After traveling across the realm from your respective homes you find an old abandoned temple. The pillars wrecked, the roof littered with holes as the vicious sun beats down upon it. There's food prepared and placed on a large table with five seats, one for each of you. The food is delicious and prepared well, seasoned meat and vegetables piled upon the plates with a fire crackling and flaring up and then you hear a soft voice that sings to you. "Come wayward souls, who wander through the dark. There is a light for the lost and the meek. Sadness and fear are easily forgotten, when you submit to the song of the dark." A large serpentine form slips through the pillars with a sickly glow of green with the void of black. "Welcome travelers, sit and eat by my table. We have much to discuss namely... Your servitude."

When Gennidran first heard the call- he felt something deep inside of him- something that said, This is your destiny.
Standing at a height of 6'2", the red-skinned (or scaled, rather) man had almost an aura of strength and a mein that spoke miles for the trials and tribulations he's been through before he came here, not that any compared to meeting an actual God in the flesh. He wore loosely made armor- somewhat resembling the kind some warriors wore during the Great War, though it was in shambles and disrepair, unlikely to offer much actual protection.
Since he left the village on his mission- he'd spent the last week or so travelling, trying to find what exactly /was/ the first step towards taking down a god- the legendary pokemon Dialga and Palkia. Once he started hearing the voice though- he knew it just /had/ to be a god- whether it was a trap or not was irrelevant- if he sought to make any progress, he knew he'd have to answer.
So that's what lead him to where he is now- in an unknown place with people he's never met and some entity that absolutely screams God. "Servitude? I don't know who you are- or what you are..." he squints his eyes hard, mulling over the situation. As he was now- he doubted him and the unknown people around him were capable of taking whatever this thing was in a fight. "But for some strange reason- I have the feeling if you wanted us dead we already would be. So I'd like to listen to what you have to say- maybe you can tell me why I'm here- or rather, why we're here" he speaks slowly, warily- as he takes a seat at the table, carefully contemplating the situation. He could figure out who the other four were and introduce himself when the chance provided itself later. Was he scared? More than just a bit, but he wasn't about to show it. For now- he would listen.

A'Lincoln sat there in Dullahan. He looked about in the treetop paradise he was in. For him this place was his first home. Years upon years ago.
During his time here the elders hadn't understood the concept of time, so he wasn't able to identify what amount of time had passed but it had been generations ago that his parents lived here.
A'lincoln had considered that maybe that the land here and the peaceful life he was now allowed to enjoy was given to him by Xerneas.
He didn't need or want for anything anymore. The food was plentiful. The pokemon under Dullahan were weak enough he had been able to catch one with little effort one afternoon. He wasn't being made to work. So he only had to sit in this treetop hammock and enjoy life.
Diance had chosen him all those years ago for some reason to be her warrior, and now she was dead.
He had been released from slavery by her. He had been given powers by Xerneas. Yet despite the strength he now held, there was no purpose to it. He had nothing, yet he had everything he ever wanted.
As he sat there and looked beyond the trees, a desire formed in his head. A pull, a compulsion. He had to leave.
Staying here felt wrong. He knew it, which meant he had to go. To leave beyond the treees.
Getting off of the hammock he left without a word.
He walked for miles, before arriving at the temple. Something in him told him that he should be prepared.
With a single thought A'lincoln changed. His lanky 6"0 body with his messy short black hair on top grew larger. Almost as if appearing from no where did metal start sprouting wrapping it's self around him turning into a full bodied suit of knight armor. His face hidden, and a long blue scarf waving in the wind. As he moved inside a large feast sat in front of him. Without a second thought he sat.As the large pokemon appeared in front of him, a feeling crept over him. This thing was to strong.
If this thing wanted it he'd be dead. Had it given him the desire to leave safety? A'lincoln didn't know.
Looking at the snake all he said was, "understood.

Celina happily sits at the table, Buddy on her lap, as she begins to eat the delicious food. Briefly ignoring the large being as the pair eats the first meal they've had in as long as they can remember; for a while it would just be scraps that they found doctored into something edible. The same thought went through both of their heads, "Eat first, talk after!. After a minute or two, Celina's hunger had been sated enough for her to take in what was going on. While Buddy kept eating, Celina spoke. Thank you for the food, it is quite delicious; the best meal we've had in as long as I can remember. But who exactly are you, and why are we here? Surely we're not just gathered for a delicious meal, are we? Celina was enjoying the scenery too much to be cautious, this was their first rest in over a week, and she was going to enjoy it

Martel was very, very wary about going into the creepy old temple... and she wasn't sure if it was better or worse that so many other travelers appeared to have the same destination. She wondered if they had the same compulsion to keep going, but, well... Seeing as they kept going, it was a little redundant to ask, wasn't it?
After her journey, the table filled with food was - against her better judgement - a welcome sight! She was even willing to overlook who made it, or how they had acquired such a delectable selection of items... If it was whoever (or whatever) had called them all here, then she was a little worried to even risk asking. Of course, that was before their Host revealed themselves.
Seeing their Host, even if they were obscured by the darkness and architecture, It really, really didn't look like something to argue with. And so, since it asked them so very nicely to sit... She did, without a question. Taking the nearest morsel from the feast, Martel very adamantly resists asking as she parrots, "Our servitude..."

Enough extravagance to feed Geier for a month was laid out before him, but so overwhelmed by anticipation was the escaped slave that he could hardly be bothered to notice. The avian assassin knew exactly why he had been summoned - whose Voice had compelled him to defy his 'masters' and face reprisal from his brothers and sisters among the Hands, to scratch and scrabble his way out of Shadrum's depths, and stumble through the barren wasteland that remained of much of the surface. Most would consider him possessed by some fugue of madness, but Geier knew. It was the call of the Worm. The clarion of his true Master, beckoning Geier to a destiny he did not yet understand, but desperately wanted to.
Geier's mannerisms were birdlike, unnerving, as he examined the other four who had been called. A disparate group to be sure, each bearing a different Brand. His head titlted, darted back and forth, God-marked eyes rolling wildly as he scanned them. Why had the Great Serpent chosen them? Were they blessed supplicants of the Worm Cult, like he was? Or had they been drawn here for some more obscure reason beyond human comprehension? Geier was eager to find out what role they were meant to serve - almost as eager as he was to learn his own purpose in the Worm's designs.
But the moment a true Voice graced them, Geier froze, overwhelmed by awe at the long-awaited sight of his Master. Every fiber of his being sang as instinct kicked in, and he threw himself prostrate in a shivering mess of greasy feathers and tattered cloth, his voice rising in a hissing wail. "O mighty and terrible Serpent, we are not worthy to stand in Your glorious presence!"

The serpent gave a mighty laugh that shook the very foundation of the temple. "By servitude I mean to the gods who branded you, whom marked you. Who enslaved your race and made you suffer... Your twisted forms and cursed bodies. I know how to rid you of these things children... So.. You're in my world now little ones, not yours and I am your friend on the other side of the fence with your salvation. I do not ask for your devotion but only ask you sit and eat." The Serpent twisted as the fire was revealed once again. A selection of weapons around it. "I ask that you take one and its qualities shall be apparent quickly. They will allow you to sever the ties you have with your captors and render them mortal as your families a few generations before did. They smote the legends and gods and killed them to return things to the hand of nature and render everything natural. When your task is finished, those who made it here, return to me with their souls and I shall craft you new wonders to assist you.. When and only when you have slayed them all I will ask but one thing. Kill me." He said to them before slipping away into the shadows leaving the party to ponder this.

A'lincoln sat there for a moment, and thought about the world. He saw how much worse the world had become since the world, it's only been some time since he entered the world of fey, and he could tell the world was dieing. He also knew that there wasn't anything he could do about it, after all they couldn't kill them. Though that had changed.
He had told them they could fix it by killing them.
A'Lincoln's chest felt a twinge in it, something he hadn't felt in a while. He wasn't sure what that feeling was.
"What are the rest of your thoughts on this?" His voice was deep as he asked this with his body changed. His heavily armored body crossed the room to the fire, and picked up a lance, inspecting it.

Gennidran let out a deep sigh once he disappeared- his heart no longer violently thumping in his chest. He cleared his throat- a hearty, loud sound. "He just drops all this on us and leaves... at least we're not dead" he nods his head in confirmation of his own thought as he gets up, not even bothering to touch the food on the table for the time being.
Rather, he moves towards the newly emerged weapons, placing a hand on a large, finely crafted wooden greatclub, testing it's weight in his hands and giving a large, swooping swing in the air for good measure. "I suppose there's only one thing to do; go kill us a god" he smirks, his eyes sparkling the slightest bit.
Before, this had just been a fool's errand. Now, there was a glimmer of hope. He gives A'lincoln a large pat on the shoulder and turns to the rest of them. "Suppose the time for introductions is now- my name is Gennidran, and I hail from Twisturn. A pleasure to meet you all" he gives them a deep bow and stands back up, eyes full of hope.

Celina had a look of worry and confusion on her face, she loved all Pokemon, Legendaries included, and didn't even like hurting them in self defense. She had never even thought about killing one, let alone multiple Pokemon. She knew that many people despised the gods, but she could never harbor any anger or hatred towards them, not even after being branded and having to serve her former god's rival. For as long as she could remember, Celina had always said a nightly prayer without fail to her fallen god, Cresselia, that one day humans and all Pokemon would be able to live in harmony.
Celina turned back towards the food, trying to eat more but her nerves began to get the better of her and she couldn't eat another bite. Meanwhile Buddy was still filling himself with as much food as he could get into his mouth. His hunger was one of the things Celina liked about him, she enjoyed doctoring up scraps they found for a small edible meal and he enjoyed eating. Celina quickly learned that the quickest way to a Pokemon's heart is through their stomach.
Nervous and unable to eat, Celina stood up and cautiously walked towards the display of weapons. She had never fought before in her life, but she felt something strange as she looked at the weapons. A large wooden staff, seemingly glowing with mystical energy drew Celina towards it. She'd only felt an energy like this when she channeled Pokemon, she didn't think she could feel it with anything else. She took the staff into her hands, and it felt...right to Celina. She begun to wave it around, as one more experienced would fight with it would, and she felt an energy flowing through her. She may have just picked it up, but this staff felt like it was a part of her now. "How strange?", she thought, "First I have that sudden urge for freedom that led me here, a Legendary is telling us he wants us to kill all Legendaries, himself included, to return things to nature, and now this strange sensation with this staff..." All the while she's "training" with this staff silently as she thinks.
Realizing that she's been lost in thought for a minute or two waving a staff around like a crazy person, Celina snaps to attention, standing up straight and blushing slightly as she turns towards the others. "I am Celina, from Shadrum, nice to meet you all." Celina sighs as she relaxes, hearing a loud munching from the table. "Oh and that's Buddy, I'm sure he's happy to meet you all as well. The swinub lets out a sound of approval as he finishes eating, stomach full to bursting, as he lays on the table, content that he has had his fill of the meal.

Martel was somewhat perturbed by the God's methods of persuasion. In particular, why It wanted them to willingly follow It, instead of just demanding their cooperation was... strange? She wasn't sure how sincere the freedom It claimed was, but it just wouldn't do to refuse such a generous offer. Which, she supposed, might mean that they would be trading one form of servitude for a more open one? At least this Overlord was powerful, if the feast and weapons were anything to go by. She didn't know what to think of his "mission", though. Much less his final request...
Wondering what the others It had gathered had to say, Martel answered, "Hello, Gennidran... and Celina... and, umm...? I come from the Lightning Plains, my name is Martel." She wanted to ask (among other things...) where the less-armored towering man's confidence came from, but was worried it could have provoked a demonstration... There'll be time to see his skills soon, that is certain... Wait, soon we'll all need to show our skills?!, Martel realized with a pang of alarm.
After tentatively approaching the pile of weapons, and the crowd surrounding them, Martel picked up a promising-looking weapon. She couldn't imagine trying to skewer, much less bash anything with it, but she was much- well, marginally more familiar with the firearm she had found than any blade. That done, she states, "I think Its request, no... the whole thing feels crazy.". She was careful not to complain, though. On the contrary, they might have been recruited by a mad God, but there was something fundamentally exciting about it.

A'Lincoln took the pat from the man on the shoulder. There was a heavy metal feel that came with touching the armor.
Taking the lance in his hands, tested it's weight. This would be his new weapons so he'd need to pay attention to how it felt. Noticing how filled the area around the weapons became he opted to sit down. Keeping a trained eye on the others he didn't say anything, not even acknowledging the attempt to address him.
He could already tell the large lizard man was more than willing to fight than he. The girl seemed slightly different, less convicted than he. Her pokemon didn't seem to really understand what was going on. The other girl though was clearly not into the idea yet, having said what she did.
His armor rattled loudly as he sat, crossing his arms looking at the the group. His eyes hidden by the face plate. It was clear at the very least he wasn't saying anything yet.

Gennidran gave a firm nod to Celina- stepping back a bit to eye everyone in the room- he seemed much less tense now, though still fairly serious. He had his own companion now inside the ball attached to his belt, which he reached for with his hand, just to confirm the reality that he now had another living being beside him.
He then turned his attention to Martel, "Aye, a God asking us to kill all the Gods- including himself- that just seems incredibly fishy to me. What's to say he doesn't claim control of the other God's domains and enslaves all of humanity himself? Then again... he cranes his neck over his shoulder to see the greatclub slung around his back, "It's better than not doing anything at all- a start at least. I suppose we have no choice but to move forward and decide our next plan of action" he let's his eyes drift over to A'Lincoln, but decides not to directly confront him for the moment.
"As for the question I'm sure we're all thinking- what's next?" Gennidran had a few ideas of his own for what he'd like to do- but he wasn't sure he was ready, or with a group that would be willing to go confront Gods right away. It would be best to take some time getting to know one another and figuring out their best plan of action.
Lastly he focused on Geier, the most peculiar of them all- practically bowing down and worshiping the one who summoned them. "And you; what's your name?" he asked, more wary than demanding.

A'Lincoln called out across the room, in his deep voice, "When Did I agree to doing this task?"
He rose from his seat very delibratly holding a weapon in his hand. Not holding it in a fighting position, just keeping it very deliberately in view.
"The snake god asked us to do this for him. He asked us to do this for him. We aren't going to start talking about this as if we're going to be going ahead with it. Not until everyone has clearly stated they want to do this." He said stepping forward to the other large dragon like man.
He made it clear looking him in the eye, "The question on my mind isn't what's next. It's whether or not everyone here is okay with doing this."
"If you want to work with me, consider us as teammates and worry about our thoughts on the matter first." He said.

Celina yelps as the armored man calls out, trying to hide behind her staff and obviously failing as Buddy notices her and dashes over as fast as he can, standing in front of her in a defensive position.

Gennidran seems taken aback for a moment, before letting out a sigh and giving a short, formal bow. "My apologies- I was hasty in my speech. This is something I've looked forward to for a long time, I got carried away" he turned to the rest of the people around and gave a short apology to each in turn- save Geier since he seemed a little...strange.
"I don't believe I caught your name either, now that I think about it" he asks A'Lincoln, offering an oustretched hand as a sign of peace. "How do you- and everyone else- feel about the task we've been given?"

A'Lincoln took his hand and shook it firmly, "I haven't said it yet."
Releasing his grip he took walked back over to his seat collecting his thoughts carefully, delibrately taking a moment to let the air soak in his intentional dodge of giving his name.
"I'm carefully considering either way. In one respect we need to do this, or we will die. The world will die, and we might get to die of old age before that might be a concern either." He said placing the weapon by his side taking a seat.
"I'm waiting to hear why people think we should do this over not." He said, "I'm waiting for someone to convince me one way or the other."

Celina relaxes a little before sitting on the ground, picking up Buddy and petting him. "Well I think this is pretty strange, I mean a Legendary asking us to kill other Legendaries... To be honest I don't even like hurting Pokemon in self defense, let alone ever even thinking of killing one...I mean giving freedom to all humans and Pokemon does sound noble, surely something Cresselia would approve of, but I don't know if I could bring myself to kill a Pokemon, legendary or not, no matter what they did...

Geier remained outstretched on the floor for long moments after the Serpent's overwhelming presence faded. It wasn't until he was addressed directly that the strange man finally stirred, rising shakily to his taloned feet in an inhumanly sudden shift. His movements were unnaturally jerky, though not uncommon for those so afflicted by Ho-Oh's curse as to be almost entirely avian. Broad-feathered arms unbent from beneath his mismatched robes as he stretched them wide and bowed deeply to the other four. "Masters, I am your humble servant. Any name you wish to call me is acceptable, but if you would deign to call me by my true name, it is Geier." His voice came out as an almost hissing gurgle, most consonants accompanied by the clack of his knifelike beak. Brand-marked eyes grew wide as the strangers named themselves and discussed the task that had been laid upon them by the Serpent.
"Have you not heard the of the Worm's Doom, wise and noble Masters?" he asked as brightly as he could manage, the excitement in his voice carrying a somewhat disturbing edge. "This must be rectified immediately! Please, allow me to enlighten you!" He gestured for those who had remained standing to take a seat. His words took on a reverent tone as he settled in front of the fire. "Many generations ago, after the first God was slain by mortal hands, a Prophet was born among the masses. He dreamt of a lost God, unknown and unknowable - a great Serpent, who wore the night sky upon his skin, whose passage left the land verdant. The Prophet spoke of a time where Mankind would be free of the yoke of false Gods, for this Serpent would some day rise up to devour them all. It was said that even this would not sate Its vast appetite, for Its final act would be to devour Its own tail. The Prophet was mocked and beaten, his God called Worm by the saints and servants of the False Gods. He was executed as all heretics are, burned in Ho-Oh's divine flame. While the Prophet's tale was snuffed out along with his life, to this day the Great Phoenix's hatred of all snakes is infamous.
"And yet, despite the best efforts of man and God alike, no story can remain hidden forever if it is true. The Prophet's words survived, passed down in secret through the generations while we waited for the Worm to arrive and call us all to the Final Feast. This message was passed on to me so that someday - now, here, today - I could share it with you. The Serpent has not come out of nothing to bestow this task upon you. His coming has been heralded for centuries. This gathering is a long-awaited promise, finally fulfilled." Geier quivered with barely contained elation as he fell silent, save for the heavy hissing of his rapid breathing. As the others took in his explanation, Geier's eyes darted to where the weapons had been laid out. Five weapons, only one left unclaimed now - was it intended for him? A small, sleek crossbow remained, with etched filigree in black polished wood, easily concealable from the looks of it. An ideal weapon for someone who preferred killing before their target was even aware of danger. While the others discussed his words, Geier waited for an opportune moment they were all distracted before clandestinely slipping it into his robes.

A'Lincoln looked at the man and asked, "How do you feel about killing your god here? Or is that implied from the eating it's own tail bit that your fine with it?"
He looked at the man and didn't exactly know what to make of his attitude other than he wanted to do it.
