Celina stays seated, confused and soaking in what the strange man just said. "Wait so this is some kind of Prophecy? And I'm pretty sure I'm nobody's Master, and I wouldn't call you a servant. At least I wouldn't."

Gennidran took a seat and listened with patience, although his patience quickly turned to fascination. Sure the bird man seemed like he had a few screws loose, and certainly this tale must be farfetched, but damn if he couldn't tell a good story and damn if he didn't have passion- two things Gennidran admired greatly.
"I see we have somewhat similar goals; in that case, I look forward to working with you, Geier" he lets out a smile, revealing fangs as he gets up and moves over to Geier, placing a hand on his shoulder. ""So us two so far- anyone else care to join?" he wasn't quite sure why, but Gennidran saw a lot of potential in these people. Either way though, if they couldn't be persuaded to go, he'd be happy to leave and resume his quest with those that would come. Nevertheless, there was still plenty of time to talk.
"As for me- I come from a village whose history is riddled with suffering and abuse at the hands of the dragon gods Dialga and Palkia, and I aim to put an end to their reign, as well as the reign of all the wicked Gods. I have generations of history and have bared witness and been victim to suffering- now that we have the tools to change the world, I will not cast them away"

"Death is the fate of all things," Geier intoned, bowing his head slightly. "Men. Gods. Even the earth itself, at some point. But there will be a lot of suffering before that final death arrives. I envy the generations to come after us, who must discover how to survive and thrive in a world without the touch of the Divine shaping things. Suffering is how one knows you are still alive, after all."
He glanced at the young Shadrum girl, a look of utter incomprehension on his avian face as his head tilted to one side. "Are you a slave as well, then? Of course, we have all been slaves to the False Gods." He shook his head with a dismissive click of his beak.

Celina looked down, saddened, "I was branded, like all humans. I was branded by Darkrai, he saw it fitting to be the controller of one of his rival's followers...

Waiting a moment to listen to their words he quietly sat there. He heard the thoughts of Geier, and the thoughts of Gennidrian.
"Gennidran, Geier. Do understand I hear what your saying." He said with an even tone.
He wanted to make sure this was clear to the people in the group, "Don't make this a picking sides thing, it's not about joining you on a noble quest or fulfilling a prophecy. It's about whether or not it's right for anyone of us to decide to do this. If we're willing to do the things necessary in the future. Willing to hurt people, willing to make hard choices, and importantly willing to kill." He looked particularly at the Celina as he said that.
"This is a quest we will be laying our lives on the line for, I don't want any one of us to not get taken in by the moment." A'Lincoln quietly said.
A'Lincoln made a very important element clear, "I have been wronged by the gods myself. I have experienced things that I doubt any one of you would believe. I want it to be clear that even then, I don't want to do this because I've been wronged by the gods."
He placed his hand on the weapon, "I want to fight the gods because it's what I need to do to remain alive. I want to do this for myself."
"very carefully consider this. Is your desire to quest because you've been wronged by a god and want revenge? Is your quest because someone or something else is urging you to? Or is it because you want to do this to keep yourself alive, to keep the things you hold dear alive?" A'Lincoln asked.

"That is a fair point" Gennidran began; it seemed the nameless man was much wiser than he, "However my own opinion is not a spur of the moment conclusion. Even before I was called here, I had been sent out, willingly, to confront the Gods and slay them. I spent countless months, years even, thinking this through and coming to my decision with the help of my village. The only difference is before now, I didn't stand a chance."
He turns to the rest of the group that has yet to take a side and speaks, "The armored man is wise- you should not take up this fight solely because I or anyone else here persuades you with fleeting emotions or encouraging words- it has to come from a desire inside of yourself. I'm sure you all have a reason to fight- if you don't though, then perhaps you shouldn't come along."
Finally he turns back to A'Lincoln again. "Regardless of your reasons- we share a common goal. You for yourself, me for myself and my people, and Geier for his prophecy. I'd be glad to fight alongside you." and also glad to have someone who seemed more intellectually capable than himself.

"Wise he may be, but I humbly advise you do not allow deliberation to become indecision. Hesitate, and your choices will often be made for you. Do not discount the value of instinct, Masters. Sometimes one must rely on one's gut, as the saying goes! There is no such thing as a 'wrong reason' to do what must be done." Geier clasped his hands, hooked talons snapping nervously against each other; his head remained slightly bowed.

Celina puts Buddy down and stands up, with a look of determination on her face, holding her staff up high. "I may not fight to survive or for revenge or for a prophecy. But I do want freedom. If I have to fight to earn it then so be it. I know it doesn't sound like a good reason to fight, but I'm not going to go back to living under Darkrai's rule. For years I've had nothing but bad dreams, nightmares, terrors that wake me from my sleep. Constant reminders of his control and that Cresselia is gone. I may not be strong or brave but I am full of determination!
Celina puts her staff down as a dim silver aura extends from Celina and connects to Buddy. "Buddy said he's not letting me go alone so count him in. He refuses to let anything happen to me that he could prevent.", Celina says as Buddy gives a nod of approval.

Martel was rather taken aback by all the uniquely passionate perspectives... in fact, she had been quite swept up even by Geier's legend. Everything after that point had been quietly observed, but there was, she felt, too much to consider if she was going to think rationally about things!
How fortunate, then, that the avian one presented such a perfect explanation. She would have had trouble explaining why she was prepared to fight against the Gods, but there was something beyond that serpentine God's influence urging her to take up arms... the 'gut feeling' he had described? Either way, she spoke up to say, "Knowing full well the consequences we will face, I am still prepared to join you all. Whatever may come of it.". After a moment, she added, less confidently, "...And I don't think its because of honeyed words or rousing speeches. I do want to fight, for my own reasons..."

A'Lincoln stated, "We're in agreement it seems."
Sitting in his chair, he leaned forward, "Then the first steps ....."
He trailed off waiting for someone to start with their own plan.

Celina takes a chair, Buddy on her lap. "Get stronger?" Celina asks looking towards the others.

A'Lincoln pointed out, "that'd be an okay first step, Training. but I don't think we can do proper training until we know something first."
"We need to know what each of us can do, and I don't mean standing around and telling each other what we want to do." A'Lincoln said.
He took his weapon into his hands and thrusted it quickly forward stabbing one of the large cooked animals on the table, "I mean showing it."

Nodding along to the others, Martel agrees, "We should see about getting stronger, yes! Even with that serpent-Gods gifts, I doubt we could take on any of the other Gods right now...". Lost in thought for a moment, she considered how most people would have trained, but... Considering It called us, instead of five great soldiers or hunters, that must not work, right? How the, cou-, she thought, before registering what the armored man was suggesting.
While gauging everyone's strengths would probably be an intelligent first step, Martel was hesitant to "show off" around such obviously strong fighters. It would just be ridiculous, like a Pichu trying to impress a Luxray by shocking it... would that God be the hunters who come and capture both of them, then? Anyways, hopefully they'd be satisfied with a verbal explanation! "I think you're right... Mr. Armor, we should try to train before anything major. And I guess we need to know what everyone can do, for that?". Pausing in discomfort, mostly to collect her thoughts, Martel explains, "I can, umm. Well, most people B-branded by Kyurem can give light shocks and stuff, but... I'm, I guess, a little better at it? I, would, rather not show, err, demonstrate, if that's okay...?", finishing uncertainly. She didn't imagine it would be okay, not for a second, but what if it was?
At any rate, she also needed to familiarize herself with the weapon she had picked up... it wouldn't do any good for anyone if she couldn't hit with it, right? While she waited, nervously, for someone to take back the spotlight, she tried aiming the not-so familiar rifle. Away from any of the others, of course!

" It's not okay. If your nervous you can go last, but you have to go otherwise we can't gauge how strong you are." He said, " I'm not that strong offensively. He looked out over the group and stepped out from behind the table. Pointing his lance forward he said, " I recently was granted my abilities, so I don't have good enough control over them yet and can only manage a bit. but...." With a focused thought he released a pink beam of light out from his arm and over the lance forward four meters. As their eyes traced the path of the blast, they looked back at him and on his arm a galliant shield that was huge appeared that didn't happen to be there in the first place. " Not that powerful, on the other hand." He said holding up his shield high, " Feel free to demonstrate your offensive power on me. Short of poisoning me, I can take a lot of damage." Used Disarming voice as a line four and am now readying my shield.

Celina jumps back, surprised by the sudden attack on the food. "I assume you mean a real show, and that you don't mean exclusively on the food. Celina said as she laid the staff on the table before walking up to a nearby pillar. When she arrived she stretched out her hand as the staff flew across the table, to her, and into her hand. "Huh, I didn't think that would work. Let's see how this goes then.", she says as the staff glows and she smacks it into the pillar, as a decent chunk of it is destroyed. "I recently discovered my powers as well. For my other abilities I will need a volunteer Pokemon other than Buddy."Struggle against a non important pillar.

The Serpent slithered back into view, watching the mortals with a primal sense of glee. Somewhat like an Emperor watching gladiators. "Do continue, I love a good scuffle."

With wide eyes A'Lincoln looked over at the giant serpent.
"If you can heal us, we can go more seriously." A'Lincoln pointed out.

"Oh you humans, so funny. You think a god of DEVOURING can heal you. Well some humans whipped their pokemon to make them stronger so tell me fae boy. If I drag my tail across your back would you get tougher? Is all this to show how tough you really are? Or would you rather be eaten by me? I mean it is your choice afterall." The serpent said, if it looked like he had a mouth he'd have the biggest grin on his face.

A'Lincoln said respectfully to the god, lowering his shield. "I'm sorry if that comment came off strangely to you God of devouring. We are not yet aware of the true purview of your abilities."
"I only sought to amuse you, assess the abilities of theirs and not damage the people you've selected." He said, "As well, to be perfectly honest, I want to be sure none of us die before we get to do anything."
