It is difficult to tell whether or not Mimikyu has a trainer or not, but it certainly seems to have taken a shine to you all. It is looking at Kane and Ira expectantly, as if wondering if they too will lavish it with affection like their sister.

Hau thinks for a moment, and then says "Well, we could let it spend the night here, and try to find out if it's wild or not tomorrow. Elise, you want to keep it in your room?"

"Yes, sure I don't mind!" Elise speaks out cheerfully.
"Mimikyu, do you want to stay over tonight?" She asks the little ghost with the same enthusiasm.

"You sure that's a good idea, Elise?" Ira asks, narrowing his eyes a little. "Even if it's not malicious, it doesn't seem to have the best sense of boundaries."

"Of course it's a good idea! What could possibly go wrong" Elise tells her brother
"Besides, do you want to let a lonely pokémon go alone through the night?"

Mimikyu gives a spooky squeak of joy before running in circles around Elise wildly. As it does, Rotom strokes its "chin" as it analyzes Mimikyu. "Elise, I think Mimikyu believes it has passed itself off as a Pikachu to you," it says slowly. Hau, meanwhile, pats Kane on the shoulder, comforting his cousin and promising to get him a brand new costume.

"If that makes it happy that's fine. I know it's not really a pikachu anyway."

Ira hums, unsure about this idea. He looks at Elise carefully, just to make sure she's not being influenced by anything other than her own nature - unlikely, but worth checking.
After seeing nothing, he sighs and shakes his head, resigning himself to keeping an eye on this thing.

The afternoon wears on into evening. Mimikyu seems to really be into playing the role of Pikachu, though it noticeably tries to stay out of the sunlight as it plays with Elise. Hau takes Kane into town and buys him not one, but three brand new costumes as an apology for Mimikyu ruining his old one. Grandpa does call in to ensure all of you are alright. He seems unperturbed about the destroyed furniture and clothing saying that sometimes, things like this happen. But, as the sun vanishes below the horizon and the moon and stars light up the Alolan night, Mimikyu slides down to the front door and beckons Elise to follow. Ira It is probably beckoning Elise because she was the one who played with it. That said, you don't know what it could want this late at night... Also, speaking with Rotom has told you where you can find an Alolan Grimer. There are three places. Two of them are the grimy, industrial sectors of Hau'oli City and Malie City (located on Ula'ula Island.) The third is a special preserve built in the desert on Poni Island- recent environmental cleanings are driving the 'mon to extinction.

"Mimikyu? Where are you going?" Elise asks as she follows the Mimikyu.

Mimikyu uses its long hand to pop open the front door, and uses its little wooden tail to indicate a direction. Hau, who had gone to get snacks for the night's round of Nio binging, pauses as he notices the Mimikyu. "Hau'oli Cemetary is that way," he says. "Why does it want to take you there?"

Kane glares at the mimikyu with an armful of snacks
"Perhaps it finally knows it's place and is going to go bury itself . . ."
He then pushes Hau forward to continue on to the room for Nio binging

"A possiblity. In any case, there is something there that Mimikyu wants us to see, so let's go!" Elise says following through on her words.

Ira sighs as he follows Elise. "Alright, if you're going then I'm coming with. But let's be clear," he locks eyes with Mimikyu, or at least its costume, "if this is some kinda trick or trap, then you're gonna know what it's like to die of fright."

Mimikyu gives no indication that it heard Ira, and continues to smoothly slide down the road. After about an hour or so, it turns off onto a smaller road that winds up into the mountains in the center of Melemele Island. Following it, you notice a palpable chill, and weird mists begin to filter across the path, with clouds drifting across the face of the Alolan moon. The trees lining the road begin to look less friendly and cheery, and more like mourners off to a funeral. Looming up out of the mists is a large, wrought-iron fence, out of place in this tropical paradise, with no gate to bar entry. The iron arch that overlooks the opening has a large sign upon it, reading "Hau'oli Cemetery." Next to the gate is a white rock with an inscription: "In life, we shared our existence. In death, we share our graves." Beyond is an orderly, well-kept graveyard with dozens of tombstones lined up in neat rows. Mist lazily drifts through the graveyard, and the only other sign of life is an insane-looking teenage girl dressed black, surrounded by three Litwick and a Haunter in a witch hat, apparently in the middle of some occult ritual. Mimikyu slides into the graveyard, apparently quite at ease in the macabre environment.

As soon as he sees the girl and her ghosts, Ira darts behind the nearest large tombstone, peeking from behind and trying to see if he can ascertain the purpose behind their ritual.
