"Hmmmmmmm," the doubt could clearly be heard in Iris's voice, but she did glance at the still present Floappull and accept that Yoko wouldn't be completely alone. Even then, though, and even if she was a bit cold... "It's okay, I'm not freezing or anything," Iris assured Yoko, which wasn't wrong, "Thanks for the concern, though." The temperate climate meant that it was still sort of warm even now.
Maybe a little out of the blue, Iris asked, "By the way, do you have any problems with Bang?". To Iris, this question wasn't as random as it seemed. She had been thinking that it wouldn't be so bad to leave Yoko alone if she just had her Remoraid out, but since it wasn't like she had Light out, either, she couldn't just force Yoko... At the same time, it hadn't seemed like Yoko felt uncomfortable or anything when she was with Bang. Iris figured she might as well ask to make sure.

"Huh?" Yoko stops and turns back to Iris. "Oh, um, not really, no," she replied, turning back to the river and resuming her task. After a while though, she felt the need to ask, "why do you ask?"

"Er... I just wanted to make sure," Iris answered right back as she started swinging her underwear around again, "You didn't release Bang during our last fight... or at all since we've descended into this level. I thought you might have had a reason for that."

Yoko pauses as the reasoning settled in her. "Oh, that, well, honestly... I forgot," she lamely replied with a weak shrug, and then resumed washing the sleeping bag.

"Ah... is that so..." Iris lamely ended... and awkwardly turned around to finish flapping her clothes dry. Silence probably followed for the rest of the washing and attempts to dry. Presumably whenever Yoko finished washing her sleeping bag, Iris would accompany Yoko back to camp. Her underwear and inner wear probably wouldn't be dry even then, so she would be limited to only wearing her also wet jacket-tunic-thing.

After everyone has finished with the remnants of their current tasks and met up at the remains of the campfire they head out for the edge once again. After a short journey, the group convenes at the precipice once more. Having waited until after sunset darkness has fallen, making navigating the thick vegetation of the jungle difficult. Most of the diurnal fauna has come home to roost for the night, the nocturnal specimens now taking to the air. The drone of insects intensifies in the muggy night air.

With everyone rested and the plan discussed, all that's left to do is carry it out. Calt allows Iris to channel him and see through his eyes, then dives back down over the edge to peer into a number of dens he remembers seeing on his first pass around this part of the island.

As Calt flies out over the edge he can clearly make out several holes in the rock face that contain nests. He focuses on the topmost row that sit right below where the group is standing. The first contains a pair of medium -sized birds that have long beaks and red, yellow and black markings. The second contains a large-sized reptilian creature with off-white and green markings. Name: Vivorin Level: 23 Type: Flying/Dragon Nature: Hasty Abilities: Shed Skin Flutter
Having outgrown their childhood nests they now carry it with them. They seek out new roosts to build new ones for their young. The third contains a medium-sized bird and two small sized chicks that all have red, blue and white markings. the fourth contains a large-sized bird that appears to have some sort of dark grey fluffy plumage and seems to glow slightly. Iris tries to concentrate on this Pokemon but no information comes to her. The fifth contains a softly buzzing hive of some sort.

<Calt, come up,> Iris spoke to the owl, not wanting it to tire itself out with the stress of remaining hidden. Standing near the edge of the cliff, she was in dry clothes again. All the talking, preparation, and rest had given her clothes and her body time to dry in front of the fire. It wasn't quite the same comfort as freshly laundered clothes, but much better than feeling like she was going to develop a rash at any moment from constantly rubbing her skin against water-laden fabric.
To the trainers, she divulged all the information she could come up with, as well as what she couldn't, and followed it up with, "Well, that's all I know. I could try looking into the other three Pokemon, but that just means more chances of Calt's presence waking them up. For now, I think we should put our all into sneaking in to capture one of them without waking it up, so that the other doesn't wake up and run away. Then we can capture the other as well and halve the number of trips it'd take to get down to the next island."

Layl scratches her chin in thought. Sneaking down and going to capture one of them, before going for another? Sounds like something she could do. "I wouldn't be opposed to heading down first, other than myself Shossk is a good choice, but I also have more...pokemon to rely on if I get in a fight, so I believe I should head down first with plan fast catch, then if I succeed you all go for the other, does that sound agreeable?"
Layl was pretty sure that by herself she wouldn't be fine...but she had 3 other team members with her, so the problem shouldn't be too immense for her.

Shossk is silent for a moment, then nods. "Capturing mmore than one flying creature large enough to carry uss would lessen the risk of being spotted on our way downn."Following that is several minutes of planning how to tackle the problem at hand. At first Shossk is all for the idea of focusing on one creature at a time, but soon the idea to split up and take on both creatures at once is brought up. Shossk is initially against the idea - "Don't split the party" is one of the golden rules of adventuring. But in this case it was the surest way of capturing both fliers with minimal risk of either escaping. There was no lack of intelligence as both dens had been scouted beforehand, and both groups would be substantial enough to handle a single target, anyway. At least, that was the theory. Shossk secured his length of Sturdy rope above the entrance of the fluffy, glowing flier's den, as that was Shossk's target. Light, the dark fox, would be going with him alone, without Iris. She'd made it clear that she was no good at sneaking around, so she'd be seeing through Light's eyes and giving instructions that way instead. Shossk made sure Light was secure in his travel pack, which he shoulders, and descends the rope down the side of the island. His motions are slow, fluid, deliberate, and reasonably silent, so as to not alert his quarry. He steps off from the rope as silently as he can, and sets Light down next to him. Calt swoops down into the cave as well, the owl being completely Stealthy and silent.

Layl watches as Shossk ties his rope, trying her best to emulate him. If it wasn't for the fact they had plenty of time, she honestly wouldn't have gotten it, but thankfully, they did have time. Replicating each step Shossk took, she tied her own rope above the dragon's den. Well, that seemed like a horrible idea now, but they had made a plan, and Layl was sticking to it. "Yoko, head on down after I finish descending, the rope can only handle one of us at a time" After giving Yoko that warning, She returned Mr. Turtle and Nacht, having returned Umbra sometime earlier when they started towards here. After checking that she had everyone in their pokeballs, and making sure she had her keyblade attached to her back, she slowly starts descending the rope, trying her best to be as sneaky as possible. Stealth:19 It takes some time getting down, Layl makes sure to keep herself as silent as possible, making sure that the dragon wouldn't notice her as she slides down the rope. Finally reaching the bottom, Layl steps off the rope, giving it a tug as a signal, before she turned to see if she could spot the dragon.

Prior to Shossk's descent, Iris had tossed Shossk a dusk ball prepared with a lock case and suggested that he use the ball as it should offer the highest chances of capture in this current situation. As for Light, she is released and given a short explanation of the situation at hand. As always, Iris is unintentionally wary of the Zorua. However, in this situation, it couldn't be helped. After forming a connection with her trainer, Light descends with Shossk, either hitching a ride on the lizardman or his bird. When the Zorua enters the cavern herself, her entrance isn't quite as smooth as the lizardfolks, but hopefully her species' natural penchant for making no noise (stealth capability) would serve well enough to keep the bird from awakening. Meanwhile, Iris prepares for what's to come next. From what she sees through her Zorua's eyes, she makes a Small Prophecy and sees a small glimpse of what's to come ahead. She readies to take her chances and alter any unfavorable outcomes in what she sees.

Yoko nods her head in understanding and responds with a simple, "okay." She stood by and gripped the rope in a glove-less hand as she watched Layl make her descent, straining her eyes to make the girl out in the darkness. When Layl gave the signal to come down, Yoko tugged on the rope a few times to make sure it was still secure, and then made her own descent. Rolling Survival over Stealth since the option was given, and got a 14 for the result. Link to the rolls.

Layl waits until the moment Yoko's feet touches the ground, springing into action the minute they do. She gives Yoko a quick wave, before turning and chucking the prepared pokeball with a lock case, Straight at the dragon she intended to catch. Layl's Capture roll AC6 Roll:Critical Success, Natural 20 Capture Roll: 19 -5 due to critical=14

Even in the darkness of the cave, Shossk's prey could easily be seen with its subtly glowing plumage. Shossk waves Calt forward to stand next to the gently heaving mass of sparking feathers, just in case things went south. Shossk primes his specially prepared Dusk ball given to him by Iris and throws it with the same precision as Layl does in the other den.

Iris didn't know about the other end, but it appeared hers went as smoothly as they could have hoped. It became apparent while Shossk picked up the ball that the other end likely had a similar success. At least, if the lack of any battle sounds said anything. Without anything really better to do, she looked through Light's eyes and observed the rest of the cavern that was once home to the rainbow bird.

The cave is filled with odds and ends, shiny pieces of metal and glass that sparkle slightly in the dim moonlight that comes through the entrance. At the back, there is a large nest made from woven branches and covered with some sort of downy material. The walls are rough and pitted, almost as if they were gouged out of the islands side rather than eroded by water or wind.
