Once again, Iris was inclined to side with Shossk. She added in her own take on the whole reverse psychology business Layl mentioned as a reason to not choose a familiar area, "I don't think we should overthink this too much. If we choose someplace that looks familiar, then at best, we enter an area we're better prepared for. At worst, we enter an area that's just as mysterious as the rest. It's good to be prepared wherever we enter, but if we overthink it, then we might as well just go into the weirdest place, which would be the magical attic. Personally, I'm keen on avoiding it because I want to wait and see if I'll relearn some of the things I used to know. It'd be a wasted opportunity if I went exploring in there like I am now." Iris would have also liked to add that a bobbing jungle was plenty strange, even stranger than a clearly ominous castle in her opinion, but she refrained. Maybe her world was the only one where jungles didn't sway as a single unit.
"Um... As for my skill set...," Iris scratched her head as she thought about how to answer Shossk's question. She almost said that she knew quite a bit about, basically, magic and ghosts, but that was no longer true. If she had to describe where specifically she would function the best in now, then her answer would have to be, "As long as we assume all of these zones have Pokemon, I don't think I'll be better or worse in any of them. See, I'm good at... Well... I'm a Channeler and an Oracle with a healthy dash of newfound Pokemon knowledge. Channeler and Oracle was what I was called back home and I think this game calls them that, too. Try looking it up? If you can't find anything on it, then think of it this way... I can talk to Pokemon and I was born with a gift to see, see through illusions and see things that aren't in the same time and place. It used to be a problem when I was younger because visions would just hit me at random and I'd be out of it for who knows how long. I've grown out of it since then, but I also feel weaker than I should be, so I don't know if that problem has returned or not. Just letting you know. You don't have to worry about it because... ah..." That's right, Iris didn't have any of her old Pokemon with her, and there was no way she could trust Light to take care of her while she was out of it. Still, she couldn't just ask strangers to take care of her. Iris, who looked a little distressed for a moment there, quickly gave a cover-up smile and assured, "Well, yeah, you shouldn't need to worry about it. I might just freeze for a bit but I'll be back to normal in time. It usually won't take long. Ahaha." Hopefully, if her ability to control her once erratic visions had slipped, she was at least able to hold whatever post she was in when the visions struck. At least then she wouldn't have to worry the others even more by collapsing. Moving on, Iris talked about the other half of her skill set, "As for my starter, it's, I mean, she's a dark type with a move of the same type and the power, so she'll dish out some nice damage against the ghosts I expect to find in the castle level. Still, though, I stick to my jungle first choice.". At this point, Iris was picking death from the trees above over death from above, below, and the sides through ceiling, floor, and walls all while the lights were out. Of course, she'd need to face the latter eventually, but she'd like to do that with a tank, specifically Amy, on her team, or at least a Pokemon that provided ample light.

Layl heard what Shossk and Iris was saying, and guessed that they had no knowledge that some worlds changed who you are to make you fit in. Then she should probably explain, She gave a cough to attract attention to herself and began explaining. "I've done my fair share of world hopping, and I have to say, I don't trust the Jungle or the Coral Reef because those two seem the most likely to force us into different forms to fit in. At least the Castle and City seem like they have to have humanoids as their majority, so we aren't going to end up as...mermaids...How do their fins even work? Like I swam around as one and I still have no idea, at least turning into a lion was really cute, but the mermaid stuff just freaked me out!"
She shuddered as she repressed a memory, it wasn't her fault that adjusting to a new body was hard! She slapped her cheeks, no time to get lost in another flashback. "Sorry, I got off topic there, what I'm trying to say is, I think the most the Castle and City will do is give us a costume change, or maybe turn us into vampires, Halloween Town at least only did minor changes like that, Chistmas Town too..."
She coughed as she realized she was about to trail off topic again. "S-sorry, anyways, to go back to your original question, I've dealt with creepy castles, and technically I've dealt with underwater adventures....but I would rather not do that again, other than that though, probably the Attic? It looks like a magical place, and I know quite a bit about magic...Though it's strange looks makes me think we definitely shouldn't start there"

Shossk took a moment to consider that. It was true, entering this world had changed the game's participants. It was reasonable to think that entering any of these gates could alter them further.
Abruptly, Shossk turns to walk over to the AL terminal. "Willl entering these gates change us?"

The image on the screen flickers for a moment before switching to an image with a leering expression. “What? You worried that I’ll mess with your head? Your physical forms will not be affected by entering any of the Zones.”

Shossk nods, looking back up at Layl. "Our fforms will not be changed by stepping thrrough the gates."

Layl nods at Shossk, Al hadn't lied to them so there was no reason to disbelieve him until he was proven to lie. "Alright, it's nice not to worry about that, it was always a problem for me...Though I at least still recommend the Castle zone, Iris said Dark is a good type for that area for the....Ghosts?"
She turned and raised an eyebrow at Iris, not entirely sure if she was being literal or not. "Whatever you meant by that, I specialize in Dark Type damage now, It's called Shade Caller, and my Keyblade deals that as well, Due to my Arcanist class"

Shossk stares at the Castle zone. "Mmy bow would be useless against spirits. I would rely on my ssmall fire magics."
"My skillss would be be more limited in a castle. I cann scout ahead and remain unseen," Shossk states with no apparent irony, despite being a seven-foot tall bipedal lizard. "Veska has taught me to open llocks, though I understand little of traps."

Iris had initially just shrugged at Layl's warning. She repeated this shrug upon Al telling them that they wouldn't need to be worried about this upon entering these zones. Okay, so she was a lot more interested in this whole concept of transforming upon entering worlds than her little shrugs were letting on, but right now wasn't the time. Maybe later. It'd be a good campfire story: Layl's Transforming Multi-world Adventure. Then she remembered, "Oh, that's right. Yoko." It was kind of clear Yoko was meant to be a sort of weapons user, but would she be like Layl, who could mix elemental attacks into her weapons? If not, then that would leave Yoko in a hard spot against ghosts if she didn't have other side abilities. "Yoko, like Shossk said, normal weapons usually can't hurt ghosts," Iris asked, "so... well... I guess it's the same question that Shossk just asked. What can you do?".

Hearing her name being called, Yoko turned to face Iris and listened to her question. "What can I do? Well... I can make clothes, goggles, weapons, armor, and shields... and that's about it. I do have another class called 'Backpacker', but I can't make any sense of what it does. It looks like it boosts my skills? ... I think? ... I'm not really sure, but I do know that I've never had any experience with using weapons before, but now I feel like I know how to use them adeptly. I think it's because of that class, but again, I'm not really sure." Yoko herself looked really unsure on what her second class was supposed to do, and her concern was clearly visible on her face.
After a brief moment of respite, Yoko realized that she may have said a bunch of useless stuff, and so she decided to condense it into one sentence. "Basically, I can make stuff, and that's pretty much it. No magic or anything. Just plain, normal me," she shortly summarized, really selling herself short here. "So... I guess that means the Castle is a no-go, and you all want to save the Attic for later... so that leaves us with the Coral Reef, the City, and the Jungle," she then said, turning her attention to the three archways she just mentioned. After a while, her eyes settled on the jungle archway, which both Iris and Shossk seemed to be set on, and she mumbled, "I guess we could go with the Jungle first..."

Shossk considers Yoko. Why was she quiet about her answer? Did she wish to keep it a secret? If she did then she should not have spoken it aloud.
"Thenn it is decided. We will enter the Breathing Jungle. Perrhaps when we succeed you might request crafting materials," Shossk adds to Yoko. "It iss unlikely we will find metals for forging, unless we scavenge annother team."
"Are you ready to depart?" Shossk turns to the rest of the team. "Do yyou require rest? Have you gathered your arms and ssupplies?"

It seemed that there was an unspoken agreement to go by majority vote. Fine by Iris. The "Breathing Jungle." That was a nice name, but more important than the name was that Shossk asked if everyone was ready. <Now's the perfect time,> Iris promptly took the opportunity to excuse herself, "Actually, good question. Bathroom break!". She quickly walked to the bathroom before anyone could stop her, opened the door, and found that it was pristine, clean, and not flooded. One step in, then a pause. Iris turned her head around and added last minute, "Also, everyone who's Pokemon got hit even a little bit during training, make sure to use the terminal with the Pokeball on it. Click the red cross, put your Pokeball in the little tray that appears, and then press the screen again. That should heal your Pokemon. At least it didn't do anything bad to mine when I put it in." Public service announcement made, Iris continued on to do her business. Of course, she closed the door behind her.

Ah, that's fortunate. Shossk would have recommended a Short Rest to get the dartrix healed up, but if one of the terminals can do it instantly then all the better.
Shossk approaches said terminal and pokes the red cross. He then does as he'd seen Iris do and, after the tray presents itself, inserts the dartrix's ball into one of the slots.
The dartrix watches him do this.
Lizard and bird look at the machine expectantly.

The drawer of the terminal closes. A few soft beeps come from the machine as it seems to think before the drawer pops open once more with such force that it flings the sphere at Shossk. A large red X blinks on the screen a few times before it returns to the initial screen.

The ball bounces off his cloak before Shossk thinks to catch it. He blinks. He looks at the dartrix. "Havve you been healed?"
The dartrix looks down at himself and seems to consider. He looks back up and shakes his head.
Shossk looks back at the terminal for a moment. He looks down at the ball, thinking. He then tries something he'd also seen Iris do before - he points the ball at the dartrix and awkwardly presses the button on the front with his other hand. A red beam of light shoots out and recalls the owl back into the ball before he realizes what Shossk's doing.
Shossk tries again to insert the dartrix's ball into the terminal's tray, this time eliciting that jingle he'd heard before. Retrieving his ball, he releases the bird. "Have youu been healed, now?"
The dartrix's grumpy expression at having been surprised like that drops immediately, and the owl inspects himself. After a moment he gives an emphatic nod, his minor aches having been eliminated entirely!
Shossk nods, then walks back over near the entrance of the Jungle zone, dartrix trotting along with him.

While Shossk was busy figuring out the terminal, Yoko looked over to the bathroom door and thought about taking this chance to also go for a bathroom break. It definitely would be a good idea to go now while there was both privacy and cleanliness, but Yoko still had doubts about the "multiple instances of a single room" theory that Iris came up earlier. This would be a good chance to test that theory, but Yoko didn't want to run the risk of walking in on Iris. She could also wait for Iris to finish up, but she couldn't be sure on how long Iris would be. Still, it was the safer option, so she idly looks around the room for something to do to pass the time.
As her eyes passed over the AL terminal, she suddenly got an idea: she could ask AL how the doors work! It will also give her something to do while she waited for Iris to finish up! It was a win-win situation! Armed with confidence, Yoko briskly walked up to the AL terminal and spent a moment to figure out how to word her question. "Excuse me, AL? I have a question about these doors and the rooms they lead to. If someone goes inside one of those rooms and closes the door behind them, what happens when someone else opens up that same door?" she asked, hoping that she had worded it right and that the terminal would understand what she was asking.

A slightly annoyed face pops up on the terminal. "You already know the answer, you'll enter your version of the room."

"What kind of host would I be if I didn't give each of you your own rooms? But I didn't have a lot of space to work with in this room so I doubled down on the doors. Each of you are the key to your own personal version of the rooms. You are the only ones, other than me, who can open them. If they close nothing short of someone getting really whiny with me will open them. If someone else tries they'll get their personal iteration of that particular room. If you don't believe me, I recommend you try it. If not, don't bother me." The annoyed face switches to the basic face that's on the terminal when it is not in use.

Yoko was once again reminded of how mind boggling this place was, and had to take a moment to process what AL just said. We each have our own version of each room behind each door? Yoko internally repeated to herself, struggling to swallow the concept. AL had pretty much confirmed that Iris' theory was correct, but Yoko still couldn't believe it. Her gaze then quickly shifted away from the AL terminal and over to the bathroom door. She had to confirm it with her own eyes. She briskly walked over to the bathroom door and rested a hand on the handle, then with a nervous gulp, opened the door.

When Yoko swings the door open she finds a pristine version of the bathroom that is neither flooded nor occupied.
