Oops, didn't see that the field was all ready. Posted!

And for what it's worth, with agility training giving a +4 to initiative, and being doubled from being mounted thanks to rider class, technically Canter's initiative is 23

I normally wouldn't fuss about it but with bite-attacks imminent flinching could happen so it matters!

Metal Sound is a terrible starting move, holy Arceus. So few 'mons actually have Special moves for the -2 SDef to matter...

Ponyta has ember, but Canter is statted as a physical attacker ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(Though to that point, mantyke does have bubble and Tidel IS a special attacker...)

Most of our 'mons are. Except for the Mantyke and Popplio.

Speaking of the aforementioned seal, it getting chunked to 1 HP with 10 defense is terrifying

Yeah, that tackle actually put an injury on Sarcourne. Roleplay wise, how are we handling injuries? Would a bone be broken or is there a gaping wound?

Sarcourne, by the way, actually does have a Special Attack. It's Snarl, but that would be nigh worthless against these dark types.

Injuries would vary, physical attacks like Pound and Tackle would break bones, physical attacks like Scratch and Slash would leave gaping wounds.

Let me know if anyone needs to disengage without triggering AoO, cause I can do that for you or your pokemon once in the encounter! Multiple people at once too.

Also, with a push 2 meters, can I push diagonally and then does it go 1 square or 2?

You'd need push 3 meters to do two diagonal squares, so you'd only be able to push them 1 square diagonally.

Sarcourne's Honedge will take it's turn once we know if the purple Poochyena is downed by that onslaught. No point in kicking a dead horse.

In the meantime, I'll be out and about trying to catch Lugia and Articuno in Go.
