"Do you want to eat with us, Sis?" Yue asks Nue, having completely forgotten that she was hugging Rei. At least until Brooke speaks up. "Oh! Sorry, Rei." She says, letting go of Rei.

"I have been trailing you since you left the house, Sister. You forgot to tell people that you were departing. It is alright though, I made sure to leave notice in your stead." She tilts her head slightly at Yue. "It was very boring following you the whole way. Nothing interesting happened at all. It was expected, but mildly disappointing nonetheless. Also, I brought your request with me."
She produces a bag from somewhere (wait a sec, that wasn't there before! where'd it come from?!) and pulls an egg warmer out of it, complete with a lovely brown egg contained within. "Inside of this egg is an Eevee. Just like you wanted. You must take very good care of it, Yue. I will not allow you to accidentally neglect a newborn Pokemon." There is just the slightest hint of an edge to her voice, even though her expression remains as neutral as ever. "Not that I suspect you would do such a thing." Just as quickly as emotion crept into Nue's voice, it's gone again.

"My hair?" Yue asks, looking at her reflection in the nearest window. "Huh? When did my hair turn white?" She says, looking confused. Such concerns are completely forgotten when Nue brings out the egg warmer. She carefully takes the egg warmer and egg from Nue, handling it with more care than anything she's ever touched. "Thanks Sis! I promise I'll give it all the TLC I can muster!"

Rei feels a bit out of place in the conversation, seemingly with people Brooke knows fairly well but Rei's a but clueless as of right now. But Yue bringing up switching to her branch lights her up a little.
"Well you'd be there with me, Yue! You at least wouldn't be alone there, even if I feel a bit guideless there. But that's fine!"

"You haven't met anyone in the branch yet?" Brooke asks, surprised. "I'd have thought you'd be best friends with half of them already, the way you talk." She almost says 'flirt' instead, but decides against it at the last minute. Rei would probably laugh, but it still feels a little too pointed.

"Well I've met a couple, but I still haven't met the leader yet. Just her pokemon, who gave me the iniital run-down. And one of the ones I met wasn't very talkative and the other sleeps throughout the day. I've met her and she's awesome but last time we hung out I got too sleepy."
Rei throws her hands up.

"The Normal Branch. I only joined it because the Branch head said there were a lot of cute Normal Pokemon...But since the Normal Branch is kind of the catch all branch for people who can't make it in the other Branches, it's lacking in mission for me to take. That's why I think I should see what each branch has to offer before coming to a decision." Yue says.
