make much sense to send a trapped package to Cain like this." Silas looks to the other two with a small smile. "Besides, if we weren't supposed to open it, she would have said something."
If it's something that would be recognized by any manager of an active team, then the contents of the package might be something classified. That would definitely be worth seeing. However, if the package is meant for Cain specifically, that would have some very interesting implications.

The 'present' opens easily, packaging tearing aside. Inside the box lies something that's familiar to the Technicians present. It's a containment collar, like all of their 'mon have - although the crystal has been smashed, rendering it inert. On the back, like with all of them, has two names engraved, showing the Technician to whom it belongs to, and then below that, the Pokémon that would wear it. This one reads:
"Cassandra Hoffman 'Mindy'"
There's nothing else within, nor does it look like anything else has been changed with the collar besides the smashed crystal.

Upon opening it, Thoron concluded that the package was, most likely, trapped. Just, a very particular, emotional trap that would only ever affect one person. With a wary but very telegraphed glance down to the databracer, Thoron asked, "You think the message was 'this will happen again', Silas?"
Sensitive information being what it was, he continued sourly, "Anyways. A collar isn't much of a lead, so we should return to base. I'm... Sure those acid burns could stand some clinical care. Yes?"
