With that another bolt of electricty went into Lele and the pokemon fell to the ground. With that Sarah returned Lele quickly, and sighed to herself inwardly, she'd seen this one coming. " sorry Lele." She grabbed her pokeball, and made her next selection sending out Zuzu next. Sarah ordered, " Drop the illusion and use the smoke to strike with Pursuit!" Taking advantage of the puff of smoke from turning back into Zozo, he flew forward through the smoke, and come out from under Ruu, slashing across the metal gears body with a large powerful swing. Pursuit with a big old crit to hit and a 46 of dark type physical damage |

The sudden assault took Ruu down, but Raven was unfazed. "Go, Aki!"The fluffball returned, with an even more adorable gameface on. "Go for a Disarming voice, let's see what it does!"Aki screamed, and the pink hearts flew, hitting Zozo. Aki uses Disarming Voice

With a yell of painful sound hitting into Zozo, he didn't fall and rushed forward using his claws, he dashed towards the pink heart spurting jiggly puff. With a point Sarah ordered, " I know it hurts but work through the pain Zozo! you can finish her off, Fury swipes!" With that her pokemon flew forward and dashed fast and quick striking Aki from multiple sides, slashing the pokemon no less that four times with his claws. Fury Swipes: Crit, damage 59 normal physical |

Aki went down to the brutal assault, and Raven's heart sank. "How..." After a moment of blank staring Raven started chuckling. "Oh, you've done it now. Glad I saved the best for last. Teppo, it's up to you now!"Raven flung her last ball, and out came the little blue monkey. Teppo was in a meditating pose, its eyes closed. "Take that fox down now. Bullet punch."For an instant, nothing happened. Then, Teppo's eyes flashed open, and in a blink it's glowing fist was descending upon Zozo. Brutal Orders

It's glowing fist quickly hit home, and Zozo was knocked into the ground hard, And Sarah smiled. She quickly took note of the bullet punch as the pokemon was knocked into the ground. Sarah smiled, and looked at Raven, " By the same note, I knew you'd save Teppo for last Raven." She took a pokeball out from her side, and tossed straight into the air 4 meters above Teppo, Fufu. Sarah smiled, " Gust from above Fufu." From above Teppo's head, a blast of wind was immediately pushed down upon Teppo's head. from above gust, AC2:4 damage:38 flying special |

Teppo took the blasts of wind, seemingly seriously injured. On the other hand, it's concentration didn't seem to falter. "You think you've got us huh? We can try one more thing. Use your Psychic power!"Teppo closed it's eyes and shot a pulse of telekinetic energy at the flying pokemon. Brutal Orders

From above, the pokemon seemed hardly hurt, as Fufu floated overhead. Sarah smiled, " I know that Teppo's psychic blasts aren't that great raven. I've noticed you prefer to get teppo up close and personal with the bullet punch. Her Psychic attacks aren't anything to be afraid of." With that Sarah said, " Once more Fufu!" With that another blast of concentrated air flew down at the other pokemon, Sarah smiled looking at Raven. " It's just a matter of time you know?", Sarah said. Gust, it hits, but As Owillow said, you're gonna detect it, so I'll skip on the damage. |

Sarah blinked for a moment, flipped her notes back over and said, " ...... I think I've recorded the wrong info here." With that she took her eraser and scratched out the notes changing it while saying, " once more Fufu, Gust!" From above a large blast of wind was generated by Fufu as she launched a massive blast of wind down at Teppo. So I crit, and then did 50 points of damage. |

Raven froze. "I really thought I'd win. I really, really did. Why didn't I?"
Raven recalled Teppo, who had crumpled to the ground from the last attack, her eyes vacantand expression blank. I... need a m-moment. Then, she ran back inside the center, before her friends saw her cry.
Inside, she gave her pokeballs to Nurse Joy and stuck a heal ticket in her face. "Please take good care of them", she said meekly. Then she ran into the bathroom, locked herself in one of the stalls, sat on the seat hugging her legs so no one would know she was there.
Then, more silently than anyone who had met her could believe, the tears came.

Seeing Raven run Off Sarah took a moment. Composed her thoughts, and thought to herself about the match that had just happened. Rather than paying attention to her friend who ran off, Sarah thought to herself about how the fight went. She called Fufu down and said to her, " Good job, we we're lucky that we got raven to have the last line fight of the line up against you." Returning her pokemon into her pokeball she went over to the pokemon center herself slowly mumbling to herself and writing on a piece of paper. She moved up to nurse joy and said to her, handing over a heal ticket, " Please take care of these guys for me. Thanks auntie." With that Sarah walked over to a table and pulled her notebook out, and tore out the pieces of paper for each of her pokemon, and then tore out pieces of paper corresponding to each of Raven's pokemon. She looked over the information in front of her, and released her two remaining pokemon Rara and Koko. Looking at them she smiled and said, " Alright you two, we're going to go over why I didn't choose you two for the battle, and then what we could've done better in the battle okay?" Last heal ticket, and archiving all of those moves i took from raven. |

Fufu puffed up proudly before being returned.
Nurse Joy took both sets of pokeballs and their heal tickets and started running the Pokemon into the machine a little curious why her niece needed a heal after just stepping outside a little bit ago, but saw her working with her Pokemon so she decided to give her peace. Koko's cheeks puffed up when she heard she'd been left out of another battle, but Rara seemed a little relieved moving close to Sarah when she saw there were strangers were around.
In the restroom Raven heard the sink turn on outside her stall.

With a smile Sarah waited for her to get back her pokeballs from her aunt as she started going over the notes with the two of them.
"You see Koko, we need you to get a bit stronger, cause right now you don't have the moves nessary to take on Raven's line up." Sarah explained, "We need you to learn some fighting type moves, if you can you'll get a lot stronger."
Sarah noted Rara's hiding, "Rara, I want you to get a bit more comfertable before you go out. I don't want to force you to do anything you don't want to okay?"

Koko thought about it's limited reptoire of moves and sighed given a slight nod of agreement as Rara nodded vigorously completely agreeing with it's trainer. While at the desk the healing machine let out a ding as Nurse Joy called out "Sara your pokemon are all healed up" she said, having already set aside Raven's for when she came back out.
In the restroom the sink turned off as Raven heard a familiar voice "O-o-oh...I'm sorry, I just wanted to wash my face...would you like me to leave you alone?" Cassy's voice rung with her signature lack of confidence.

"No, I don't think I should take up this whole restroom just because I lost a battle. I was just startled, I didn't hear you come in."
Raven took a deep breath to compose herself, and then stepped out of the stall. "Cassy, right? It's fitting I guess." Raven also decided to wash her face. "Tell me, how do you keep going? You lost to me, and it doesn't seem to faze you much."

Cassy looked a little confused by the question before catching her meaning "O-oh you mean why did I not get really upset about losing? I...I suppose it's because I know I'm going to lose sometimes. F-father said it was a part of life. That we can learn when we fail as well wjem we succeed.Mother disagreed she hated losses" she said her focus shifting to her shoes ", but I th-think father was right. Whenever I lose I look to see if there was ways I could win. So I can do better later." she said looking up smiling slightly.

Going over to the desk, Sarah grabbed the group of her pokemon and released them out at the table. She smiled looking at her pokemon and said, " Alright guys, we almost lost that one. We were a hair's breadth away from a loss. Raven was a strong opponent, so I want you guys to see something. This is ratings on us derived from just our moves." With that she pulled out pieces of paper with each of Raven's pokemon's names, and On each sheet of paper there was a four numbers numbers and a pokemon. Going down the line she lined up sheets with Raven's four pokemon - Teppo PW 3 + DF 1 + TR 0 = Total 4
- Aki PW 1 + DF 1 + TR 2 = Total 4
- Jarpa PW 1 + DF 1 + TR 3= Total 5
- Ruu Pw 1 + DF 3 + TR 1 = Total 5
- Raven:Trainer rating 2
She then placed in front of her own pokemon similar numbers - Zuzu PW 3 + DF 2 + TR 0 = Total 5
- Koko PW 1 + DF 2 + TR 0 = Total 3
- Fufu PW 1 + DF 1 + TR 0 = Total 2
- Lele PW 0 + DF 2 + TR 1 = Total 3
- Rara PW 1 + DF 1 + TR 0 = Total 2
- Zozo PW 2 + DF 1 + TR 0 = Total 3
- Sarah: Trainer rating 1

Zuzu just smiled the figures from the match going over his head just glad they won. Lele looked at his and Ruu's rating sort of not sure if he understood the system, but made a motion believing his and Ruu's rating should be switched. Fufu looked at the list taking more than a bit of an exception that she had the same number as Rara and a lower number than Teppo a pokemon she defeated. Zozo snickered seeing the balloon pokemon's reaction, and was simply satisfied she'd marked some new pokemon for later.

Sarah sighed looking at her pokemon, "You guys did amazing today though."
She put the pieces of paper away and smiled at them, "I mean that guys, we just gotta keep it up. Training hard to pull ahead of them permanently."
She then added, "let's do our best, so that way when we get to the next town, and fight raven in the tournament, we do our best!"
