"Delphi, Prowl, into your gems! Blaze, get your fires stoked!" Even as barks orders to his mon he's hauling tail for the treeline, grabbing Vaidos by the arm as he does so and pulling the warforged along with him to hurry him out of the way. "Get behind trees, make it so they can't charge right at you!" Delphi and Prowl retreat to their gemstones, while Blaze clings to Eli's shoulder, letting out a defiant "Quilllll!" at the herd of Tauros as his fires stoke higher. "This wasn't random, they're being provoked by another pokemon, be on the lookout for more ambushers."
He nods to Cecily once they find cover and the Liebellian asks her question. "I saw it too, not a mon I'm familiar with, but it certainly was trying to go undetected."

The only cover you can find around is that of some trees, and even then there's barely enough to fit you all. That said, you've managed to steer clear of the stampede. The Tauros continue their rampage in very much the same direction as they were before, heading straight into the spot where you once were. It seems, for a moment, that you're out of the way before you realise that the rumbling isn't just from the force of hooves hitting the ground, but the ground itself. A thick wall of thorns erupts from the ground between the Tauros and their position, shaped into a wicked curve which points them into your direction. Thankfully it seems to have also diverted some of the Tauros in the other direction, away from you, and off in the distance you see that same Minotaur and Cyclops coming your way, ready to stop them. However, six Tauros arm still making their way to you. Combat Start, the six Tauros' speed is at 18 and they will be close enough to you for Melee in one round, for the moment, they are simply still charging towards you. Vaidos - This kind of Elemental Magic is definitely not something you've seen from the Hobgoblins.

"Blaze, stagger their formation, target the leader and maybe we can break their grouping!" Blaze hops down, eyes opening wide as he attempts to attack the bull's relatively unprotected mind with conflicting and strange sensations, even as Eli spits a wad of flames out to scorch the lead mon's face and back, the wave of fire rolling over it to smack into the faces of the two that are following closest behind. As soon as the attack leaves his mouth, Eli begins to sway back and forth, his short cloak fluttering and masking the location of his actual body. "T-that doesn't appear to be hobgoblin magic," Vaidos manages unsteadily as a little more than half of the stampede is redirected at them. "S-should we-?" climb the trees he was about to ask, before Eli launches a fireball at the incoming stampede. That answers that question. As the others all prepare for combat, Vaidos fades away from the group, slightly to the side. Literally, he fades away into darkness, which is odd given that it's the middle of the day. Odd as in unnatural, as it becomes so dark around Vaidos and his immediate area that an almost tangible swathe of inky blackness envelops him to the point where only his vague silhouette can be seen within. As the Tauros approach, three points of pink-purple light flash in their direction, targeting one of the herd. The light catches it directly in the eyes, and it feels it's strength and willingness to attack weaken, especially towards the dark-enshrouded figure. Barra darts into the blackness to stand in front of Vaidos, readying himself for the stampede. Vaidos' Initiative: 10 Barra's Initiative: 10 Standard: World of Darkness - You create a zone of Shifting Darkness in a Burst 2 around you, which persists until the end of the encounter. All targets without Darkvision attacking from or into the Shifting Darkness receive a -3 penalty to Accuracy. You may count Shifting Darkness as complete darkness for the purposes of activating your Living Shadow. As a Static effect, you also gain the Darkvision Capability. Shifting away from the party to keep them out of the Darkness Swift: Quick Wit to use Flirt on one of the Tauros Flirt: Make a Charm Check, opposed by the target’s Charm or Focus. If you win, the target is Infatuated with you for one full round. The target automatically fails their Save Check. AC 2: 11 Charm roll: 17Infatuation: Infatuated users take a -5 penalty on all Damage Rolls that do not include their Crush as a target. For determining Damage Rolls that do include their Crush as a target, the Infatuated target’s Attack and Special Attack are halved. The user is cured of Infatuation with a Save Check of 16+ made at end of turn. Barra Shifts in front of Vaidos

Cecily's mandibles clack together in what might be recognizable as a rather foul word in Libellan. She unslings her spear and gestures Praelia and Ebulliens back out of the line of fire. The Croagunk and Poliwag hop back obediently, though Praelia at least looks ready to spring into action if called upon. "Let's go, Draco! Get ready for them - Double Team!" Draco buzzes aggressively, darting to and fro so quickly that it looks more like there's a whole swarm of Yanma around his approximate location. Cecily settles her spear into a defensive stance, so that a blow ought to be caught on the haft and skid off her chitinous armor if it gets through. She watches with some surprise as Vaidos is enveloped in shadow - that sort of magic is unusual among Libellans, and she doesn't think she's ever seen that trick before. Cecily's Initiative: 12 Draco's Initiative: 18 (after Speed Boost)
Draco's Standard: Double Team! (3 activations, to boost either Evasion or Accuracy by +2 for one attack) Draco's Speed Boost boosts his Speed! Cecily's Standard: Defend Order! (+1 Def and SpDef CS)

Tark was afraid of this, but said nothing out loud. The Tauros looked big and strong; they could likely take a few physical hits. But special ones..."Karga, Horuun, return. You've had enough fun." Karga pouted, but Horuun was happy to be safe and sound in Tark's rune instead of fighting a raging herd of Tauros. She touched her third rune and released Na'tok, who took a moment to process the situation. "Into position; wait until they get closer to attack." The Cubchoo nodded and moved closer to the front line of sorts, while Tark knelt down. Her fingers touched the ground, while her other hand touched her unmelting ice trinket, which began to glow as the Mist rose around them. Like before, her allies would feel more protected...But it seems her trinket had improved the protection even further. They'd see for themselves soon enough. Tark's Initiative: 11 Na'Tok's Initiative: 6 (Slow bear is slow)
Na'tok is moving closer to the others and the Tauros, while Tark is using Mist enhanced by her trinket. Allies are able to use a blessing to prevent combat stage loss, and as long as Mist is active everyone gains resistance to Fighting, Rock, Steel, and Fire-typed moves. Figured only Fighting might show up, but oh well.

The Tauros run at you, hooves hammering the ground in a kind of daunting rhythm. they charge and come closer to striking distance with their horns, strangely shining in the sunlight. At least you know the Tauros have been well looked after, until now. The flames cross the first Tauros' face and it let's out a cry in pain, momentarily shutting its eyes but once they open again, they flash almost red with further anger towards Eli, with hairs turned cinders and a gout of smoke billowing from its fur. Then the eyes widen in pain, it lets out another cry and bucks its head back trying to shake off some unseen force upon itself, it hits the ground a little too hard and looks much worse for wear, as the other Tauros overtake it. It still stands though. The Mists rise up and encompass everything and swirl into the darkness that surrounds Vaidos, forming a strange combination that intrigues one of the Tauros and even further so when Vaidos' tactic comes into play, but the others press on. Your preparedness keeps the Tauros from stampeding over you all, and instead they being to throw some blows into your forces. The Tauros that is now after Vaidos realises that Barra is in the way in the darkness and goes to attack him instead, move it out of the way of the target of Infatuation. One of the Tauros caught by the flame brings down its horns to strike at Eli but just falls short. It huffs and stops a foot, as the one he burnt quite badly comes around, but as it attacks, Vaidos' darkness overcomes its eyes and it thrashes wildly with Rage, striking at Eli and knocking him just off of balance so that his counter strike falls just as short as the initial attack. Another Tauros, also slightly singed, instead heads to Draco, using it's entire body to try and Tackle into the Pokemon. As this happens, another Tauros looks at Cecily, attempting to psyche her out with a Tail Whip, but her defense doesn't waver. Horns also come down on Nar'tok, striking into the poor Cubchoo and as the Tauros rises its head again, it attempts to Intimidate Tarkuul with its eyes, but the mists make it a little hard to make it seem threatening. Draco takes 35 Physical Normal Type Damage assuming 9 Hits.
Nar'Tok takes 35 Physical Normal Type Damage. Eli takes 24 " Tauros 6 is definitely infatuated and Barra takes 37 Physical Normal Type Damage.
Initiative - Tauros 1-6 18 Draco 18 Eli 15 Cecily 12 Blaze 11 Tark 11 Barra 10 Vaidos 10 Na'tok 6
Tauros currently Raging seems pretty Weak.

Tarkuul is in her element; the Tauros's attempt at Intimidation was futile at best. In fact, with the damage he just gave her precious bear cub, she was furious. The orc moved, lining herself up with the Tauros(and any behind him) to keep Na'tok out of the firing zone, and let loose a blast of snow at those ahead. Na'tok, while gravely injured, followed suit, covering her dominant paw in ice as hard as steel and socking the far larger beast in the head from above. She could've done more damage if she was able to hit a cheekbone or softer portion of his skull, but she'd take what she can get. Tark used Powder Snow! AC2, 14 to Hit, 23 Ice Special Damage, targeting Tauros 4 and anything up to 2 spaces behind it(Line 4, Tark at least 1 square away).
Na'tok used Ice Punch! AC2, 5 to Hit, 34 Ice Physical Damage, target Tauros 4.

Eli lets out a yell of pain as one of the Tauros throws off his strike, though he manages to keep up his cape's motions, distracting the wild bulls with the fluttering of the cloth. "Blaze, shift your focus, hit that one!" he orders, indicating the one that had tried to gore him and missed. No time to draw his blade, Eli spat another wad of flames at the offending mon, leaving his fellows to put down the weakened mon. Blaze follows suite, his eyes once again opening wide to shine with rainbow light, wracking his opponent with debilitating sensory input. Eli uses a shift action to continue to Flutter. Eli targets Tauros 2 with Flame Burst AC 2: 7 Special Fire Damage: 25
Blaze targets Tauros 2 with Extrasensory AC 2: 17 Special Psychic Damage: 30

Draco buzzes in protest, turning in a circle to try and keep himself airborne. A small bug is not meant to take the full bulk of a Tauros thrown at him like that. Cecily calls out to him, "Try and draw him off! Don't let yourself get flanked!" Draco follows the orders gladly - rather than try to close with the Tauros that struck him, he darts away, spraying silvery dust behind him. Cecily herself decides to take a more... direct approach. The pitiful attempt to throw her guard off just makes her grin... well, as far as Libellans do grin. Her mandibles spread out, displaying a rather fearsome jaw structure as she lashes out at the Tauros in front of her with her spear, scoring the tough hide. "Pick on someone your own size, cow." Draco's Shift: drawing Tauros 3 away Draco's Standard: Silver Wind on Tauros 3; 9 vs AC 2; 43 Special Bug damage At the end of Draco's turn, Speed Boost: +1 CS to Speed, which raises his Speed to 21.
Cecily's Standard: Wounding Strike on Tauros 5; 13 vs AC 2; 30 Normal Physical damage, and target loses a Tick of Hit Points Cecily's Swift: Unnerve on Tauros 5; Tauros 5 cannot gain positive CS or trade in Food Buffs for a full round

Barra stands his ground as the Tauros slams into him, only taking a fraction of the hurt most others would. While Barra engages that one, Vaidos peers through his darkness at the weakened Tauros, his special eyes unaffected by the lack of light. His mechanical jaw hinges open and he directs a series whistles at it, pitching them up and down to confuse the raging bovine, though only managing to disorient it a little. Nevertheless, he raises an arm and fires a small rock of some sort out of his sleeve, which pings off of its horn and lifts into the air. Magical rays reach down to ensnare the bull, and though it thrashes around trying to break free, it still finds itself getting captured and sucked into the small runestone. Barra, meanwhile, keeps the Tauros nearest Vaidos busy, attempting to slash into it. The Tauros rears up briefly, though, and Barra swings through the air where it stood ineffectually. Before the Tauros Barra missed can retaliate Vaidos sends another flash of light from his eyes at it, entirely pink this time, to weaken the beast slightly. Vaidos' Swift: Sweet Kiss on raging Tauros AC 6: 7. Misses, but it still suffers -2 Accuracy for one full Round. Vaidos' Standard: Capture Attempt on weak, Raging Tauros AC 6: 13, result of 90.
Barra's Standard Action: Fury Cutter on nearest Tauros AC 3: 1
Next Round (Priority) Vaidos' Standard: Baby-Doll Eyes on nearest Tauros AC 2: 15 Lowers target's Attack by -1 CS

Draco's gathering up momentum now, his wings whirring as he darts around in front of the Tauros he's leading away. He showers the bull with more of that silvery dust, blown right into the Tauros's face from his tailwind, doing his best to stay ahead of it without just darting out of range. Cecily watches approvingly from the corner of her eye while trying not to take her attention off the Tauros in front of her. Draco's Shift: Staying at 6m ahead of Tauros 3 Draco's Standard: Silver Wind on Tauros 3. 11 vs AC 2; 38 Special Bug damage End of Turn: Speed Boost raises Speed by +1 CS. New Initiative: 24

The Tauros engaged with Eli and Blaze thrashes around even more so after being struck by the flames, thankfully it'd moved just out of range of it's herd to prevent a splash effect. It went to smack into Eli again before being struck by an unseen force, causing it's head to jutt down and focus instead on the Cyndaquil nearby. It let out a cry of pain and anger, attempting to Intimidate Eli in lieu of hitting him and went straight for the little Pokemon, tackling it with it's body and pushing it away. Meanwhile, the one attacking Draco took the Silver Wind in the eyes, and as it watched Draco fly away, it turned to chase after, Raging, but the lure had worked and the second bout of Silver Wind struck the Tauros down, hard. The one engaged with Cecily seemed to also be giving problems, however, as despite her spear leaving a large, bleeding gash it it's side,it goes for her, but just as it did, the Powder Snow fallout from Tarkuul struck smacking it down with this icy spell. It wasn't enough, however, and the horns raised up with it as they struck the Libellan with resistance, but with angry force. Powder Snow had also effected the Tauros striking at team Tarkuul, and the titular member was Tackled after the ice cleared from its face, knocking Tarkuul back. In the darkness, one of the Tauros seems to have vanished from even the shadowed view and Eli notices no commotion from where it was, but the last Tauros presses on, Barra before it not seeming to budge, it strikes the Pokemon with a bout of Rage, it wants to get to Vaidos especially after being struck by a pink light which shone out not only at the Tauros but very briefly revealing the situation at hand before the darkness re-enveloped them. Most of the Tauros seem worse for wear, with the one after Draco down, but the one in the darkness is fighting strong. Tauros 2 - Tackle on Blaze AC2 - 26 Normal Physical - Pushed. Tauros is Enraged. Tauros 4 - Tackle on Tarkuul AC2 - 29 Normal Physical - Pushed. Tauros 5 - Horn Attack on Cecily AC2 - (6 I believe hits?) 41 Normal Physical. Tauros 6 - Rage on Barra AC2 - (7 Hits?) 17 Normal Physical - Tauros is Enraged. Tauros 1 was Caught by Vaidos!

Eli sighs in relief as the Tauros that had rammed into him is sucked into the strange stone that their new companion summoned, and then one of the bulls takes off after Draco and is downed. That relief turns to ice in his guts when Blaze lets out a squeal of pain and indignation as he's tackled bodily away by one of the massive bovines. "Blaze! You okay!" Getting a short trill of agreement from his partner, Eli focuses on assisting the little fire-type, hacking up another lungful of flame and sending it screaming at the Tauros that just attacked his partner. Blaze, the closest threat dealt with, turns his attention on the one attacking Cecily, sending another blast of psychic energy ripping through the air, hopefully to smack into the enemy's flank. Eli continues to use Flutter. Eli uses Flame Burst on Tauros 2. AC 2: 19 Special Fire Damage: 23
Blaze uses Extrasensory on Tauros 5. AC 2: 5 Special Psychic Damage: 25

Cecily lets out a clattering noise of pain as the Tauros's horns hit home, striking sparks off of her armor. In retaliation, she lashes out with one of her free hands, sharp claws slashing at its face. "You call those horns? Mangy excuse for a mammal!" Cecily's taunts aren't exactly the greatest but she's doing it more to vent her feelings than to have any real effect. Meanwhile, with his target down, Draco is darting back toward the melee just as fast as his wings will carry him. Cecily waves an arm at him, directing him toward the Tauros attacking Tarkuul. "Don't mind me, go for that one!" As he closes in, Draco fires another plume of Silver Wind from his wings at the target she aimed him for, hitting home in a blast of glittering dust. Some of it gusts back around Draco, making his carapace glitter as he descends. Cecily's Standard: Fell Stinger on Tauros 5. AC 2: 4; 19 Physical Bug damage. If it faints, Cecily gains +2 CS to Attack.
Draco's Shift: On the way back! Draco's Standard: Silver Wind on Tauros 4. AC 2: 20! (With Brutal Training, crit on 19+ and effect on 18+) Critical hit! 52 Special Bug damage. Draco gains +1 CS in Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed. End of turn: Draco gains +1 CS to Speed. Draco's Initiative is now 30. Speed Evasion is now 6, all movement capabilities +2.

Tarkuul grunts as the beast pushes her back, drawing her sword and blasting more snow at the Tauros, if it hadn't already been taken out by Draco. "Na'tok! Aim for the one in the shadows!" She commands, the little bear pausing, before nodding and waddling over closer. Na'tok opened her mouth and let loose a similar blast of snow as Tarkuul's at the Tauros, hopefully not hitting anything in the way. Now, where did that tree asshole go to? Tarkuul uses Powder Snow on the Tauros attacking her! Unless it's already down; you figure that out, captain. Perception to try and figure out where the Trevenant went off to, or if it's even still around. AC2: 6 Dmg: 23 Ice Special
Na'tok uses Powder Snow on the Tauros Barra is fighting! Good thing it's a Line move. AC2: 13 (16-3 for Darkness)(no Freeze :c) Dmg: 30 Ice Special

Eli and Blaze's attacks on their respective Tauros' seem's to be enough to take them down. The one on Eli takes the firey blow in the mouth as it's about to cry out and it gets shot back and falls to the floor, as the other receives one hell of a headache enough that it didn't have time to react to Cecily's claws which, combined, take the fight out of the Pokemon. It seems like it's horn didn't do it any good at all, true to Cecily's words. Meanwhile, Tarkuul and Na'tok seem to have no issue themselves, after trading blows it seems like their time to shine as the blast of snow crashes into the Tauros' face, blinding it temporarily as the Yanma flies by, delivering a gust of Silver Wind that causes the Tauros' legs to shake and it buckles, it faints. Barra fights against the Tauros left standing and it cries out at the strikes of fury, it goes to attack in response it not for a flurry of snow that strikes its midsection knocking it almost down and out. In retaliation and due to finding nobody else, it stares at the shape of Barra and tackles forward. It hits nothing. It lets out a gust of breath from it's nostrils in rage. ȃșȟNJȍȋȘNJȝȏȏNJȞȒȏNJǾȜȏȠȏȘȋȘȞNJȜȓȑȒȞNJȡȒȏȜȏNJȓȞNJȡȋȝNJȡȒȏȘNJȞȒȏNJȐȓȑȒȞNJȝȞȋȜȞȏȎǖNJȝȞȋȘȎȓȘȑNJȓȘNJȞȒȏNJȚȏȘNJȞȒȏNJǾȋȟȜșȝNJȏȝȍȋȚȏȎNJȐȜșȗǘNJdzȞNJȝȏȏȗȝNJȞșNJȔȟȝȞNJȌȏNJȡȋȞȍȒȓȘȑǖNJȘșȞNJȡȋȖȕȓȘȑNJȋȡȋȣǖNJȌȟȞNJȡȋȓȞȓȘȑǘNJǫȖȗșȝȞǘǘǘNJȔȟȎȑȓȘȑǩé All but Tauros 6 have fainted or been caught, Tauros 6 missed Barra and looks like it's on it's last legs.

Eli pauses in his motion as he sees nearly the entire herd has gone down, or in the one case, been captured. Shrugging to himself, he concentrates on his bracers, a faceted garnet orb of energy forming in one hand, before he attempts to lob it at the shadowed figure of the bull. Unfortunately, it misses. Blaze, seeing the final bit of opposition left, rears up and spits a wad of flames at the Tauros, splashing against its hairy hide even through the concealing darkness. Cecily's mandibles clack together fiercely as she sees the Tauros she slashed at go down - and, looking around, that almost the entire herd is in the same state. Eli's little energy thing seems to have missed its mark in the shifting shadows around Vaidos, but she's sure that last bull is going to go down in short order one way or another. Now where's that Trevenant got to? "Draco, up high! Let's see if we can find that blasted tree!" Cecily stalks away from the action a few paces, scanning the surroundings to try and find the Trevenant that had been lurking around before all this. No doubt it was responsible, especially after that wall of thorns popped up. Draco obediently zooms upward, darting this way and that in the hopes that a bird's-eye view might let him get a fix on the offending Pokémon. Cecily's shift: Move away from the group to go looking for the Trevenant Cecily's Perception: 12
Draco's shift: Going up! Draco's Perception: 11 (Only if this still counts as in-combat) Draco's Speed Boost raises his Speed! Now CS+6, Initiative 33, +3 to movements
