TazukieThe Aipom is clearly injured by the hat, so much so it barely has the strength to knock it aside. It thumps it's belly, and a bruise from the most recent wound vanishes in front of your eyes, though the monkey looks slightly hungry again, it presses onwards, targeting Rook. 44Teo0dl1d20 AC2 Damage 2d6+20Distracted by this task, however, the aipom doesn't see the pokeball, and is clocked with it, sucked within. It struggles mightily, but alas, does not break free. You have captured Aipom! Rook gains 30 exp! Orin gains one trainer exp! Orin gains one Dex exp! Jamie smiles at seeing such a touching scene, not to mention that Skylar quite possibly got the shoulder idea from her. "Sweet Caterpie there, alright. I wouldn't mind catching one of my own later, but we'll see how that goes."
Looking back towards the cloud of sand in town, Jamie gets an amused look on her face. "So, I assume I don't need to ask where Orin went, then?"

"There are many others, but there's only one Scuttle~" He responded with a small chuckle, tilting his head to the side as he beamed. Scuttle seemed a bit surprised by the remark, but only responded with a chirp. When Jamie pointed out to the town, he opened his eyes and saw the rising plume of sand. "Y-yea, that seems like Orin's handwork... should we check up on him?" He asked, giving a small nervous laugh.

Orin let the pokeball fly before Rook's unconsious form hit the ground. Mixed emotions swirled within him, mimicking the sandstorm without; elation for the pokeball locking, saddness for Rook's knock out, and pain from his own injury. He recalled his friend and pick up his new one. Next he walked semi-stunned, picking up Rook's hat, placing it on his own head, sitting down, then laying down on his back. He just stayed there dazed as the storm petered out.

Soon after the storm subsided, one of the few adults in the town would be out to see what the hell had happened, and shortly after, Joy would be called. A pair of chansee would race with a stretcher, and Orin would be transported the very short distance to the center to be treated.

Orin was OK to walk, but it seemed, since all this fuss was being made, he wouldent fight it. He said, "really, I'm fine," but the Chanceys insisted. More than likely, he appeared alot worse being covered in dirt.
Both Aipom and Pawniard heal 2 injuries each, Pawniard has healed the max of 3 for the day

Shrugging, Jamie turns back to Skylar. "Eh, I'm sure he'll be fine. Steel types are tough, and I'm sure Orin's got some kind of metal for a skull as well. Besides, who would he fight in town, anyways? It's not like he'd go and try to beat Lizzie or anything." Jamie sighs at the name. "I almost want to go back and say goodbye again to the ol' Vespiquen, but she'd probably make me clean the house, or wash the dishes, or something like that."
Jamie puts a hand in her pocket casually, but almost immediately takes it back out, grabbing her net at the sight of a nearby Weedle, which she slowly begins walking towards. "Say, you gonna be alright out of the house too? It's not too late to give your folks one last hug, y'know."

"H-hey now... Isn't that a little mean? I mean he's stubborn bu-" Skylar tried to say, before his eyes widened a bit. "Oooh okay, yea no I agree." He finishing, giggling a little as the realization flooded his head. He remembered Lizzie the Vespiqueen, considering he used to always ask her for honey. When asked he was gonna be alright out of the house, he rubbed the back of his head in response. "Of course, they made sure they got enough hugs before I left." He added, trying to reassure her despite the small ping of hesitation. Now that he had Caterpie out, he might as well get the kit out and groom her up.

infomantisThe weedle is oblivious to the net, and the attached trainer, eating a tall stalk of grass. The stinger bobbing close to the ground as it nibbles.

Not even rolling for intuition, I'm not seeing through that.
"That's good to hear, Lizzie was never really the hugging type. Gave me a lot of advice, though I didn't really understand most of it. Pretty sure Speedy got an earful about keeping me safe or else, though." With two quick steps, Jamie closes the distance to the Weedle and swings her net down.

Jamie smirks, then frowns a moment after. "Hey, quit scratching up my net! This thing wasn't cheap, you know!" She quickly pulls a ball out and throws it at the Weedle before any further damage is done.

infomantisThe weedle never had a chance. That small bit of revenge was all it was gonna get, donk'd by the ball, it'd hardly get to struggle before the thing clicked. Jamie gains 1 dex exp! The pokemon will be sent on Discord.

Orin rubbed his arm where Aipom scratched it, "Thanks again Nurse Joy, happy to be a regular, and have you looking out. Im going for a walk, please ping me on my Pokedex when my pals are ready, and if there's anything I could ever do for you, pleas ask."
After stepping outside, he wiped the dirt of the lenses of his goggles and placed them back atop his head. 'Better reconnect with the others.'
Orin makes his way out of Startertown to the place where he last saw Skylar.

"And that's how it's done," Jamie says to no one in particular. Stretching, she walks over to a tree near where Skylar's training Scuttle before lying down underneath it and looking over to Skylar. "I think I'm gonna take a nap for an hour or so. You wanna train... uh, Spike? Yea, Spike is a good name. Anyways, if you want to train Spike for me while I nap, feel free. Scuttle looks like he could use a buddy, even if you don't bother training her." Jamie gently rolls the newly caught Weedle over to Skylar, before tipping her hat over her eyes and crossing her arms over her chest. "wake me up whenever you're done" she mutters.
Taking a rest until Orin comes back or Skylar decides to do something, will update HP values at the end of rest.

Skylar was a bit surprised by Jamie's request to train up her Weedle, which she named Spike. Before he could even respond, he saw the ball rolling towards him... and her falling asleep. "Honestly, you'd think she was a boy at times." He sighed quietly to himself, before calling out the Weedle. He gently picked up the bug and began to lightly polish its horn. "Easy there... just doing a bit of grooming~" He replied gently, as he continued to groom and play with the two bugs. Hopefully Orin was doing alright.
(Weedle gets half its level + 5)

Orin panned the horizon, it was easy enought to spot Skylar crouching in the tall grass. "Looks like you caught yourself a Weedle, Skylar," he called to his back.

Skylar looked up in surprised, his Caterpie on the other hand scurried up to the other side of his head to hide from the new person. "Oh hey Orin, no this isn't my weedle, its Jamie's!" He called back, finishing the last touches of the grooming.
