"A new friend! Let's introduce ourselves!"
Raven rushes to the ball holding the Igglybuff and lets him out.
"HI! I'm Raven, and this is Teppo! We're gonna be good friends, I just know it. I just need to call you something... I know, I'll call you Aki. It's a good name for you. Kinda cute, but strong too! It's perfect!"

The Igglybuff looked a bit suprised after being let out of the ball, but seemed to adapt quickly listening to Raven's introduction, making a small "Iggly-Igglybuff" whe he heard his new name seeming to accept it.
Teppo held out his hand to Aki, who at first appeared a bit cautious of the pokemon still having the bump on it's head, but soon grabbed the Medities fist with it's nubs shaking it seeming to be fine with it's new team mate.

Faced with such deep existential questions, Raven decides to not really care about the answer and get moving. She recalls her friends and sets about finding one more.

For the slightest moment Raven was shocked. Then her eyes focused again, and lit up with an excitement unlike anything before. This was finally a real test of her skills. "Aki, new plan! Put it to sleep!" Aki puffs up extra big and starts singing. Then he releases a hauntingly beautiful melody. Aki uses sing with Lullaby. Automatic hit. As the hoppip's eyes close, Raven's already in motion, launching another pokeball. Raven throws Great Ball (miss) |

"Now, Defense Curl!" Aki curls up into a ball, in case the hoppip wakes up and attacks again. Aki uses Defense Curl Raven is not letting up. Another ball flies. Raven hits with Great Ball, capture roll 6. |

Raven rushes to Aki's side. "Oh my gosh, are you ok? That seems like it really hurt. We'll have to see what I can do to help you. But first, let's get out of this grass. No pokémon's getting the jump on me." Raven grabs all her balls, including the one that missed, and rushes back to the clearing with the stone. She scrounges her bag for one of her sodas and gives it to Aki. Drain 2 AP to heal injury(no idea how to fluff that) + super soda pop on Aki. Then, she calls out her new Hoppip and Teppo. "Wakey wakey, friend! We're going to have so much fun together!" |

Aki chugged the soda happily his wounds seeming to heal.
Hoppip woke up with a yawn looking up Raven peacefully not seeming to be bothered at all by it's capture,going back to floating calmly.

"Hello! I'm Raven, and these are my friends! You're my friend too, by the way... and I'll call you Jarppa!" Raven smiles so broadly you might think she's trying to win a contest. "Alright, I think we're ready to get started! Let me show you how it's done!" Raven spends an hour training her pokemon, activating Ace Trainer, Brutal Training and Agility Training. She applies Experience training as well, naturally.

After training is done, Raven heads to the back alleys. I know Professor Seedling mentioned the Normal Gym, but I saw this city has a Dark Gym too. I think we're better off there.

The backstreets of Bishar were much different from the front streets, the buildings looking much more dilapidated, as far as Raven could see the Dark Gym wasn't on her map.

Even as Raven keeps up a happy and friendly demeanor her hand instinctively draws close to the pocket where she keeps her pokeballs.
