Rei - Solo RP & Special Missions

Holly blushes and giggles, a wave of affection racing through both parties' minds. "Well, you are very pretty. The only reason I mention your height is because you're literally the tallest person I've ever seen." She rubs her shin. "Also, it took me a minute to get used to the sudden height change..don't know if you heard that crashing sound earlier." Rei did happen to notice that the desk in the middle of the room was slightly askew when they re-entered. Probably the thing that "Holly" crashed into.

Holly nods in response to the question. "Yes, I'm fine. I just tripped was all." She rolls her eyes at "Rei". "I thought I was doing a good job with it! When I remember to do it.." She protests. While 'Rei' brushes 'her' hair, Holly starts playing with her 'own' hair absentmindedly. "So... we obviously switched bodies somehow... any idea how to change back?"

Holly does hop up on the desk and sits next to Rei. "I guess it's not that bad, but I still wouldn't want to stay like this forever. Probably not an issue while we're just exploring down here, but if nothing else, it'd be really awkward to explain to anyone else." She glances over her shoulder at the map. "Was this what you wanted me to see? What is it?"

"Holly" leans over onto "Rei", nearly toppling over because she's not used to the height difference being on her end. She rights herself, giggling a bit. Honedge has not said another word since "Rei" and "Holly" reunited in the hall, likely content with knowing that, seemingly inexplicable body swap or not, 'Her Grace' is safe. Even so, it is ever-present inside of her 'mind', which is likely really weird to Rei. It doesn't intrude upon her thoughts, it's merely 'there'. With leaning on "Rei" not likely to work, she instead pulls her love closer, putting an arm around her.

Holly kisses her right back, but makes sure not to linger too long. This isn't exactly the nicest place for intimacy. After enjoying the moment for a bit, Holly looks into "Rei's" eyes.

"So, you got your giant map, and there doesn't seem to be anything else in here anymore. Want to keep exploring, or should we head back up? We have been down here for awhile, after all."

Holly pops off as well, slowly adjusting to her 'new' height and they walk off together again. Hand in hand. After much more exploring, and many more false turns, they return to that ladder that haunter discovered. Following it up leads to a single hallway, which eventually leads to a set of double doors. Between Haunter and Trevenant, they are able to remove the door bar and allow access to the room. This room has a map identical to the one Rei found in the private office, but it is much larger, clearly meant for directing multiple groups of people, based on the little markers sitting atop the map. There are multiple desks in here, some with odd-looking devices that neither Rei nor Holly can make heads or tails of (magical, long-range communication devices).

If this truly is a "Poacher" base, then they were far better organized than Rei could even have fathomed. There is absolutely no way their little group of 3-4 would have been able to storm this place, even if they'd managed to find it. It might have been feasible if it were minimally staffed, but the sheer size of it makes any invasion seem nigh-impossible without having spies to map it out or get you around.

Perhaps the smaller one in the "office" was for a commander or overseer to personally plan out strike points before giving the go ahead to the group at large? That's what it seems like, if one were to consider all possibilities. Regardless, seems like this is where most missions or whatever were planned by these poachers. Rei has never seen a device like this before, and has no real idea what it could be for. Best guess is a communications device, since Carrier Pidgeys can't relay large messages (due to the tiny size of the note), and such methods would be easily detectable. If this map is to scale, the way it seems, runners with messages would also be inefficient. Without knowing how to make it work though, there's no way of truly knowing what it is.

Holly raises an eyebrow. "Really? 'Holly's Heroes'? Sue you don't want to call it 'Rei's Razors' or something?" She asks with as straight a face as she can manage.

Holly just turns red and goes quiet for a moment. "L-let's just get out of here, yeah? I'm sure Kopi is concerned that his nest hasn't returned yet."
