Leanne was a bit flustted “I accidentally mentioned my ‘brother’ Leon and Rei seems to think I was courting him.But I’m not really courting anyone I’m not sure how Nue would feel she’s really hard to read,” she said covering her mouth as Leon started to yell for her to stop both of them mentally bemoaning her loose tounge brought on by her tired state.

Does that mention of it being a brother stop Rei? There are no such things as speed bumps for Rei! She floors it! Hearing some stuff about an actual entanglement is just an excuse to keep on the gas. A big toothy grin creeps across her face.
"Leanne, I will say it's cute when you're ignorant. If you are worried about how someone will feel if you'd be dating someone... Well that means you like her!"

Leanne's face was quickly getting flushed as she tried to process this new information. Did you like Nue or was she simply trying to be kind to the girl because she showed interest or did it have something to do with the fearful aura her mother gave off when talking to Leon about their relationship.
Leanne wasn't sure but was quickly getting overwhelmed by Rei's speed having an idea "So you wanted to look for Poison Types for a mission yes? Did you want some help?" she asked trying to change the subject off her love life.

We might run into Tropius, but one of our friends has an understanding with them, so I'm hopin' they won't bother us if we don't bother them. Leanne let herself be dragged along "Yeah deep in the woods there are some things better let alone, but I think it will be fine. I mean we're one less party member but I'm sure there will be the same amount of pokemon to face," she said jynxing the party.

Rei is stopped temporarily by Brooke. She perks up when she hears about the candle.
"Oh I've known a few litwick! They are adorable, but they can't really turn that effect off. I'm sure they didn't mean it..."
That mention about the spot seems to sink in though.
"Oh ok. I'll keep that in mind. You seem very serious about it, so I'll bow to your judgement. I'm sure you both can keep lovely little me safe, right? Besides, once I get a type I like, my job in the swamp is done. We don't have to explore too deep."
Rei then goes back to dragging them to adventure!

After walking for an unknown period of time (the lower levels of light in the swamp tends to mess with perception of time), Brooke gets the feeling that the group is being watched. No sooner has she expressed her concern then several somethings burst from the nearby brush and assail the group with this weird, white stuff that sticks to one's face and makes it impossible to see until it is pried off.

Leanne knew this situation was somewhat familiar as she tried to struggle with the frubble and get it off her face. Hoping the little pranksters weren't out for a fight while they were blinded.
