Scrafty somehow manages to divert the blow just enough to stay in the fight. It turns around and sinks its teeth into Red Child's leg. It leers at Toppo in the meantime.

As Scrafty bites down on Red Child, Clay feels the pain surging through his bond with the Arcanine - but he's learned a few new tricks. He siphons off some of that pain, and spreads it around. The connection he's forged to Liepard seem like an excellent place to put it, and Liepard's own resistance to Dark moves helps bleed off still more of the injury.
"C'mon, buddy, we're not out of this yet! Let's keep going!"
Now that he's shaken off the Liepard's influence, Clay looks around the battlefield. Zsa Zsa seems to be doing just fine; apparently Liepard saw Clay as a bigger threat and chose to focus on him. On the other hand, that Greninja seems to be giving Tiki and Toppo some trouble...
Clay bounces up again and comes in on an angle. He swipes at the frog's feet, too swiftly for even a slippery ninja to evade, forcing it to pick its movements more carefully. "Need some help?"
When Red Child is damaged, Clay activates Pain Dampening! Red Child does not take damage from Crunch; instead, Red Child and Liepard each lose 18 Hit Points.
Clay uses Splash! +2 Evasion Clay uses Aerial Ace on Greninja! Aerial Ace cannot miss. Crit check: AEBXMIfY1d20 3d8+37 Physical Flying damage Clay activates Harrier! Greninja's Focus Band protects it from Toppo's attack, but Tiki's blast of water is enough to finish the job. Replacing it and Scrafty are a Sharpedo and a Shiftry.
Tiki's Aurora Beam is fired at the Shiftry, who is closest.
Shiftry tie: 1d6 Toppo tie: 1d6 Zoey tie: 1d6
Shiftry lines itself up and blasts Zoey, Toppo, and Tiki away with a powerful gust of wind.
Whirlwind AC 2 vs 1d20 All legal targets are Pushed 8 meters minus their Weight Class. Connection: Blow Away - All targets hit by Whirlwind are Pushed an additional 2 meters and lose two Ticks of Hit Points.

Clay drops flat when the Greninja turns on him, ducking under the blast of water. That could have been ugly. Tiki's beam takes the thing out - and then far too many people get blown away by the Shiftry's opening move. Oh, that's not fun.
And what's even worse is the shark circling behind Red Child. "Get out of there, buddy!"
Unfortunately, with his muscles still twitching from the Liepard's Thunder Wave, that's not really a wonderful option. It would be hard enough for him to extricate himself from between the Shiftry and Sharpedo without exposing himself to attack, let alone to do so while paralyzed. Clay frowns, then pulls out Red Child's Pokéball and recalls him. Instead Baloo rears up on the field, pounding his heavy paws together meaningfully.

Somehow, this only makes ZsaZsa stronger! Pride Ability: If suffering from Burn, Paralysis, Poison, or while Frozen or Asleep, the user's SATK is increased by 2 stages. While not suffering from any of these conditions, the user loses any stages gained in this way.
ZsaZsa breathes a stream of flames into Liepard's face.

Still wary of getting back into the fight directly in his current injured state - especially after Greninja nearly knocked him off his feet - Clay hangs back and channels his energy into Baloo, instead. He lets out a low, rumbling growl that sounds like it would be too deep for his slight frame. "Okay, big guy. Go for the one in the back! Let him have it!" He takes a deep breath and clasps his hands together, feeding energy into a red aura that surrounds Baloo's paw like balls of flame.
"Goro! You got it, boss." Baloo grunts in assent and stomps forward toward the Sharpedo. Clay's directing him there since Tiki and Toppo seem to have Shiftry boxed in and ZsaZsa is still confronting Liepard. He raises one mighty fist and slams it down on the Sharpedo.
Clay Channels Baloo and uses Spirit Boost (Attack) Baloo uses Hammer Arm on Sharpedo! AC 3 vs 6OhwURBJ1d20 4d10+50 Physical Fighting damage and -1 Speed CS to the target1d20·4d10+50

The Sharpedo's teeth leave an ugly purple-tinged bite mark on the arm Baloo shields himself with, but the blast of ice misses him entirely as he steps to the left, dodging quite gracefully for such a bulky Pokémon. Clay winces in sympathetic pain, but there isn't that much more he can do to help - the melee around Shiftry is between him and Baloo now. "C'mon, buddy, keep at it. Try again!"
Speaking of the melee around Shiftry, Clay sends out another strand of power toward Toppo and snorts in imitation of the Tauros. "Hey there, charger. You're doing a good job, but let's give you a bit more oomph, huh?" A reddish aura starts to surround Toppo's horns as Clay lends the Tauros some of Baloo's brute strength.
Baloo grunts in pain as the Sharpedo's venom burns into him, but he's just getting started. Since the Sharpedo dodged his overhand blow, this time he slams his whole weight against the fish, hoping to pin it down and keep it from zipping around so much.
Clay Channels Toppo Clay uses Spirit Boost (Attack) on Toppo. Toppo gains +8 bonus damage on Physical attacks.
Baloo uses Body Slam! AC 2 vs AQXxwxbf1d20, Paralyze 15+ 2d10+45 Physical Normal damage1d20·2d10+45

With Tiki out cold, and Toppo seriously hurt, two more of Tiki's pokes replace them. Heart, with all of her floof, flings out some stars directly at the bad shark.
