Infynis 1. What gets Marcus into competiting or having an interest in them? All I read is how he loves wild exploration and finding new things to do and they all sounds like the opposite of sport, academic and Pokemon battle competition. Most of them are the same thing, especially sports. Sure, new situation arises in every matches and so but they are not necessarily fresh or exotic.
2. What part of Fiore region and in particularly, Summerland, that attracts Marcus over the Varius region? Of course, you don't know everything of Varius region, but just use your imagination to make up the two regions and compare.
3. How much is his family tie to Fiore region? Does he has relative there? Or his family is from there originally? I mean, you do mention a few childhood friends in Fiore, which means he has spent quite a lot of time over there.
4. I might not have covered it very well but there are Ranger classes out there. What makes him go into becoming a Pokemon Trainer instead of becoming a Pokemon Ranger right off the bat?
5. What makes him have the ranger dream, aside from his childhood friends in another region being rangers? You can explore the wild and so on as a trainer, there must be something he is looking forward to in the ranger business.
6. What is his family's expectation of him?
7. What are his parents' occupation? I would assume something with solid income based on how much they travel around.
8. You might have to pick another class for favorite class. I see "Apricorn Crafting" as more of a Keldeo exclusive since they are all about nature while the other three schools would just teach (modern) Pokeball crafting.
Arcran 1. If you are accepted, you might have to come up with a name of the Sarque family company. They would be the one that manufacture the region's trainer supplies. Probably has ties with the government too, that's some power right there.
2. Does he has siblings? I would assume no?
3. In your mind, how do other students look at him? Does he has many friends aside from whoever's in Delta Rho Mew? I would assume many who get close to him are for the gain and not genuine friendship? That and he keeps people at a distance. So, does he socializes for benefit too, like a upper class person he is, or he is more of a true anti-social on most part?
4. What is his relationship with the lecturers? Does he look up to them or appreciate them? or he just care for the knowledge and not the person?

gameofchampions 1. What makes him interested in Unova?
2. The banning thing probably isn't going to happen that way. You either pull him out of school or not. And string pulling isn't going to happen unless you have something that can force it upon the school. I think Isen either have to abandon his family for the school or something like that. And I see him as a student that not many teachers like because of his noisy parents.
3. Not sure if your parent's idea of hating trainers work in my setting. The government has a very strict enforcement on vandalism. Battles are largely done in stadiums and you will be fined hard if you are caught battling in the street and destroying any property of the government.
4. And you are not getting Pokemon Battling class at 12. Again, strict control and non-trainer are not allowed to fight with Pokemon. The elite 4 contender come to your primary school and sharing about his experience is possible.
5. If his parents refused to help him, you will have to come up with a reason as to how he is able to pay the tuition fee because they are relatively steep. Student loan is a possibility but they are only given to outstanding students and you have to work to pay it back now that you are a trainer.
madgenius 1. Would be interesting to know more about Lars than the sibling rivalry, like what makes him into a fitness nut and a dietitian. Is his family has this level of health awareness or just him? And so on. I mean, sibling rivalry is good and all, but I don't have much to ask just from that.
2. Is he a fan of any sport aside from Pokemon Battle and triathlon? Or he is more of a exercise and fitness guy?
3. Just a heads up that I will need more info on your sibling rivals if you get in.
seraphflonne 1. Unless Leon has a trainer background or is involved in fields that required a combat-proficient Pokemon partner, he cannot have a combat trained Ditto by law. Also, Pokemon are not allowed to attack human, so bodyguard is not exactly a Pokemon's role(unless it's a professional bodyguard's Pokemon against an offender). It's kind of like real life where a dog bite is a sue-able offense, only the "dog" are "all Pokemon".
2. I would assume Stella isn't much liked by majority of other people in the school? Keldeo is likely the chillest of all the schools out there and Stella is coming in with a Cobalion attitude.
3. More curiously, why is she still using her cool persona in school when everyone is a stranger to her? What does she really gain from doing that? From what I see, she is too used to that side of her, and came to school with that attitude, and can't really show her true self after that because of her peer perception on her. She is forced to embrace her iron lady persona since then. But I would like to hear your take.
oddeyes 1. Why she throw away her plan go to Keldeo to join Terrakion?
2. What's she like in the academy? Keeping everything to herself or constantly messing and bullying with other students? Hanging out with other rebellious students?
3. How does her parents really know her? Since you said she can act cute and innocent to fool her parents, I presume, yet she is also the black sheep in the family.
flarnith 1. As a 32 years old man, I am intrigued by his love life and view point on family. Does he has any desire to form a family but found no suitable partner or maybe he missed his chance here and there? Or he has no desire to ever form a family? No pressure from his parents and what not?
2. Has he in any way finds an interest in Pokemon battling throughout his life?
3. I am not finding a lot of information or characterization aside that he is a former goldsmith that wants to become a trainer. I would like to know more detail about him.
headlesskoko Yours is WIP so I will wait.
drallore 1. The government is not taking any chance when it comes to elementalists. They will find a way to slot the power-controlling device on him until he go to the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. And the waterproof bandages are required to be on all the time. You never know, he might morph into a shark one night and has the power to summon a tsunami -- they are not taking any chance, no matter how ridiculous their speculation are.
2. Has he, being an elemetanlist, bring problems to the reputation of his parents? Defamation can be a thing, especially when his parents are world renowned artists. Haters might create rumors like Finn being a bastard child with his biological father being a Water Pokemon and whatever. Or some illuminati theories that his parents are elementalists that have hide very well in the society and they are looking to create monsters and what not. Or they have traded their son's body and soul to an Evil Water Demonic Pokemon in exchange for their worldly talent. TMZ of the Pokeverse would be so into these kind of stories.
3. In your mind, how are his fellow Keldeo classmates treating him?
4. As he is 21, that means he enters Keldeo by 17 or 18. What is he doing between 15 to 17 if he is not attending school?
5. This somehow procs my interest. What's his takes on ugly things? Like how he define ugly? He being a monster himself and you also have Feebas in your wishlist and the two things aren't necessarily pretty by popular definition.
lichlord 1. My first direct question to the concept is where and how she gets money for Terrakion college. Like applying for them alone with no one to vouch for her, untracable through background check, unoblivious to social rules and being all out creep...the school is unlikely to just directly accept someone like this. She could be a living spirit or something. I would also like to know how she do with going back to civilization. How she adjust, and how she learn to adapt to the new environment.
2. I am not so sure about the medicinal aid thing. The thing is Varius is quite modern so clinics and hospitals are abundant. Between riding a train or walking to a nearby city and going deep into a creepy wood, it is unlikely for many to choose the latter. Also, Rangers have the the forest damage covered so it's not like many are trying to mess with the forest for no reason. This part would be so easily passable if this were a fantasy game.
3. Another part I have an issue with is the bug battle. As she is not an elementalist and doesn't seem like much of a threat in an actual fight - she is scary to human but Pokemon living in the forest probably are not going to percept her the same way - her saving a Turtwig alone from a lot of presumbly aggressive Bug Pokemon sounds impossible. To me, she either has to be more combat-oriented or have some Phantumps/Trevenants to back her up.
professorscamander Snag machine is a very interesting thing. It largely depends on your concept. The first idea come to my mind is an anti-hero who fights back against the criminal organization in his/her own way. Or maybe you become some kind of government secret agent or something like that. Snag Machine is definitely an illegal thing, no matter how and where you get one, and snagging is against the law.
One thing I am quite certain is that you cannot use snagged Pokemon in tournament. All trainer's Pokemon are registered and recorded in the database and what not, snagged Pokemon are other people's and you will be in prison if you are caught with them in your possession.
I probably have to see your concept before giving you an concrete answer. But I have run a variant of this game with a superhero twist and players there have to balance their "civilian" life as a trainer and their "superhero" life. So, if you want to playing a vigilante, it is fine by me.
TL;DR Give me a brief description of your concept and plan and we will see. It will save you time from writing a full application that might not get approved out right.
Shiny, which include typeshifted Pokemon, are rare and unusual.
