"Hmm. HHHMMM..." Olivier wondered loudly. People all about him were flying in every which way now, throwing open doors and making a big ol' hubbub about it.
But he wasn't quite as interested. After inspecting his grab bag, he made his way to the front entrance of the guild.
It was getting a bit too late to start exploring the town, but he was itching for an answer to a question. Could he still see the stars here?

Helios looks down at the tiny Lunarian girl who was asking for his help. She was a weird one, that's for certain, and seemed kind of a ditz. What had caused her to break out of her little wonderland and actually talk to him?
Well, she looked harmless anyway, and Helios wasn't about to pass up an opportunity to show off.
"Well, it's about time somebody noticed my prowess! Sure, I'll try to teach you some things. Where do you want to start?"

"Well, I'm sure you do a lot of studying, right? I was wondering, how do you manage to not get tired after a long day of hard, magical work? Do they teach you special techniques? Are you just magically talented?" As she speaks she stares up at him with big eyes, pronouncing his words in certain soothing patterns, and a magical gem on a rough necklace around her neck begins to ring in a very soothing tone to him, beginning to make him feel drowsy... Nithia uses hypnosis on an ally! Oh boy... AC 6, spending 1 AP on accuracy. On success the target is put to sleep: 5ifx1wWl1d20+1
Seeing her success, she giggles with glee and sends a quick burst of ghostly flame in his direction, then skips off in the other direction. She felt so much more balanced now! Maybe now all the fairies wouldn't run away from her! Well, now there was only one thing to do! Nithia immediately begins to slowly make her way through the guild hall, overturning every chair and couch she can find, looking for fairies, of course! Anyone coming upon her would most likely discovered her half under a piece of furniture, mumbling to herself. Will-o-wisp on poor Helios for good measure. AC 5: 1d20 Helios is burned on a success. 1d20+1·1d20

Helios is about to respond, but there's something about this little girl's eyes... There just so big and soulful that Helios finds himself drawn in, unable to formulate a single sentence. And what is that sound?
"I ju- I- hu- bluh."
With a thud, Helios topples to the floor sound asleep. Since he's had a long day, there's a good chance he won't be waking up himself tonight...

Bee doesn't have much to deposit, since everyone else is carrying all the items. But she'll pick up her bag anyways. Exploring the guildhall sounds like fun, but there's already like three people tearing around in there. So for a moment she plops back into one of the chairs and pulls out a little journal, copying her map into it. "Wow, this has been some day, huh?" She looks around to see who else is still going in and out of the main room. Bee gains 1 point of Defense, Expert Perception and Adept Pokémon Ed. She also adds her Record of Solemn Forest NE F1 to her Travel Archive.

In the guild hall, inside of Farina's office, we see Farina and Sariah going over the reports for today's mission. "Well, I think today was a good start. They aren't exactly the strongest of groups, but I think I can whip them into proper shape." "Yep yep! They brought back a lot of stuff! They already placed a few things in storage and I'll go bug them for the rest after they look around!" "I think I'll have them explore the caverns to the east soon. But the desert past the forest has a lovely oasis... I wonder if a desert is too much for them right now?" "We're going to receive our first influx of quests tomorrow... so let's just go with flow~!" "I suppose you're right." "'Course I am!" "Hmm, well I think I'll have them attend to separate missions tomorrow. It should be much more efficient that way. For now, let's head to the main hall and let them know where they'll be sleeping." Later that night, Farina and Sariah return to the main hall and sit at the table awaiting everyone's return. In the mean time, the two continue to look over the various paperwork. Farina signs papers and fills out forms as Sariah replaces them the moment they are finished.

Nette was going to go inside again, but then she found Oliver outside just watching the sky. And since she wasn't sure why, that was intriguing! So she merely sat down next to him and watched him for a while, trying to figure out what he was up to. Eventually though she realised that she could simply ask ...
"What are you doing Oliver?"

"Oh!" Olivier said, jumping in surprise. "I didn't see you there, sorry!"
Within a moment, he had his eyes trained back to the sky, staring intently at the vastness before him. "I was just curious if the stars were the same here as they were back home. Daddy always told me that they probably were the same, but you can never tell with him because he doesn't get out of the house much!"
His eyes twinkled a moment, as his mouth took a curious little twist. "But that's why I'm here! Why are you here?"

Falon, who had just returned from his (perhaps record breaking) investigation of the guild hall, plops down on a chair right next to Bee, nodding his head vigorously. "Uh hu, today has been great!"

"I was just enjoying the outdoors a bit more!" Nette replied and nodded, sitting down. "We didn't have that much sky that could be seen trough the trees so I never paid much attention to the stars. Are they the same?"

"They are!" Olivier said excitedly. His hand darted toward the sky and began to frantically wave it about. "You see that little connection there with the really bright star and the not so bright stars? The arc? That's the Teddiursa Minor! And the big ring on there sort of right around it like a ring of stars is the Ursaring Major!"
He giggled quietly like a schoolgirl. Not that he knew what a schoolgirl was. He was homeschooled. But if there were such a thing as a schoolgirl, he thought he probably laughed like one. It was one of those curious thoughts that would come up now again.
"Anyways, we have that at home too. So, I bet if you went on top of the trees to look, you'd find them over your homeforest as well!" The elf-boy added. His face grew curious. "Which, where is your forest? And what brings you so far away from it?"

Eventually, Nithia wanders her way back into the main room. Her eyes rove around for a moment, then she suddenly exclaims, "You!" She turns her gaze to Bee and points an accusatory finger at her. "What did you do?"

Bee has been drawing her map in ever-so-carefully, and making notes of Lance's and her allies' capabilities, though she's going to need more time in battle to get a really solid record of observations. She gives Falon a sideways grin when he flops down next to her.
"Even with almost getting blown up?" She giggles a little. "But yeah, I haven't had this much fun in ages. Did you get a look at what the thing that attacked you looked like?"
She looks up in surprise when Nithia says something. She's not actually sure what she's trying to imply. "Huh? Lots of stuff. Right now I was just writing in my journal though. Why?"

Nithia blinks and tilts her head, quickly walking towards Bee. "Your aura! It's really nice and clear, how did you get it so clear? I always try to use a singing bowl in the morning to help get nasty tones out of my aura, but it's never been as clear as your's! See, my ring really likes you, what's you're secret?" As she says this, she points to her right pointed finger. There's three rings on it, and none of them seem like they're doing much of... Anything, really.

Bee blinks. She's knowledgeable about quite a few things, but auras aren't one of them. Nor, sadly, are magic rings, and Bee's not sure which of them is supposed to be doing anything anyway.
"I'm not sure what you mean. Seeing auras isn't really my thing. I guess I'm just... happy? Does that make your aura clear? 'Cause I am happy. Or maybe it's the ice magic?" She's curious now, and she leans in to look more closely at Nithia's rings as if just looking will tell her anything about what's going on.

Nithia blinks and tilts her head the other direction. "No, not that kind of aura. I think an aura reader would see you as especially clear if you're happy though, but not really my field. Ice magic could though! I always suspected this ring was ice magic oriented. Traitor. She gives a small glare down at finger beforr wiggling the ring off of it. It's a ring with three strands woven together, two of silver and one of gold, the gold dancing between the two silver. She extends it out towards Bee while tilting her head upside down, trying to see what work Bee is doing. "I think the ring likes you, you can have it, what are you doing?"

Falon grins widely at Bee's remark. "Nah, that was fun! Where's the adventure in exploring if you don't almost get killed every now and again?"
However, he simply shrugs at her question. "It was large, and gave of a lot of light, like a mini sun. Couldn't really see anything about it cause of that... maybe Merit did, I dunno." He shrugs again.

"Oh!"[/font] Nette squints at the sky and traces the connections between the shiny dots, increasing the size of the biggest pokemon she had ever seen of the second time today. Excited by the discovery, and Olivers infectious giggle, she clapped her hands and exclaimed. "That is really nifty! I didn't know there were pokemon in the night-sky!"
"I'm not that far from home." she replied to the question. "You can see the forest just outside the city! My grove is a bit further to the south though - but there isn't much interesting things there. Certainly no-one that knows about pokemon-in-the-sky! So I left to look around in the world a little." After a little pause she continues. "Where do you come from? Is it far from here?"

Bee grins and turns her journal upside-down so Nithia can see. "I like to keep a journal. Studying dungeons and Pokémon and stuff is my hobby, but especially mapping. So I'm putting what we saw in here, and copying the map down! See over here, I kept a map all the way from my village up in the mountains!" She turns back a couple of pages to show Nithia the route. "Wish I'd gotten a chance to see what those Phantump could do, though. If I'd gotten a better look at their attacks I could've worked out how to deal with them better. But I was kind of busy shooting back at the time."
It's about at this point she actually registers that Nithia offered her the ring. "... Really? Thanks! Does it do anything besides like ice magic?"
She glances back toward Falon, having gotten distracted with Nithia. "Merit, huh? I'll have to ask him. FOEs are interesting, they're so different from regular Pokémon. It's just so hard to get a good chance to study them, as dangerous as they are. Lucky that giant Sawsbuck we found was asleep."

Nithia tilts her head in thought, putting a finger to her lips. "Hrm... Don't know. I just liked it there for my lines. But I don't need it anymore! Who knows what it might do? Rings and jewelry are particular like that, they're picky and they like to change!" As she's show the journal, Nithia oohs and ahhhs at it, thoroughly interested. "Wow, you're from a long ways away!"
