I believe the subject says all there is to know. This is where non-IC stuff is talked about.

I will go with Heatran's Harem, The Cult of the Green Mothers and The Redemptive Reflection. Black Knights seem like I can get anytime if I have the money.

Anyhow. At some point over the next day or two, IC threads will be going up for each individual character to RP with their advisors and flesh out the game world. Once both of you have your sheets finished, and I finish some behind the scenes mechanical stuff, I'll put up the group IC thread and start the game proper.

Do our Pokemon get any inheritance move?

I think I gave you enough flexibility for building you mons without doling out inheritance moves.

Awesome, thanks for choosing Kota! I've just returned from vacation but I'll try to get my crunch completed tonight. Looking forward to butting our characters against each other, Goliathus! For the record, I prefer RPing together over going solo most of the time, but I'm not going to fuss if you prefer the opposite. For future reference, our chosen orders aren't set in stone, right? Like, since Kota is already culturally inclined to repurposing the Regis for constructive uses, he might eventually be persuaded that rehabilitating demons is a worthy cause too?

You can always try and befriend other orders. I will say the University in general mistrusts other orders that try to control the Regi Golems. The initial IC threads will be up momentarily.
I will add that unless something important is happening, you will be able to time skip a bit and RP with each other/NPCs at the same time individual encounters are happening.

I'm very accustomed to fluid time in other RP forums, so that works fine for me.

We can do things together. As much as I am a fan of solo RP, I do like interaction. Plus, Ida is subtle(stupid evil is just...stupid), she isn't going to outright ignore her spouse, especially when said spouse has Regis who can demolish anything. And my RP in the early years are all liquid time so no problem on that. Also, here's my sheet. I will finish it up later but the character part is largely done, aside from the level 5 trainer bonus. Now to figure out what to spend my money on for each Pokemon. Edit: Also, are we using 1.05 Pokedex or Playtest Pokedex? And I re-read the post and see that there are "special training for starter", does that mean tutor is available? And if so, what's the price?

I believe the price for move tutoring and other 'mon improvements was based on the Skill Rank required for the feature you want to make use of? On a side note, do you guys think this looks too technologically advanced for a Dragon/Steel Latios? Or would it work?

The picture works. Check the OP of the union room thread for rules on buying feats for you mons. Also, feel free to post in the IC threads before you have your crunch finished. This initial RP will be roll free.
Edit: Use the 1.05 Dex. If there is something specific you want in Playtest, we can talk.

So did you guys not see the IC threads because I haven't linked to them yet? Or have you just not had time to post yet? In case #1 is the issue, here are the links: IdaKota

Apologies - I actually hand't noticed the IC threads. I bookmarked this thread but didn't see there were new ones. Really wish it was possible to bookmark an entire subforum. I'm about to go to work, but I'll read through the thread at lunch and get a post tomorrow, along with my finalized character sheet.

Alright, I've caught up on both our threads. I love how you gave us more personal connections to some of our advisers! It's a cool and unexpected detail. I love all three of them and Professor Dàshà is awesome. ^_^
I need to sleep now, but I'll post this evening before I go to work.

I am very sorry to hold up the game, especially to weirdsound(really sorry about wasting your time on the advisors). Since I will have no internet access until the end of the month, I will withdraw myself from the game.

It's okay. Shit happens. I've been in that spot before. Let's see if my backup is good to go.
Kiwi, since I didn't mention anything about your wife or her advisors IC, we can continue to RP as if nothing happened.

IIIII'M HERE, BOYOS, AKILEIJA RIDES AGAIN POSSIBLY LITERALLY I DON'T KNOW.
On the topic of sorting out Akileija's advisors...I'm having trouble. She looks up to the Questing Blades and Breath of Winter a lot, but she's definitely savvy enough to realize that those she'd associate with as a wandering heroine are very different than the ones she now NEEDS to associate with if politics aren't going to eat her alive.
Question for you: Would it be unlikely to have a slightly different "sect" of the Blue Daughters centered in Cragspur? Established by a nun who singlehandedly defended a school against a horde of enemies (unspecified, legends vary from demons to orcs to rival countries) with nothing more than an iron candlestick and sheer stubborn refusal to lie down and die, they've grown into a slightly more militant sect than most Daughters. They value standing up for the common folk and defending those who can't defend themselves, and venerate Keldeo (as a noble warrior), Suicune (as an unshakable hunter) and upon occasion Articuno (as a guiding regiment). They will occasionally support the activities of the Breath of Winter, acting as a rear guard and a line of defense as the knights move forward. Small in themselves, but VERY closely affiliated with the other Blue Daughters. Basically, think Provost's Guard from the Tortall books with a little more lawfulness.
...This is not me "powergaming," this is me realizing that while Akileija would oh so very much like to call on the knights or the Questing Blades, she's too smart to do so without some political gain, and she knows that the Daughters Militant are gathering surprising momentum among the populace by being the ones willing to chase down petty pickpockets and robbers if you can't find a guard (while the Breath of Winter are often too highborn and locked away in the guardhouse for that) even if they aren't the ones to call for super-dangerous events. Plus, she's known the local Eldest Daughter since she was still at her mother's breast, of course she's going to call for help from the mother-figure her mother really kinda wasn't.
As for the other guilds, I'm going to go with the Guild of Tutelage (the beleaguered representative of which her mother insisted follow her so she didn't make a COMPLETE ass of herself) and the Caravan of Clear Skies (trading was one of the few things she actually wrapped her head around, mostly because it didn't involve her dressing up in constrictive clothes, and she learned enough to know a kingdom with fresh royalty miiight have need of trade agreements). She sympathizes with the Redemptive Reflection, and likes the Questing Blades, but knows enough about both to know that they might not be the most helpful thing in the world. She's also trying to keep on good terms with the Breath of Winter without officially requesting help.
Oh, and as long as I'm updating things, do you want a characterization of Akileija's siblings? Shouldn't be too hard to bang out something simple, I already had some ideas in mind.

I will say you could do your minor sect if you wish, but it would likely be a self inflicted handicap, as a small local sect would not have access to the same resources the order at large would. OOCly I can assure you at least one advisor will have a useful leadership skill set. ICly it is reasonable to assume that a Knightly order would send you a highborn with useful skills and connections beyond the ability to stab people good.
