Seeing his Dragonair flagging badly, and Calyx barely even scratched by the Thunder Crash, he reluctantly concedes the match.
"Damn. That's some team you got there, Floyd. Most people can't dismantle my awesome Pokemon so easily. Hell, you barely even seemed surprised when I pulled out a dragon-type. They're still rare enough that most people are caught off guard. Guess I'll clear out then. Let you have the floor for whenever the Gym Leader turns up."
At this moment, the blizzard that had been surrounding the arena lifts, revealing a staircase that seems to lead up to the summit.

"I specialise in the steel type. Dragons just don't seem like much of a threat to a metallic monster. But thanks. I get the feeling you'll be coming back and winning tomorrow."
Floyd says to Brandon as he starts to climb the stairs.

To nobody's great surprise, the weird 'people watching' hermit is sitting at the top of the mountain. The part that may be a surprise, however, is when that old man transforms into a young woman in typical ninja garb, colored to match her surroundings. Her hair is a dark black, and she has violet colored eyes. She smiles at you as you approach. "Welcome, Aurelius Floyd, to the peak of Mt. Fuschia. My name is Anastasia Strovassi, and I am the Leader of Fuschia's Gym."

Leader Anastasia stands up, drawing a small knife with her left hand and a poke ball with her right.
"You are most welcome. I like to ensure all my opponents are at their best, despite the attrition challenge of the climb up here. Some prefer the extra challenge of facing me at less than full strength. The rules are simple: We shall each use 3 Pokemon in a Full Contact battle. Healing items are allowed if you wish to use them, but know that I adapt to you. If you heal, so do I. If you do not, then neither shall I. Additional items, such as weapons or utilities like smoke bombs (she chuckles softly) and the like are also allowed.
