Overall, everyone regrouped without much fuss, and no one appeared to be late. "I need to check in with Nurse Joy, but was everyone successful in catching a pokemon?"

"After I split with you I was able to catch one." John stated, "I was also able to pick up a bunch of materials to make pokeballs, so hopefully I can get a stock up soon."

"Hey, c'mon, I didn't forget it!" Tori protested innocently. "I just give everybody nicknames." She put a hand on both boys' shoulders and started 'gently' pushing them towards John and Oliver as everyone moved towards the Pokemon Center. "Okay, okay, forget the nutjob. Time to show off the goods!" She pulled out her two newly occupied Pokeballs, calling out Valentine and the pink pug and beaming proudly.
Tori wasn't sure by what metric their new Pokemon might be judged but obviously hers was the best.

Oliver having been frozen by the strange man's appearance and threat shakes himself to get rid of his lingering nerves.
"I need to hit the center too," he said. "My new mon is hurt and I need to change my shoes and socks. They're soaked."
Saying that he rushed toward the warm center hoping that he hadn't been out in the cold too long.

For those of you who entered the pokemon center, you were able to get your teams healed quickly before they were all set to go again. Those of you looking at Tori's pokemon watch as one jingles its keys at you while the other slurps its tongue on its nose as it's eyes move toward opposite outward directions.

Barry walked into the center with everyone else. He didn't need the healing as he didn't get into a fight yet. He did let out Dusty seeing that Tori was showing off her catches. Dusty hits the floor still surrounded in his gold colored spore wrap. Sensing the heat from the building, Dusty started to move around a bit. "Found this little guy, but that was it. He seemed in a spot and I felt bad for it. Figured I'd take him along with me. Bugs are great help in composting and such so I figured I may go ahead and keep him around." Dusty leaves a pile of the toxic spores as he wanders around. "Better clean those up. That could hurt someone." Barry says leaning over to collect the pile of the toxic remains. He thinks for a second and puts them in a side pocket in his pack. If he runs into that big guy again, Barry could use those in self defense.
(Barry uses Seed Bag 1 and collects Stun Spore from Dusty. He now can use the ability as listed. Scenex2.)

Keno released Gypsy while the othe rpokemon were healing, since she was in peek condition. She deserved a chance to soak up some temperate climate, and stretch out a bit. Gypsy spent some time watching the Scatterbug scoot around.
"I found an Pachirisu, but it was so weak, Gypsy here knocked it clean out," at that, Gypsy pearked up with pride. "Caught a Buneary though, not sure what to make of it just yet."
Glossing through the dex, he could see all the new entries, it was just a mattere of putting pokemon to trainers.

After patching up his mon, Oliver pulled off his wet shoes and socks. His feet were red and raw but it also felt so good to get out of the sopping wet. Trading them out for a second pair of to let the others dry he ran back up to the others.
"Well, if we're not doing the battle portion, I'm ready to go!" he cheered brightly.

Meanwhile, an audino was cleaning up the rest of the poisonous dust from Dusty's movements around the floor. Another one changed the channel to the news, where Joe Walton appeared on screen. "For the current league news, the season has started on full swing today with trainers waiting in line at all the gyms to take the trials and battles within! However, trainers in Mercury City are having a rough start as many are getting frustrated with Dr. Vergiften's challenges. There are suggestions he is cheating or using loopholes in the league rules, but investigations have found no evidence as of yet. The rest of the league members have been asked about this matter, but they have remained silent. And now for the weather!"

Oliver frowned. Accusing a Gym leader of cheating? And so quickly? But didn't they have to get vetted for the position? "It almost sounds like the Mercury Gym challenge is much more technical than people were expecting. That might mean it's precision-based rather than something that can just be powered through." Then he sighed. "But we're probably going to find out. I mean it's one of the Gyms that need to be cleared this year and until there's actual proof, it's still a legitimate challenge. And isn't it the closest anyway?"

Catching the news as she lingered and waited for the boys to heal their Pokemon and announce her the winner of their little contest, Tori grinned to herself and muttered under her breath, "It's only cheating if y'get caught." Before it looked like the other interns were all ready to leave, she approached one of the nurses. "Hey, there some place here I can trade off Pokemon I don't wanna keep to su- sweet people who would kindly give them a home?" She held up the drooling Snubbull at arm's length. "Just lookit this cute lil' guy. He's obviously better off as a pet then a fighter."

Keno was interested in the answer to Tori's question, if not the 'interesting' dog pokemon she was holding. There seemed to be a number of dogs around, recalling the pup that scared off Buneary.
It seemed everything was in order, all healed up and ready to go. Keno was content to move on, he accomplished the task of catching a new pokemon in the allotted time, so no one could say he failed. On the other hand, he wasn't confident his capture was the best of the bunch. "John's right, there will be plenty of opportunities to prove ourselves on the road. Seems like we're bonded by Sequoia-"
He remembered what the cops were saying earlier, but it didn't concern him much, having other priorities, "didn't the officers say Sequoia was being harassed by that bird person, should we check up on him before we go?" After all, Sequoia was there lifeline into the world of pokemon training.

Tori, the audino nurse seems to ponder about what you are asking for before her ears twitch, giving an indication that she has an idea. She walks over to the passageway leading to the bedrooms and points to the end of the hall. Sitting there, was an old machine that looked like a TV that had pneumatic tubes and trays attached to it. There was some blinking lights and pokeball decals, but they looked like they needed to be cleaned up or replaced. In fact, the whole thing needed to be replaced by the looks of it!
