Rei's shield bash takes Aislinn in the face and sends her sprawling. A massive aura of dark energy emerges from her body and floods into her remaining Apricorn Ball as Houndoom is taken out as well. First, Umbreon returns to the field. Then, a Weavile emerges, far from the fight. Weavile is surrounded by this massive aura. An aura that Rei has seen only once before in battle. When Laurel's Sharpedo transformed into a more powerful state. Oh. This must be what Celebi called 'Mega Evolution', except this seems to be something granted by D'Mara. Weavile transforms, becoming slightly larger and bulkier.
Holly takes advantage of the brief reprieve to apply a Hyper Potion to herself.
(Weavile's Standard Action is to Mega Evolve)
Murkrow zaps Rei, stiffening her muscles.
Thunder Wave cannot miss. Paralyzes target.
At Holly's instruction, Cacturne dashes over to smack the Murkrow out of the air.

Rei resolves, now that Aislinn is down, to go help Holly... and she does! By being the new target. She gets paralyzed but still manages to hold a shield up to the attack to stay up. Alligaod keeps attacking while Rei switches targets to one of the new pokemon surrounding her. Rei uses Cheap Shot vs Murkrow

Feeling marginally better now, and with that wonderful food Rei made still slowly restoring her strength, Holly makes her way up to the Umbreon and gives it a good whack from Honedge.

The attack misses Alligapod, who continues to fight back. And now that the tide of the battle seems to have turned back, Rei moves to keep it that way. She raises her shield and makes a battle stance. Rei binds Stalwart Bastion! While bound, Rei and all cardianlly adjacent allies gain 8 DR
Rei readies her shield, granting the 10 dr and 1 evasion to Holly instead.

Rei manages to finish it off, allowing Holly to finally relax some. She goes to grab her bag and dig out some healing items, applying them to Honedge as Cacturne just lets the remnants of Rei's dumpling finish restoring it. She looks at Rei, then glances towards where Zoey, Clay, and Tiki are fighting; her silent question hanging in the air.
