The three young trainers were easily able to find there way to the edge of the city. The pavement of Bashir giving way to a moral rural path a sign stating it was "Gildarie Route A, Grootstasie ->"

Sarah looked at the sign and quickly made notes about the area, and paying carful attention to Raven took notes on her. She said with her head in the notebook as she walked, " It's to grootstasie then after that to Weig we've gotta head Streegof then to Arewa." " If we do, we won't have to back track to hit the gyms to the north." She said. Spending two ap to chronicle Raven and the Route. |

Raven was looking at the map in her P*DA as Sarah explained the planned route. "Seems like as good a route as any. If we headed to Taiwa instead, we'd get to our second gym faster, but I need to get them all anyway, so might as well start north."

Sarah pointed out, "Yeah but we have to go the round about way or we won't be able to see the closed gyms in Vrucada and Kamakif without backtracking."
"and there's no way I'm not checking those out." she said.

"Well it sounds like a good plan," Tamira agreed. I'm going to need to train my team a lot before I face the Ice gym anyways, so this long trip will be perfect for getting them up to a suitable level. Also, why do you want to see the closed gyms? I'm sure they are either abandoned, turned into museums, or a shopping mall."

"Not really. My mom would say it's a waste of time. She's very goal-oriented. She'd be all like, 'don't forget, the plan is to get to the league, and those unofficial gyms don't get you there!' But I'm not my mom, so I don't care. I think as long as you eventually get there and have fun along the way, you're doing something right." When Raven imitates her mom, her step loses it's usual bounce and she gets a mockingly stern expression on her face.

You don't need to beat them all to be a gym leader. I mean, it'll be fun to challenge them and all, and you're sure to get really strong that way, but all of them? You set your goals high, Sarah.

Sarah shook her head and pulled her fingers out on her hands, "The first Gym you have to go through a mine field of traps, before you get to challenge it. Then it is a shooting gallery competition where you compete to hit targets for points. You have to have a water type pokemon who can swim or you can't even participate, because if you beat her in points, you then have to out swim the gym leader in a race. The next gym is you climb a mountain without pokemon, then use one of your pokemon to win in a bobslead race you make with your pokemon down the mountain. The next gym badge is a three on three same type pokemon battle, where you have to match the gym leaders pokemon types, and win best out of three with your pokemon. The last gym is a Double battle. Then then finally do you get the chance to have a normal pokemon battle against the last gym leader."
Sarah took a deep breath after explaining that.
"My teacher was Cissy, the first Gym leader that you face of the group. So many people got really mad at her cause her gym didn't have a "REAL" gym challenge." She said, "I want to open up a gym down there, and put it on the island before Cissy's."
"If anyone calls the challenge I decide to do, which i still need to come up with not a "Real" challenge." She paused for effect, "Then I'll kindly inform them, that I've challenged every gym on the face of the earth."
