You place two of the berries pretty easily, vaguely “J”-shaped, pink Persim berries. The third, though, was a plump yellow colour with green spots. Maybe it was more rare, but you couldn’t put a name to it.
The window led out onto a small ledge, perhaps not the safest place to hang out, but unless you were distracted, there shouldn’t be any real danger to sliding along it. From there, you could probably climb either down to the empty alley, or up to the roof. From the window, even if you were to lean out, you couldn’t see anything interesting on this level. The building across from you is completely nondescript from this angle, essentially a big brick wall. From this distance, you think Steven might be able to jump to the roof (with you), but it’d be close...

Observing what they could from the window Tara looks up to the roof of their own building. "Hey Steven think that you could use a Vine Whip to give me something to hold onto in case I fall?" she asks her Pokemon giving him a gentle rub on the head. The Skiddo gave a nod before extending out a couple of vines to curl over the top of the roof. Holding on firmly. "Thanks bud, I'll help you up once I get there," she told him with a grin. Easing out onto the narrow ledge, turning she'd wrap the vines around her arms. She'd then start climbing up the outside wall. Concentrating on her footing and grabbing hold of the edge, dragging herself up the wall. If she managed that she'd help the Skiddo up the wall so that they could see around them without the walls of this building being in the way. "See anything out there?" she asks him as she takes a sweep of the area. Acrobatics Check to scale the wall with assistance. 14 Tara's Perception Check to scan the area. 17 Steven's Perception roll 8

You rather easily scale the vine up to the roof, perhaps reassured by your "safety net", even though it ended up being less than necessary. Steven was also able to climb up, especially thanks to your help.
With the two of you scanning the area, you don't think there's much that could escape your notice. There were a few straggling zombies milling about the streets, pretty much random, as far as you could tell. Of course, you could see the buildings you had passed to get here, and the plain-ish building ahead. Across the street was mostly dilapidated, small storefronts, but a ways off the road was a motel that seemed to be at least intact. Further down the road, you could see an intersection, and past that, fields and other greenery, including a forest. You can't see anything beyond that, but the monolithic building you can only assume is the "department store".
Taking a closer look at the buildings across the way, one in particular looks to be in... relatively better shape. You can't tell what it used to be, but it looks like something to do with mining, or maybe exploration, from the shape of the sign.
You also see what look to be birds of some sort, off in the distance. At this point, they're simply too far away to see any details, but you get the feeling they're about human-sized. Steven doesn't appear to have noticed them, at least not yet.
In the morning quiet (maybe still jarring, because Morlochta used to be much louder and more hectic), you can also hear at least one zombie banging on a door, somewhere below you. It could be that one caught your scent, or Steven's, and is trying to enter the office you vacated - the noise is very muffled.

Tara did much appreciate having her pokemon in case something were to happen. Now adays, you couldn't be too careful. After all, not any hospitals you could go to. Well you could, but you wouldn't get any help there. "Thanks Steven," she told the Skiddo rubbing his head. Taking in the view and the buildings she walked the rooftop looking down to the streets, it seemed like it'd be hard for zombies to get up here. And possibly a lil trouble for anyone with a functioning motor system as well. What to do now? That was important, it made her wonder if she was the only one left in the city. It'd make sense, why stay in an overrun place? Though it was also safe, in a way. "Alright... we should probably do more recon, sooo where to start first is the question," she pondered before digging out a chip. "So this side, we'll head to the motel. And, this side, we'll go to that store over there," she stated with a nod before flipping the item in the air and catching it to see the result. _N_OifHU1d2 1=Motel, 2=Unknown intact building. 1d2

Taking a look at the direct path to that building, it looks like you can get there without incident. The few stragglers are all too far away to reach you unless you really dawdle.
You think it would be possible to climb down directly, but there is also a fire escape leading back into the alley. A small detour, but definitely easier than climbing down. It would take longer, though... and who knows what might be hiding in the alleys?

"Welp Steven, wanna help me again?" she asks before grinning as the Skiddo allowed her to use it's vine to help descend down to the ground by the building they were on. "C'mon!" she called up to the pokemon watching it come down after her.
"Alright, let's get to the building before we get noticed," she told the pokemon before running along the street with it. Trying to keep out of sight as much as she could with crossing to new store. Not wanting to take any longer than she could run there.
