Marking was a good idea, and Rei commends Holly on it. (And commends for helping them not get lost underground!) That actually gives the idea for Rei to actually begin mapping out the area with her sketchbook, trying as best as she can to get it to scale. (With the crazy long hallways, it's a bit difficult)
Once she's drawn what they've explored so far, Rei opens the door and shines her light inside.

Rei marks down the dead-end room before taking a quick look around to see if anything was left behind. Finding anything or not, Rei will head back down the hall and take the first right she sees (which would have been the 3rd 'left' before). Keeping one continuous direction, going right, should hopefully in conjunction with the map get this place explored without them getting turned around.

Holly follows close behind Rei as the Umbreon siblings scout ahead. This hall ends much sooner than the others, but in a dead-end after another right turn. There's probably a few dead-end halls around here just to increase the confusion of someone wandering aimlessly.

Rei makes a mark of the dead-end hallway on her map (It doesn't exactly have to 'stay' a dead-end hallway if they do take this place) and turns around and takes the first right she can. She's hoping to find something interesting, or at least have a full comprehensive map of everything.

Turning back from the dead-end hall, Rei finds herself back in the 'main' hallway, as there were no other right turns before the dead-end. After a few times getting turned around by halls that Rei or Holly remember already exploring, they eventually find their way into another, unexplored hallway that ends in a new door. This one is not barred like the mess hall was, but opening it reveals a tight, spiral stairway leading down.
Choose an Option
1) Head Downstairs
2) turn around and try to take the next right turn
3) Talk to Holly
4) ??

The staircase goes down for ages, and only the forward scout Umbreons allow Rei and Holly to avoid unsprung traps on the way down. Even so, the stairs continue down. On and on they go, until Rei begins to fear that it's merely another clever trap, like that thief in the woods. At long last, however, they reach a new door at the very bottom. Holly clings tightly to Rei, unnerved after being in such a narrow place so deep underground. She won't run, not if it means abandoning Rei, but she's not comfortable being here anymore.

Rei marks down the traps and their locations in case they need to disable them later. She puts an arm around Holly's waist and holds her close, to calm her. In truth, their connection is making her just as nervous. She tries her best to convey bravery back (As well as confidence that they are gone, after all, there's no food down here and the place seems abandoned), and then Rei opens the door.

It's not even the fact there might be other people down here, it's just being underground. She's a ghost, not a ground type! Sure, she lived in a cave, but the cave didn't go underground. It was just a shelter. She tries to be brave, but she's not doing a very good job of it, which just makes Rei nervous too. It's especially frightful when, as Rei pushes the door open, there is a loud clang and a screech as a trap set into the doorway fails to activate. Sure, this confirms that nobody has done maintenance on the traps in some time, but it makes it no less terrifying! Holly nearly topples over backwards with Rei when the sound gives her a fright.

"Ah!"
Rei nearly goes with her as they both jump back as the trap goes off. After a moment of them just breathing, Rei looks back up.
"Whoooo, ok. The trap is broken. We are fine, we are fine."
She nervously laughs (Or tries to laugh it off, that could have really hurt them) before stepping in and shining the light to scan this room. There must have been something worth protecting.

This room seems to be an... armory? There are empty weapon racks and armor stands all around. Seems whoever was here last made sure to clear the place out.

Rei has the two Umbreon scout inward while she steps in, one hand intertwined with Holly's. She lifts the lantern and looks around VERY carefully. If anything of note was left here, this was probably one of the most important rooms around.

Y'know that old saying 'All roads lead to Saffron'? Well, that seems to hold true for this armory as well. Multiple doors appear to lead in/out of here on this level. Rei finds a small cabinet that seems to be labeled with runes that she doesn't recognize. Possibly it's some sort of code, but the cabinet itself is empty but for a single vial of liquid. The vial is completely sealed, and is labeled with a different set of runes.

Rei looks at the vial and the label.
"Whoah."
She looks at the vial and immediately Rei is reminded of her fight with the poacher and the large, dangerous snake she had to fight against. She feels a bit tense again, but picks it up. Something like this is what she was hoping for. She pockets it and continues to search. This vial must be all that was left.
"Ok, this seems to be all that's there. At least in here. Let's see where these doors lead."
Rei flips to a new sheet for this new floor and opens one of the doors.

Heading to the Western door, Rei is more prepared for any traps. This door, it seems, does not have one, however. Or if it did before, it's been disabled already. Either way, this door opens into another long set of hallways.

Rei opens and tests the other two doors and sees what's behind them before trying the first one. Make sure they aren't single rooms before trying more winding hallways.

As Rei opens the north door, Holly suddenly tackles her to the ground to avoid a crossbow bolt that fires from within the room. The room itself is little more than a closet, with the trap likely meant to deter any would-be explorers. She suggests that in the future, her ghost pokemon, like haunter, should check to make sure the doors are safe to open. Haunter might not see any traps within the doors themselves, but he can at least check for more obvious ones like the crossbow trap.
The east door is identical to the west, leading into a series of long hallways.

From her place under Holly after the tackle, Rei points out that it's probably for the best if they do that. Rei heads over to her original door (West) and heads out, using her right technique again. This place is 'huge' and they may not get it fully in one go, but Rei's not tired yet, and she's determined to explore the place fully before it can be used as a base, at least. If the still-unsprung traps are any indication... if she just 'sends' people down here, that might be bad.

In this hallway, there are no paths on the right-hand side as you leave the armory. Instead, the "first right" would be the door directly in front of you after several minutes of walking.
