Leon - Solo RP & Special Missions

"I...um...The thing is..." Leon said struggling until Rex nudged his leg "Would you happen to have a daughter, younger then me, with pink hair and yellow eyes" he managed to get out, still trying to get used to his new leader's intimidating disposition.

Leon saw the look in her eyes trying to keep steady, "Of course, obviously you would, Honestly...I really considered the possibility she might be mistaken since she didn't seem to know anything about you. A young applicant who entered with me had been held captive and escaped. She seems to be under the false assumption that you were her mother. I don't know how she learned your name but she likely learned it from her captor, her father" he explained quickly but made sure each word was clear.

"She has not tried to use your name for any personal benefit and didn't even seem to know about the guild until she was informed about it today, and she seems to have only recently escaped captivity," he added wanting D'Mara to know that Yue hadn't tried to use her perceived relation to her for ill.

Leon shakes his head shivering slightly taking a moment to compose himself "No, not yet, I think we were more focused on finding you and getting Yue into the guild so she'd be safe. Currently, Yue is looking to be a member of the normal branch, so that's where she likely is at the moment. But before you leave..." he said hesitating quite a bit not sure if this was the best time but realized if he waited too long this kind of anger might be directed at him.

"I'm not sure...if you've seen my form yet, but my real name is Leon Van Hectril...I'm no longer affiliated with them, and I've been granted clemency for revealing their latest hiding spot. My family disowned me after they learned I could do...this." he said collecting some shadow on his fist before striking at the air "Well...disowned is the nice way of putting it, more like imprisoned, I only escaped and realised what kind of people my family were recently" he said looking down a bit ashamed.

Leon was surprised, he'd assumed she would have heard about them or reacted to his powers or something, but honestly, it was a bit refreshing to not have to worry about it. Thinking about it he wasn't too surprised D'Mara didn't know the Hectrils his family avoided targeting or offering their services to Noble's, he assumed because they were fearful they'd ply their services to a 'witch' that could actually affect them.

"Basically criminals...people who were enemies to...most of the guild actually. I just didn't want my lineage popping up later and causing problems and I'm not exactly proud of coming from them. I plan on going by an alias for that reason. I apologize for taking up your time on the matter. I can introduce you to Yue now if need be." he said honestly a bit more relaxed to see an expression on D'Mara's face that was different from intimidating or angry and was fine with easing Yue into meeting someone like her.

Leon nodded not really able to argue that he was necessary in the information gathering department, as most of the questions he'd asked Yue had gone through one ear and out the other, and with Genevieve there, Yue would already have a buffer from the intimidating presence that was D'Mara "I suppose I should get settled in, are there assigned rooms or beds in the dorms? or can I just go and pick one?" he asked.

Leon nodded as D'Mara walked out, wondering how all the girls seemed unaffected by the pressure she gave off. Hoping that in time he'd get used to it himself. On his own for the moment, Leon headed toward the male dorm to unpack his things, a little nervous about interacting with and making a poor first impression with one of his new branch mates. It seemed they felt the same way because no one really jumped forward with him there.

Leon headed into the male dorm and picked a living space as close as he could to the entrance, he didn't like the idea of being trapped in the hall if something happened. Which he realized was a bit redundant considering the position of the branch in the guild. Leon took out the formulas he'd stolen from his family hiding them under his mattress, he only was able to decipher some of the papers, but hoped in time he'd be able to make use of everything someday for better purposes, but leaving them out in the open where anyone could make use of them or on his person where one could simply steal them didn't seem like a good plan either.

He set the alchemy tools he managed to take up on the table. It was a basic set up but it was good enough for his current purposes. The reagents he stored in the bottom drawer of his dresser. Just in case some vial or bag would break it wouldn't ruin his spare clothes. Those he put in the upper drawers. Soon his bag only had the trainer and combat gear he'd brought with him to the city, and his satchel of coins. He debated on leaving Witch Slayer behind, his familial weapon, a clear sign of his lineage if someone who knew about it, spotted it. However, if Ms.D'Mara's attitude was anything to go by, very few people would know about it. He decided to keep it in his bag, hidden unless he needed it.

With his more homey or fragile items safely secured, Leon headed back out into the main room looking over the job board curiously. Wondering if maybe the work the Dark branch did was what Genevieve had found so objectional.

Leon took a breath trying to avoid thinking about the stares he was getting from D'Mara and her interesting looking pokemon "Yes, Lady D'mara, I wanted to report I've completed 2 missions," he said digging into his pack finding the papers for the 'Make a Pokefriend' and 'Find evidence of Dark-Types in dangerous areas' missions handing them to her, before letting out Ida "When I was traveling with my friends in the swamp, we ran into a group of Corphish, Corphish evolve into the Dark/Water Crawdaunt which implies some Dark types do live in the swamp." he explained.

"The other reason I came to see you is because of this creature." Leon said letting Lavender out of her ball "My friends and I met a group of them in the swamp, but the Poketome can't figure out what they are, and I wasn't sure what that meant" he said holding his hand out to Lavender as the creature squirmed up his arm.

"Yes, the creatures were very shy when we first met them. They immediately shrank into puddles when we approached, and only emerged after we gave them space. They prefer water to solid food too, so you can't bait them." Leon said about Lavender and smiled a bit when D'Mara said Ida would be strong later. When D'Mara gave him the slips for his payment, Leon bowed a bit "Thank you Lady D'Mara" he said stepping out of her way so she and her pokemon could get past.

Leon wondered if the pokemon liked him, as it seemed to give him more attention then the branch master did. Out of curiosity, he flipped through the Poketome trying to find the creature, returning Lavender and Ida, before heading out to the front of the Guild building letting out Puff and Lavender, having them do a small battle to practice while he looked for Lady D'Mara's pokemon in the magic book.
