Leader Satori looses a small burst of Aura to deflect the sleeping kiss. (Detect) She and Hitmonchan move into flanking positions around Sam before Hitmonchan unleashes a devastating explosive punch.
Satori uses Detect as Priority to block Lovely Kiss. She then uses her Shift Action alongside Hitmonchan to flank Sam the Mawile.
Dynamic Punch AC 8 vs suQUes|_1d20+1 Damage: 4d10+43 Confuses target. Ignores evasion if target is Flanked.
CQM: Sam becomes Marked. Marked targets take a -X penalty to Accuracy Rolls and a -10 penalty to Damage Rolls on attacks that do not include the Pokemon that Marked them as a target. X is equal to half of (Satori's) Type-Linked Skill Rank (4). Additionally, Marked Foes provoke an Attack of Opportunity from the Pokemon that Marked them if they shift out of an Adjacent Square. Oof! Rude. Sam is a bit wobbly after the punch, but that's because it was a sneaky one.
Sam activates her Leftovers and swap to her Fire Brace. Then she uses Iron Defence to bolster herself! A tick from the confusion as well - oww.

Satori has already used her action for this round via Detect, so she uses a Swift Action to make Hitmonchan more Focused.
Hitmonchan punches again. Boom.

As Sam is still Marked, Satori turns briefly to fire off an attack at Jane. Clearly Jane was feeling left out of the slug-fest, so she needs a pick-me-up.

Still being flanked means Sam is still vulnerable to more splody punches. Why change it if it works?

Sam snarls at the leader as well. She'd rather snap but alas. Intimidate for -1 Atk CS on Satori.
Then Sam uses Iron Defence, taking a tick from confusion. She didn't feel too well - but behind her iron skin she started to feel safer at least.

Hitmonchan goes down, and a Hitmonlee takes its place, though appearing in a different location so as not to be flanked by Jane. Instead of kicking though, as one would expect, Hitmonlee draws back its fist and smacks Sam. The fist explodes, just like Hitmonchan's did. Must be the Gym's "signature" technique. 'Splody punches hurt! Satori follows up with a quick chop at Sam's exposed side.

Boink! The Hitmonlee hurt a lot less then the chan, his fist failing to inflict much damage through Sam's Iron Defences.
The tiny mawile snaps her jaws at Lee letting it know she was remaking all the kung fu flicks into pint-sized kaiju movies! Intimidate for -1 Atk Cs!
Then she took an adorable snooze to Rest up and get healthier. Her injury prevented her from feeling perfectly fine, but it was still pretty nice.

Jane carefully circles around the punchy pokémon and trainer to gently nudge Sam awake (standard action to undo sleep). She adds some Focusing words of encouragement too!

Hitmonlee weathers the attack, and Satori turns around to slap Jane with a hand-held Aura Sphere. It can't miss, so Pocket Sand is irrelevant!
Swift Action - 2 AP for Sword of Body and Soul, triggered when Satori uses an Aura Move against an adjacent target. She chooses to have it deal physical damage, but adds her (minimal) SATK anyway.

Sam ducks under the close combat - luckily she was too tiny to get struck by that! She does gets tagged in the face with the ouchy punches. And now those annoying swirling birds were back! Bleh. Tackle the Lee for great justice!

Hitmonlee briefly looks as if it will tough it out, but it doesn't quite make it. Satori sends out her Chesnaught next. It fires off some seeds at Jane while Satori shoves a fist into the 'magician's' gut, siphoning off a bit of her energy.

Jane goes for trickery! She Quick Switches out Sam for Nie the Whimsicott. And Nie uses Intercept on the Leech Seed!
