The monkeys glance over at the Trainers watching them, freezing for a moment as they notice the humans, before going back to their play. It doesn't seem like they particularly care that they're being watched. They aren't acting aggressively or skittish, at the very least. ǟǵǻƦǩǧǴƦǹǫǫƦǺǮǧǺƦǺǮǫƦǵǨǰǫǩǺƦǺǮǧǺƦǺǮǫǿƭǸǫƦǺǵǹǹǯǴǭƦǧǸǵǻǴǪƦǪǵǫǹǴƭǺƦǹǫǫdzƦǺǵƦǨǫƦǧƦǨǧDzDzƦǧǺƦǧDzDzƴƦǘǧǺǮǫǸƲƦǯǺƦǧǶǶǫǧǸǹƦǺǵƦǨǫƦǧƦǹdzǧDzDzƦǸǵǻǴǪǯǹǮƦǖǵDZɯdzǵǴƴƦǟǵǻƦǩǧǴƭǺƦǸǫǩǵǭǴǯȀǫƦǽǮǧǺƲƦǺǮǵǻǭǮƴØ

Mica squinted at the ball for a moment and something seemed to click. Her face quickly became flush. "No no no! That is mean and bad! You are bad monkeys! You shouldn't bully other Pokemon no matter how round they are! Ooohhh this makes me so angry... You put that down or... or... or...!" Squirming and stamping, finally she unleashed a Pokemon. "Apex'll throw YOU around like a ball!" A sloth appeared, a slakoth more accurately. It gave it's trainer a bored look, then the three monkeys. Then it laid there.

Donovan looks at Mica with a confused look on his face, before sending out Aster at his side "Umm Mica...why are you getting so upset that these monkeys are playing with a ball?"
He shook his head and reached down to pet his Deerling on the head while continuing to speak "And what do you mean bully other Pokemon. They're the only Pokemon around other than ours"

Desiree looked similarly confused, but seeing as how Donovan had addressed the issue, she decided to simply wait for an answer. Is there something we're missing? She wondered.

As Mica unleashes her tirade, the monkeys briefly stop their game, looking at her, then each other, then Apex, then each other. Then they seem to chuckle amongst themselves, scampering further into the clearing, before the green monkey sticks its tongue out at Mica, and they continue throwing their object - with occasional glances over at the humans. MapPlace your Trainers anywhere on the southern road (yellow part), and you may release Pokémon from there.

"That ball isn't a ball at all! You have to look really hard to see it, but that's a Pokemon you guys!" Mica insists. "I'm positive I saw eyes! It must be terrified being thrown around by jerkish bullymonkeys! I'm gonna put a stop to it though... it's the bullies turn to get beat up today!" She tucks her fists in close against her body, a fire in her eyes.

A frown formed on Donovans lips when Mica told him the 'ball' was a Pokemon being bullied, but he still couldn't see it himself " Are you sure that's what you saw?" When he noticed how fired up she was getting, Donovan made up his mind to help. Leaning down he whispered to Aster " Alright, I need to to go and find out if that thing really is a Pokemon. But I don't want you getting too close too quick. Go in a bit slower than normal and try and match the surrounding colours as much as possible. If it is another Pokemon, then I want you to kick sand in the eyes of the one who's holding it and that'll be the signal for things to really start." He stood back up and pat Aster on the side, giving him the go ahead to start moving. Aster is moving 4 and also using Blender, just in case

Desiree took Mica's words at face value and her happy expression turned rather annoyed. She wasn't as angry as Mica, how could she be after all the energy she had expended yesterday being angry at people, but she wasn't in a good mood anymore. Seeing what was apparently a Pokemon being bullied only served to remind her of how her own Pokemon were easily defeated by Axiom the day before. As soon as she thought of that, she could feel the flames of anger burning within her once more. She was starting to get fired up! With a swift motion, she released Amprex from his Pokéball. "Alright you lot, stop what you're doing to that Pokemon, or we will stop you. I don't want to use force if we don't have to, so this is me asking nicely. Please leave that Pokemon alone."Desiree looked at Amprex, "Amprex, get ready to Overload your attacks!"Desiree's Charm: 15

The nearest monkey looks back idly when Desiree begins to speak, but decides to go back to its game halfway through. None of them really seem to have any care whatsoever in the opinions of the humans. Even the appearance of the Pokémon doesn't really seem to faze them too much, although the blue monkey scampers farther away from Amprex once it tosses its ball towards the green one.

Mica heads off the beaten path. "We warned them Apex! It's time for you to really go!" (Agility Orders + Training, Initiative +8, Overland +2 (5 Total).) Surprisingly, at her urgings, the Sloth rises on it's hind legs and takes a powerful swipe into the Pansear as it shoves it's way past, it's tired eyes set in an aggressive slant.
Then it promptly flops over again and lays there.

" Aster, I dont think you can get close enough yet. Let the red one taste some dirt in the meantime" Donovan calls out, his voice once more sounding colder and more analytical than normal. The Deerling responds by moving forward a few meters and skidding to a stop, sending a wave of dirt into the Pansear's face Aster is moving up and using Sand Attack on Pansear.

Desiree narrowed her eyes at the nonchalant monkeys. "Then we'll have to do it the hard way," she muttered. "Amprex, Thunder Shock on the blue one!"Amprex crawled forward on all fours rapidly and then unleashed a small but powerful bolt of electricity. Thunder Shock AC2 vs 3 Damage: 37 Electric Special

Amprex scuttles towards the monkeys, launching a shock towards the blue one. It barely manages to hit, but seems to cause serious pain. It looks like it's barely holding on. Aster follows it up by moving forwards, kicking up a cloud of sand into the Pansear's eyes, which causes it to flair around. Even with the sand, though, it still manages to land a clean (or lucky) hit on Aster, singing the Deerling. With the fight starting, the Panpour turns to Apex, and spritzes it with a strong jet of water, knocking the sloth around a bit, before scuttling away from the zappy lizard. The Pansage isn't really concentrating on the battle, busy tossing its toy from hand to hand, so the vine it lashes towards Amprex goes wide, as it starts to follow its wounded companion. With the fire monkey still blinded, it's easy pickings for even the slow Slakoth to get a shot in, causing the Pansear to hoot and holler even louder... but, in pain, rather than play. Panpour takes 2 injuries from Thunder Shock. It's super effective! Pansear is Blinded. Aster takes 24 damage from Ember. It's super effective! Apex takes 20 damage from Water Gun. Pansage misses with Vine Whip. Pansear takes 2 injuries from Scratch.

"You're doing great Apex, get the green monkey though! The green one! If you can see colors... if you can't see colors it's the one with the poofy hair!" Mica continues her mad rush into the encounter, Apex following after the Pansage despite a swipe from Pansear. On reaching it's target, rather then bringing those claws to bear, it yawns and plants it's face in the dirt, literally passing out from fatigue after it's singular attack. Mica watched the attacks fly with intensity, planning on drawing the pretty fires later. (Ember Chronicled for 1 AP as a Swift Action). "Aaaapex! You were doing so good... c'moooooooon..." Mica whines at her Pokemon, while it snoozes obliviously. Fishing a Pokeball off of her hip, she takes aim at the Pokemon in the Pansage's hands and gives it a hurl. As the embers singe Asters fur, Donovan's eyes flashed with anger " That's it. Aster, one strike. Go" The little pink deer nodded before dashing forward at full speed, smashing into the red monkey with more force than any time before, initially just hoping to send it flying a few meters. Upon watching the contact, Donovan nodded and looked to the other two monkeys " You have until I count to six before Aster goes after you. I'd give up before then" His eyes met with the green one and began to count " One" Aster uses Tackle

"Don't let up!" Desiree commanded. She had no interest in capturing any of these troublemakers, even though to some extent she could respect their pride and the freedom with which they seemed to live. She knew that wild Pokemon lived by the law of the jungle, where the strong preyed on the weak and so their actions weren't really that strange, but she was human, not a Pokémon and she didn't tolerate bullies. Amprex followed his Trainer's commands and relentlessly chased after the blue monkey, sending another bolt of electrical energy flying at it. Amprex scuttles after the blue monkey, and gets a direct hit, causing it to fall to the ground. That sends the other two into a small panic. The red one's panic ends shortly, though, as it gets conked out by Aster. The green one strikes at Amprex before fleeing with its toy, though Mica is able to get a ball off, which hits the... other ball in the thing's hands. There's a bit of surprise for the Pansage as its toy is scked into the ball, but the ball swiftly breaks, leaving the ball Pokémon in the green monkey's hands once more. Apex heads forwards, but, by the time it drags itself into position to attack, the green monkey is already gone. Panpour take 3 injuries, and faints. Pansear takes 2 injuries, and faints. Amprex takes 20 damage from Vine Whip. Mica hits with a ball, but it breaks.

" Take off after the Green one. Full speed. Try and catch it Aster!" Donovan spouts off, silently cursing himself for not having any way to fight at range with the Deerling, he would have to work on that sooner rather than later. The Deerling responds by leaping and bounding across the battlefield, making some distance but with a ways to go before it could even hope to reach the monkey. Aster sprints towards the monkey

Apex just really seems to not want to bother with any of it. Despite the damage he'd taken earlier, he seems completely unbothered. Content to just follow after the Pansage as instructed without making so much as a rude gesture at it. Mica was glad he was at least getting some exercise. (Truant Activates, Apex heals 6 Hp).
Mica continues her pursuit. "I'm not going to let you bully that Pokemon anymore, not with your vines, or your mean little mitts, or your mean friends! Nobody should have to get picked on for no reason!" The next ball sailed in an impressive arc, connecting again with the pokemon in the Pansage's grasp. (Chronicling Vine Whip)

Amprex once again scuttles towards the fleeing monkey, and launches a bolt of electricity, but it goes wide, the monkey snickering as it scampers away. It's too busy enjoying its mirth, though, to notice Mica's well-aimed Pokéball, which whacks the Pokémon that it clutches in its hands. This time, the sphere clicks shut, and falls to the ground. The Pansage seems to consider picking it up, but decides that continuing to run is probably the best course of action. Leaving the containment sphere behind, it jumps into the forest, quickly disappearing from view. When Mica picks up the ball, and then releases the Pokémon inside, a small Pokémon, about the size of her fist clenched, emerges. It's red, and has small black spots on its back, more easily visible now that it's in the light. Trembling, it peers up at Mica with large dewy bug eyes, and pulls its legs in tight underneath its body, while clamping its wings closely to its top. It seems frozen to the spot at the sight of the giant before it, not doing anything more than shaking in place. You caught a Ledyba! Level: 5 Nature: Timid Gender: Female Ability: Rattled Moves: Tackle, Bide, Baby-Doll Eyes
