"Excellent idea Celina. If I had hands I would be clapping ecstatically towards you.. Come to think about it." Suddenly an unholy screeching noise would fill the air before a ten foot tall man would be sitting before them at the head of the table, his appearance was muscled and half naked with scars and markings littering his body, a scraggly barbarian beard on his face and long messed up hair, his throne seeming to form up from the ground with a fleshy wet appearance to it, teeth and bone jutting out around it. "Well A'Lincoln.." The man said. "You're a fake, Celina is a child but both of you have the best reason for going out and murdering my.. Well I'd call them brethren.. But that would imply we're related. As to names you can all call me... Deus if you like or Arceus, I like the ring of that one... Now as to the rest of this little pity party we call a group.. Hrm.. Gennidran the dragon fellow, quite attractive I do say myself, is a destiny believer and will jump at the call easily, Geier... I do not need to say a word and you Martel I know you'd like to live somewhere that won't kill you." He stood up, hands behind his back as he stalked about and spoke. "Also one thing.. No one is taking up the call if you all leave.. I called more than you all here and guess what. You're the only ones who did. Call it a cliche in our legends of today children but you are the last hope the world has or it's bye bye to the world and the human race itself, your very existence but a blink... And it's gone. So it's up to you kiddos.. Wanna save the world? Or die with the rest of it?" He said, posing a good question.

A'Lincoln chuckled a bit at being called a fake, he really let out a lengthy chuckle.
"I suppose that's true." he said to the scarred man.
"If you'd been listening to us o'mighty god, we are heeding your call." He said sarcasm almost dripping from the statement, looking at him.
He released sigh, "Not using each other as target practice does seem reasonable though."
Looking up at the snake god he said, "Five hundered years ago, this planet wasn't nearly as bad as it is today, and I'm pretty sure that's thanks to your kin."
He said it plainly, "I'm not here cause I want to save the world, I'm here to save myself. It's the only thing I can really do."

"Then my dear boy you're exactly the right kind of human I want... I would suggest you all take A'Lincoln as an example on this. You need to be in it for yourself or you'll not have a good enough reason to keep going... Now if you want my suggestion.. Go to Shadrum and stalk the dark corners of the labyrinth. There you will find the lord of nightmares.. I suggest you deal with him first if you want your best chance... And do not call them my kin fae boy. I'm not related to any of them." Zygarde chuckled and slowly shifted, a female's cry was heard deep within the temple but was silenced no sooner had the snake disappeared. His words still hanging in the air.

A'Lincoln grabbed some food from the table and said, "I think the best course of action, despite what god of Devouring said is to go scout out the regions. Figure out what we can about taking out all of the gods before we attack one."
"If we go after the lord of nightmares and slay him before gathering information, our actions may be watched." A'Lincoln said to the group.

"I agree, if we learn as much as we can about the gods before taking one down we will be prepared when it comes time to fight. If we act too soon we may fail immediately or draw attention to ourselves. Not to mention, none of us are strong enough to stand against a god, alone or together. As for going after the Lord of nightmares, I wouldn't mind being the first to be freed from their god. I do know the area well enough to act as a guide.
Celina begins to clear the table, using the tablecloth to make a bundle to hold the food. "We'll need this for the journey, I suggest everybody have some before I finish clearing the table."

Putting up her opinion, Martel said, "Whether we take out the Lord of Nightmares or otherwise stake out a target, I... would prefer we proceed soon. Oh, perhaps if we gather intelligence from Shadrum, first?". She figured if they were going to scout, they might as well try to incorporate Deus' advice as they did... And more importantly, it would get them out of this temple. She had been distracted by the food and company, but it was a very, very creepy place.
Speaking of food, she grabbed a few more morsels from the table when Celina offered. While everything else about this mysterious God was... not quite suspect, but alarming, the food he provided was undeniably delicious. And she needed the diversion, if they were going to stay much longer.

Gennidran had been taking in the conversations and listening to what people had to say- but things were starting to get stale. Once Zygarde had gave his two cents though, Gennidran was more than ready to just get going already.
"I agree; we should start moving already. We have dawdled here long enough" he gives a curt nod to Martel and begins walking outside of the building, only looking back once to see if anyone is following or not and continuing to move forward regardless. They could talk more and decide things once they were already moving.

With a simple nod A'Lincoln followed out some food in a napkin for later, He caught up to the other man and said, "Do you know the way to Shadrun?

Gennidran kept walking forward, but slowed his pace to a casual walk rather than a confident stride. "..."
As he walks he cranes his head over his neck to the others, "Anyone know the way to Shadrun? If so, please by all means lead the way"

Celina hastily tied up the tablecloth as she ran after the two large men, sack slung over her shoulder, and Buddy in tow, as she pointed out trying to get their attention. "Ooh ooh, I do! Follow me, I'll get us there, no problem." Celina said walking in a different direction.

A'Lincoln said, "It's for reasons like this it's important for us to know what each other can do."
Looking at Gennidrian he said, "So we can follow a plan and listen to the people who know what their doing."

Gennidran pretends to ignore A'Lincoln and takes his time searching for anything of interest as they move. _larZOAn3d6 3d6

The moment the Serpent made His presence known again, Geier threw himself to the ground once more, murmuring fervent prayers under his breath - words he had, in his weakest moments, feared his God would never hear. And yet, here he was, physically in the presence of the Worm, a possibility he had only dared entertain in the most fantastical of daydreams.
Geier remained prone even after the Serpent left again, only stirring when the others began moving off and discussing their possible plan of action. He eyed the remaining scraps on the table greedily before stuffing a few choice bits of meat and fruit into his robes, then hurried to catch up with the head of the group, talons scrabbling against the stone. "I too am quite familiar with the warrens and alleys of Shadrum, Masters!" he called, waving a bony arm a bit too enthusiastically. "Perhaps it would be wisest to explore our options there first, with two of us able to provide local knowledge. Though obviously I carry Ho-Oh's mark -" He wriggled his clawed, scaly hand demonstratively. "- and dealing with Shadrum's tyrants will provide me no succor from the Phoenix's curse, I have lived under the iron grip of the Death Gods and their sycophants for far more of my lifetime than I spent in Aertrix."
Geier settled into a hobbling pace but nevertheless seemed to keep up with the others with little trouble. "As far as what I can contribute to our efforts aside from playing tour guide to the tunnels? I'm capable with most, ah, small weapons - though of course I'm no true warrior like you, Master!" he added quickly, giving a deep bow of his head towards the armored A'Lincoln. "I'm better off remaining in the shadows. And - you mentioned poison, earlier. My skills in alchemy may be of some use to you." He opened his beak wide in the avian approximation of a grin, a somewhat unsettling effect rather than reassuring as he seemed to intend. "Perhaps you can wager a guess as to how the Gods of Shadrum saw fit to make use of the humble Geier, wise Masters?"
