Rather than stand around waiting, Ovelia headed back to her room to begin working on her armor for Mael. Hopefully the distraction would help clear her mind.

As the two of them stepped into the main room of the Velvet room they were met by the familiar french victorian era maid uniform of Veronica's. She looked at them as they entered, and smiled. Simply waving her hand and making them place their own on the same orb that they always did. With that two items flew off nearby hooks, and found their way to the two, lowering themselves in front of the two magical knights. The one that lowered itself in front of mael, was a black stretchy fabric, that looked like it was sown in a certain way to be similar to a bag. It had several runes etched into it, glowing with a deep purple color, a single red ruby in the center of the bag like item. The item that appeared in front of niyol was a thin metal dagger, with a rounded end, and instead of edges where the blade would be it was flat. two swirls came out of each side creating the handguard. With a nod Veronica explained, " Mr.Caligo, you're item is made from the skin of a Sableye. It's eye has been inbedded in the front. It's a book cover for your book of the abyss, it holds the ambient dark energy that you emit, and gathers it for expenditure. Be careful though, the stronger the energy, the less control you have over it. 12000 pokeyen." She then handed the next knife to Niyol and explained, " This dagger is called the wind waker, it'll allow you to control your less offensive uses of your powers much more quickly and easily. 12000 pokeyen." Mael's item is a book cover, that will take your off hand slot ( the one currently holding your monicle.) It can contain up to 3 charges. Each 24 hour period without using this energy, it charges. you may spend these charges in increments. for each charge spent, increase your Damage base by 1, but also increase the AC check of the attack by 2.
For Niyol i give you the wind waker. It takes up a hand slot, and allows you to use any non damaging flying type move as a swift action.

Mael took a moment to think. "Actually, I think I would like to look at an item you previously showed me. The pin that increases my magical strength? While this book cover seems interesting and powerful, I think the pin will serve my purposes more."

With a simple nod from the attendant, the book cover flew away, and a pin flew back, taking it's place in front of Mael.
"9500 for this pin." She informed him.

Hannah had been training hard, waving Jelenna off. And then she trained... and trained... She had expected Jelenna to come back, or at least for someone else to come by. After a while, she had started to wonder if she had missed something. She sent Plow Plow away and began wandering the base. Finally, she wandered past the meeting room, and caught sight of the unmistakable pointy shape of Jelenna's hat.
Hannah poked her head in, "Hey Jelenna, ya headed out a bit early from training an' I missed ya! Where's everyone else?" She strolled into the room, looking around and spotting something new on Jelenna's belt. "Oh! That's a cute stick ya have!"

Mael hands over the money and takes his purchase, stuffing it in a bag for now. "Thank you," he said, waiting for any response, before turning around to leave the Velvet Room.
He found the others pretty quickly, but Ovelia wasn't among them. "I'm going to find Ovelia," he told them, before going off to do just that. Once he got to her room, he knocked and waited.

Jelenna chewed on a sandwich as it hung from her mouth. She is still unhappy of their upcoming work, so she just mumbles with her mouth full. With a roll of her eyes, "Yeah, misshed you thoo..." She then nearly has a coughing fit as her new wand is pointed out. She scrambles to hide under her cape. "Gah! S-Shuddup! Ugh! Everybody went by the Velvet Room to get some new stuff. Someone also has money for you! Niyol I think! Now, go!" She grumbles, points in the VR's direction, with her cheeks flushed, and her pouting.

"Come in." Ovelia called from inside the room. Upon entering, one could see leather materials laid out as Ovelia sorted her tools to get ready to work. A bag could be seen on the bed with clothes in it. In a corner on top of a chair was a small pile of male clothing.
"You find out anything?" She asked as she continued setting things up.

"Aw, don't hide it! It matches great with ya," Hannah said, perhaps not what Jelenna wanted to hear. It looked like maybe Jalenna wanted to be alone again though, with how hurridly she pointed Hannah away, so Hannah left her to it. It took her a few attempts to get the directions right but she found the door, opening it to the blue room laden with magic and mystery.
"No matter how many times I come in here, I dun' think I'll ever get used to it appearin' wherever it wants even if th' room's too small... It's amazing!" Hannah said as she came in. She waved at Niyol, "Heya, I heard everyon' was in here but I guess it's jus' you an' me?"

Mael shook his head. "I'm sorry, but it seems that information isn't privy even to a member of the Velvet Room." He pauses. "He told me something else afterwards though, about how us Velvet Room members will be interested in 'the results'. I'm not a hundred percent sure this is related, with Igor you can never quite tell, but my guess is that Jonathan is doing something incredibly important at the moment, so important that even other Velvet Room members can't know about it. If that's the case, I'm assuming he would be at least equipped with the best that the Velvet Room has to offer. I'm sure he is as safe as he can be. Again, apologies for not being able to find out any real information."
Mael had taken off his reinforced cloak on the way to Ovelia's room and after waiting for a response, held it out to Ovelia. "Ah, here's my old armour. It doesn't look like much, but it's especially effective against magical attacks. I figured you could disassemble it to use in making my new armour. If you can't gain enough materials from it, I will reimburse you for however much extra you need to use."

Niyol held the seemly delicate wand in between the fingers of his hand. He recognized that it was similar that of a conductor's wand from that one rare instance Niyol got to see an orchestra perform. Admittedly it was a ragtag band of magicians that have fallen on hard time to land in the Burning Continent and the conductor moves his arms and hands in such a vigorous that it was nothing how Niyol imagined. But it was, all the same, fascinating at the time. Niyol gave a small smile at the memory and gave a soft sweep with the wand and felt the air around him quickly... awaken.
"A terribly interesting piece. I'm starting to feel as if this shop hold more treasure than any pirates booty known to man. I'll take the Wind Maker, Ms. Veronica and here is your payment..." Niyol place the wand gently to the side, after all it isn't a done deal till money exchanged hands, and placed the appropriate amount of money on the counter when he heard the other of their new party member entered. "Good day, Lady Hannah..." Niyol turned toward the earth mage with a smile.
"Or is it still morning? I haven't had a good look at the sun today I'm afraid. A few of our members were just outside the shop earlier but I wouldn't be surprised if they left to take of other things before our next mission. Ah, before I forget," Niyol snaps his fingers and retrieved the remains of the purse's contents he received earlier from Mael and playfully toss it to Hannah. "I suggest using most if not all of that before the next mission we'll be working with Rainbow Dragons for our next mission and the while the one we've faced yesterday where... what the word? Admirable? There are some that are, well, let just say they are all bluster with no sails."

"...I see." Ovelia said after a silent pause. She wasn't quite sure how to react to the information. The Velvet Room's boss had implied she had to be a member of the Velvet Room for him to tell her yet apparently he wasn't giving it to members of the Velvet Room either? "Well, I don't think that is the case, but one can hope." She said with a shrug trying to act like it wasn't that concerning for her. After all, he was just a friend...
As he held out the cloak, she took it and looked over it. "I'll see what I can do then." Ovelia said with a nod as she began work on attempting to salvage as much material from the cloak as she could.

"I'll leave you to it then," Mael said exiting the room. He walked all the way outside to do some training with his construct and then headed back inside to check on Ovelia's progress. Standing in front of her door again, he knocks.

After Mael had left, Ovelia had spent her time focusing on dismantling the cloak to get the most material possible to save her teammate some money. She had been able to do pretty well, converting the piece into just under half the heavy armor. Afterward, she had been forced to use materials to fill in the gaps of the rest of the armor as she applied stronger fabric to strengthen it against physical blows in addition to the existing magical protection it had. Once the woman had finished, she looked over the cloak and tapped her dagger against it to check the strength. She looked closely at where the dagger had been tapped against it and nodded satisfied at the extra protection. Then she had drapped the strengthened cloak over a chair before she pulled out the dagger that the Velvet Room had sold her. She looked over at the blade and watched her magic flick between the gap. It was great for channeling her magic, but the slit in the center and the alloy by itself made it a poor option for actually stabbing with compared to her normal throwing dagger. She held the electric knife and the throwing dagger in each hand as she looked between the two trying to contemplate the best way to transfer the magical abilities of the Velvet Room's blade into her superior crafted and better balanced blade. It would be risky to do so due to the frail nature of the Velvet Room blade, but after a moment she was finally ready to begin. She began by removing the hilt from the Velvet Room's weapon as all she needed was the blade and alloy. Then, she attempted to forge the metal and shape into her own blade giving her throwing dagger a trim around the blade with the new alloy. After a bit of time working and a few close calls, Ovelia had finally transferred the material to her new blade and let out a sigh of relief and nodded. She held up her upgraded throwing dagger and sent a bit of electricity throw it and watched it conduct. Satisfied it would hold a charge and glad that it didn't seem to be heating up to melt the blade, she re-sheathed the blade and then focused on her sword. When she had first crafted it, she had still been learning. After gaining more experience crafting her dagger, upgrading her armor, shaping the obsidian bracers, strengthening Mael's cloak, and now combining two daggers, she definitely could tell some ways to improve her sword. She applied various upgrades using the things she had learned as she improved the quality of the simple blade into a fine beautiful weapon. Just as she finished, she heard the knock on the door. "Come in." She said as she looked over the fine blade admiring the quality of her work. She glanced around and grabbed a torn up piece of leather from before and slid it across her blade to check its strength. Light armor dismantled for 2120, scrap used for heavy armor. Heavy armor crafted. 5000-2120=2880 spent. Throwing Dagger and Velvet Room Lightning Knife combined successfully. Short Sword upgraded from "Simple" to "Fine" for 1k. Bleed! added but not yet unlocked.

Mael walked in after getting approval. "Hello!" he greeted Ovelia. "I was curious about whether you had finished with the armour? Also, was what I gave you enough material to craft the armour? If not, I'll reimburse you for any excess material you had to use."

Ovelia stood up from where she had been working and sheathed the dagger and dropped the test piece of leather on the ground. She moved over toward the chair she had draped his cloak over. "I have strengthened it with extra lining to resist physical strikes in addition to the basic cloak's magical resistance." She explains. "Due to the craftsmanship of the previous version I had some extra material I could move around, so the only extra cost was about 2880 worth of strengthened materials." She handed him the cloak and then held out her dagger. "Would you care to test it?" She asked confident in her work.

Before Mael takes his cloak and the dagger, he counts out 2880 and puts it on Ovelia's table. He then takes the items. "You want me to stab the cloak?" He asks, just to be sure. He's not familiar with how blacksmiths test their armour.

"Well it isn't indestructible. Nobody is that good. It's resistant to physical damage though. I meant more either a light stab or a slash." Ovelia clarified. "Something that would show you it's stronger than it was. I tested it earlier, I'm just letting you test it since you paid for it."

Mael nodded and tests the blade against his cloak, to incredibly satisfactory results. "It's perfect, thank you very much." Mael smiles a little at Ovelia. He hands her back the blade. "I have only one more thing to do before I'm ready to leave for the mission." He looks conflicted for a moment. "I wanted to try some 'smithing' of my own, in combining the effects of a pin I got from the Velvet Room with a Quick Claw. I'm slightly worried that I'll mess up, but I believe the potential benefits outweigh the potential detriments. Anyway, by the time I'm done everyone should be ready to leave so that we can get this show on the road so to say."
Mael returns to his room pulls out the pin and Quick Claw, places them on a table and begins working his magic on them, trying to lift the magical effects from one onto the other by focusing a number of spells while breaking off a piece of the Quick Claw and adding it to the pin.

As Mael transferred the enchantments over from the claw to the pin, he could feel the magic flow, and it started to move well. Though it wasn't long before something began to feel strange, he wasn't used to it an the magical stream slightly slipped from him, he felt some of the magic from the claw start to weaken and siphon off. With a quick mental adjustment he was able to fix it but the claw stayed spent. You combine the two, but the roll was low enough that you'll lose a little bit of initiative. The pin now grants last chance with dark, and +7 initative
