Strigoi, already weakened from Ossia's critical hit earlier, is blasted yet again with psychic energy and then swatted out of the sky by Floyd's axe. It crumples to the ground unconscious. Ossia is taken down by the hailstorm, which ends shortly after. Floyd is (barely) victorious!
When the Gym Leader regains consciousness, she praises Floyd's skills and happily grants him the Hail Badge. Floyd gains a Milestone, 2 Trainer XP, 226 Poke XP, and 3,625 PYen.

Eitur throws out more spikes, making it even more difficult to reach itself or Atropa. Atrop leaps over a set of spikes to stand next to Eitur, throwing a vial of noxious gas at Floyd.

Eitur quickly swaps places with Atropa as Floyd's axe comes around, taking the hit for her. It activates the effects of its black sludge to try and recover some of the health it lost. Atropa suddenly turns purple and liquefies herself, slipping in between the spikes behind her to gain more distance.
Atropa used Acid Armor!
