Violet casually takes a cup from the water cooler, and fills it with cold water. She takes it back to an empty seat, opposite the detective looking man and his Wobbuffet. She takes a small sip of the water as her nerves continue to build, switching her focus instead to picking up one of the more reputable-looking newspapers and listen to the TV, letting the water cup sit on a nearby coffee table. She'd been out of the city for a while after all and hadn't paid much attention to it while away: that was partially one of the points of the holiday, after all.
She does overhear that detective looking man talking about 'feeling as though we're in serious trouble' to his Wobbuffet, and can't help but empathise. Maybe it was because of the strange feeling, but she lets slip a "You too?...", half in response to the man and half an exasperated comment at the air. She realises that she's just said something weird, and attempts to look as though shrugging it off.
Well, there has to be some reason why someone else (who isn't hospital staff) would be here so early demanding to speak to reception...

Leonardo adjusted the brim of his clothing as he pretended to listen to the woman. Once she was done, she asked if he needed anything else. With a small shake of his head, he bent down to pick up his briefcase. "No, I believe that's all. Thank you for your help." He simply said with a simple as he grabbed the briefcase and walked off. Snook quietly followed behind him, but not before taking one last look at the people nearby. With a semi-visible huff, he quickly turned his attention back to Leonardo. The duo went through the double door and walked down the hallway until he got to the elevator. When the elevator finally came down, he was relieved to see that it was empty. That meant he could further plan with his team. The duo walked in, and quietly waited for the door to shut.
"Styia, your turn is coming up." Sebastian said, losing the accent and the mannerisms he had before. At first, it seemed like he was just taking to himself... until his shadow began to move. The shadow simply formed and deformed, like water at boiling temperature. With a smile, he mentally prepared himself to become Leonardo once more. 'Following' the woman's instructions once more, he headed right and followed the hallway until he reached the door. He quietly gauged how many people were there, before reaching for the door knob. Once the rattling of the lock was made present, he began to dig for his paper. He quickly assumed a look of exasperation as he pressed his back against the door.. In reality, his was simply directing attention to himself so Styia could move away from his shadow into the office room.

The receptionist continued smiling until 'Leonardo' was out of sight, then dropped the facade and sighed softly before picking herself back up to call up the older gentleman with his oddly-dressed Wobbuffet (it wasn't the strangest pokemon outfit she had seen though). "Sir, I can help you next! What can we do for you today?"
West Wing Side Entrance / R&D Department First Floor 6:30 AM
It took a while for another person to approach the entrance, giving Nate and Skip enough time to prepare for their little "game". The next person to open the door, a middle-aged man wearing a button-up, short-sleeve plaid dress shirt, yelled out in surprise as Skip scurried past his feet and jumped out of Nate's way while simply staring speechlessly at the two running by him. It was only after the door began to close that the man realized what had just happened, and he grabbed the almost-shut door and shouted inside, "Wait, you can't be in here without permission!"
Entering from the employee side, the R&D division of Redias had a stark contrast in design from the public parts of the building. The walls and doors in the immediate corridor were all an off-shade of white, and at the end of the corridor were another pair of metal doors similar to the entrance, though there wasn't a card lock on this side. Nearby the side entrance on the left were two small elevators and a windowed door leading to a flight of stairs. At a quick glance, Nate can see that at least a few of the doors on the first floor are to laboratories, according to the nameplates.

Sebastian's plan worked like a charm as Styia moved smoothly into the shadowy, empty office. It was a typical office set up, with a bookcase filled with volumes of texts and binders on one side and a desk with a computer in the center. There were four cushioned chairs for guests, a few more than usual with Hemlock being quite popular as the director of augmentation research. The walls were covered with plaques, framed certificates, and one diagram of the inner workings of an arm augmentation, the same synthetic muscle integration that Sebastian possessed. On the desk, a loose piece of light blue stationary paper stuck out from everything else.

Zef stopped for a moment and looked at the girl. "So someone else has this eminent feeling of dread.. When did you feel it may I ask? Any specifics onto your mental state currently? Also did you feel compelled to come here or were you already here?" He rapid-fired off questions but at the same time kept his tone slow as to not overwhelm her. "Forgive me I'll speak to you again in a moment." He approached the front to speak as he was called, Wobbuffet in tow. "Good evening, I am Detective Zef. Private Investigator to clarify. I currently have some suspicions that I need clearing up. Has anything bizarre happened lately or anything out of the norm, no matter how minuscule the detail."

Styia took an initial look around the office, knowing how little time she really had left. Of course, this wasn't the first time they had to pull something like this off. The best she could do was simply grab something out of the ordinary and bring it back to Sebastian. The award phased her little, instead her eyes were drawn to the light blue piece of paper. Without making a single sound she slid her way over, crawling up the desk until she reached the edge. A shadowy tendril began to pull the paper until it came lose. Once it was in her possession, she slid back the way she came, sticking to the darkened parts of the room before exiting underneath the door frame. Once she came into contact with Sebastian, she climbed her way up his back as the paper slid down to the floor, signaling that it was his turn to act.
Sebastian continued to play the part of the fool, scrambling to find the paper as he muttered pleas and profanities under his breath. That is, until he felt Styia climbing up his back once more. With a easy movement of his hand, he dropped his decoy papers as they scattered across the floor. With a sheepish smile to anyone who was watching, he quickly began to gather up the papers... including the one Styia grabbed from the office. With a huff and a blush, he quietly placed his 'finalization' papers on the shelf before ducking away. He began to look for an unoccupied spot to read the blue paper.

Lobby 6:20 AM
The receptionist went rigid at the mention of Zef's occupation and fidgeted with her hands as she replied tersely and deliberately, "Detective, I'm afraid that even if there recently was an incident deserving of your attention, I wouldn't be allowed to discuss it to any extent as per the hospital's privacy policy. I'm sure you understand." The lady paused, glancing around nervously before continuing, "Is there anything else I could assist you with, or will that be all today?"

The messily handwritten memo ended with an illegible scribble of a signature at the bottom, one that definitely isn't Hemlock's as Sebastian had seen his before.

Such a serious reply from the detective caught her by surprise, feeling a little relieved that someone else felt this way, but still doing nothing to solve why. In fact it made her more nervous: what could be happening to cause not just one, but two, and perhaps even more, people to feel like this? But he is distracted by the receptionist before she could respond. As the conversation continues, Violet gets up off of the seat and stands a little bit behind Detective Zef. She stares in the same suspicious way as before at the receptionist: the way she was talking was just too careful to be normal. Intuition: 28

"Sorry, mate!" Nate called over his shoulder, deliberately slowing his pace slightly as he turned back to look and letting Skipper gain some ground. "I'll be out of your hair soon as I reign in this unruly little nuisance!" Quivering in mock indignity, Skipper let loose a wide spray of sticky silk that inundated the hallway. "Watch out, man!" Nate cried in belated warning to the stranger. Unable to tell the Surskit where to go, he had to rely on Skip's instincts. He heard a door open and shut behind him before he turned back around. "Now where did he get off to?" Nate spotted a telltale line of string on the stairwell entrance that Skipper would've used to open the door, but instead made a beeline for the closest lab, years of practice allowing him to navigate the mess of silk with little hindrance. Shoving the door open, he took a longer look than necessary before moving onto the next door laboratory down the line. "Nope, not in here either... hmm!"Skipper used Sticky Web! Nate's Sole Powered Jungle Boots allow him to ignore the Hazard.

R&D Department, Fifth FloorThe messily handwritten memo ended with an illegible scribble of a signature at the bottom, one that definitely isn't Hemlock's as Sebastian had seen his before. Taking refuge in an unused storage closet, Sebastian began to read the note Styia had gotten him, ignoring the pair of red eyes peeking from behind his corner. Even though it was a bad idea, he considered this note a validation regarding the sense of dread he'd been dealing with since he got up. He couldn't make out the signature, but it clear wasn't Hemlock's, since the handwriting was different than his. "Clearly it must be someone from the RnD that wrote this... but I need someone with better acce-Oh wait!" He muttered, only to have his eyes glint when he got his idea. He quickly ripped off a piece of blank paper, and began to write on it. "Meet me outside, I believe I have something that might interest you Detective." Once he was done, he put his documents in his briefcase and his ripped paper in his pocket. He quietly darted out of the closet once the coast was clear, and proceeded back to the elevator. He coughed into his hand a few times, adjusting his voice back into his 'Leonardo' persona. As he was walking back into the lobby, he quickly looked up to find the other man. He had seen his face once or twice before, so Sebastian knew he could be relied on for this situation. Walking past Zef, he dropped the ripped paper as stealthily as he could, and walked up to the door before turning his head. "Hey, I think you dropped that." He said towards Zef, looking for a moment before stepping outside. Stealth Roll: 13

Zef decided to not bother with the receptionist for now and nodded. He reached down and took the paper. Upon reading it he decided to step outside, push the girl later and see what this person wanted. His Wobbuffet, diligently followed behind him.

Redias Main Entrance 6:30 AM
Just after the detective followed the 'businessman' out of the building, the two of them heard a shout of panic from the west side of the hospital. The source of the yelling, a middle-aged man wearing a button-up, short-sleeve plaid dress shirt, disappeared behind a metal door on the side of the wing that clicked and locked close. Otherwise, the grounds were almost eerily silent.
R&D Department, First Floor 6:35 AM
The first laboratory door had been left slightly ajar, so Nate could see inside to find that it was... surprisingly plain, in terms of research equipment and gear. A freezer here, a centrifuge there, microscopes and unused petri dishes and slides on a countertop. It was most likely just a basic one for interns to conduct their own studies, one of whom were currently in the room, turned away from the door and too busy examining their samples to even notice the intrusion. However, the rest of the doors were locked up, with both a keypad and a physical key lock on the handle which prevented entry. The man from earlier trudged behind Nate through the hallway laced with sticky silk and grumbled, "It's not going to be in any of the labs, the first floor isn't used this early in the morning so everything's locked. You better find that thing fast, and I have half a mind to make you clean all this up too."

As Zef follows that same fancy man she’d seen talking to the receptionist earlier out the hospital, she too feels this is important enough to follow. Clearly something amiss is up: and if it was about Redias, it was of concern to her. This was the very core of Eterna, after all: it's what makes this sanctuary city possible. She resolves to pursue this feeling about Redias to the end, and so would follow the rabbit hole as far as it goes.
Therefore, as Zef walks out, she does too, not even worrying about anything he or the other man might think: this could be very important. And her instincts were hardly ever wrong.

Sebastian took a moment to appreciate the morning air as he stepped outside, closing his eyes briefly. As always, his trusty bodyguard merely sniffed the ground around him before following his lead. He began to walk to a more secluded location, an oak tree that wasn't getting any traffic. Once he saw the detective coming out of the entrance, he gulped and began to slip into his mindset once more. As soon as the man got near, he began to dig around for the handwritten note. "Apologies for the... invitation, but I believe I have something that is a cause for concern." Leonardo spoke, easily slipping into the role once more. Granted, a man like Detective Zef could have the potential to see through his persona, but this was a risk he had to take. Once he found the messy handwritten note, he handed it to the man before adjusting his right glove. "This was in the holder outside Dr. Hemlock's office. Normally I wouldn't have given the note a second look, but the way its written..." He trailed off, showing a look of concern as he glanced back down at Snook. Until he could get his 'work' clothing, he needed to pass as an innocent. Guile Roll: 16

Redias Main Entrance 6:35 AM
Starting out quiet in the distance then quickly getting louder, the wail of an ambulance blared through the air. The vehicle zoomed past the main entrance and towards the ambulance bay at the emergency ward, where its back doors were flung open and a bloodied stretcher carrying a young boy was hurried into the hospital. His screaming and weeping pierced through all of the commotion: "There's too many of you! Go away! I don't know! Stop asking me! Leave me alone!"

While walking out, Violet "accidentally" hears most what the man talking to Zef says. She is however interrupted by the ambulance wailing by. Thinking these two people seemed just as worried as she was, she decides they'll probably be of help to investigate. She tries to get their attention as the ambulance approaches, clearing her throat and gesturing at the unfortunate soul coming out of the ambulance. She moves towards the ambulance, saying evenly but clearly, "...I think we might need to see this." As she approaches, she quickly looks over the young boy to try see the extent to which he's been hurt and how so. Medicine Education: 15

The piercing sound of the siren caused Sebastian to lose his focus for a moment, watching as it blazed passed them. It was then an unknown woman approached them, suggesting that they might as well go see what happened. He didn't think much of it, until he got a look at the boy himself. Even after a brief second, he wished he didn't. He followed the woman to get a closer look, but instead of checking out the injuries of the boy, he was looking for something else. People's reactions, any sort of oddity outside of the wounds. Anything to point to a clue that he could get in a short amount of time. Intuition Roll: 17
