He shrugged, "Nothing as of now, but she's went and killed a mon, and captured a mask. She's doing the right things at the least"
"and if things go sour, your going to be there to stop her." he said, "I'll work on finding you a team in the mean time, but you think you can make nice with the Ice queen here?"

Marcus sighed. "Alright, I'll play nice. But if you try any funny business I will not hesitate to put you down, you understand that? We play by my rules, you listen to my orders, and everything will be just peachy."

"Oh but the funny business is the best part. Besides, I only follow one rule, and I don't follow orders." Shela responds smiling.

He looked at the two of them and sighed, "I'll leave it to you two to figure out."
He got up and headed towards the door, "Soldier man, you have your orders for tonight. We'll have a place ready for Ice queen tommorow, so help her move to the base then."

"Roger that sir," Marcus said, saluting the captain as he left. As soon as the chief left, Marcus took the chair in front of Shela. "Alright hotshot, we have quite a bit till nightfall when the operation will take place, so lets hear it. What's your one rule? Is it 'I work alone'? 'I only follow those stronger than me'? Cause that type of attitude really won't get you far. In fact, look where it got you now," he said, pointing to the cuffs that were still restraining her.

"This?" Shela says rattling the cuffs lightly, "Is from when I was beating up a teenage mask who hit me one to many times, and me not being able to outrun bullets while carrying two mon, with a slightly sprained leg."
Shela looks straight at him slowly lowering the temperature in the room as her voice takes on a glacial tone, and ice starts to form in the air. "The only rule I follow is that the strong survive."

Marcus noticed the room getting chilly, and he knew that it was happening because of her, but he kept going on anyways. "See, that seems to be correct on paper, but that is the funny thing about the weak. They are great at finding ways to survive, whether that be through teamwork, tools, and devising strategies and plans. So you may be strong, and can take out 1-2 masks, but if 3 or more get together and actually plan things out and work together, well than you're done for. And don't tell me that they are cowards for doing so, they are just doing what's the most logical in order for them to survive."
Marcus leaned back in his chair. "It's too bad you feel this way, though. See, I had a fun activity planned for tonight. Some idiot with a Mon is starting a gang and selling a bunch of drugs, and we found his base of operations. I was going to take my new teammate out and go take them down, but clearly since you don't want to team, you don't want to go and fight, do you?"

"Oh I realize that, perfectly fine. That girl back there in the gardens was very, very prepared for me, I barely beat her and I'll admit to that. But see 2-3 teaming up, that isn't cowardice, I understand that, what is cowardice is when they, hide away while using something else to attack you." Shela responds clearly annoyed with having to admit this.
Shela also leans back, stretching her arms back a bit as well till a pop is heard. "See now that sounds like some fun. But as you can see," Shela roughly gestures down, to her slightly soaked and cut up clothes, as well as MAGNIFICENT HUGE ASS BRUISE that can be seen on the upper right side of her body, a giant cauterized bite mark around her left lower legs, and what seem to be rope burns up and down her legs. "I'm just a little beat up, and my Mon aren't any better. I mean just last night Ariel, was burned half to death, and today she gets hit with a giant glowing ball of light."

Well crap. How did I not notice that before? "Yes, well, that certainly is a problem. But nothing we can't help heal. And while I trust you less than I can throw you, we are going to be a team, so I'd rather you not perpetually be in a state of injury. Let's go get you patched up, and your Mon's too. Hang on a second, I'll be right back"
Marcus got up and head back to the door and opened it. He walked up to the chief and said, "So she is going to be coming with me so I can keep an eye on her, can I have the keys to her handcuffs? I need to take her to a medical center, she's pretty banged up."

"Thank you," he said and then walked back in the room. He approached Shela and removed the handcuffs from her wrist. "We're going to go get your Mon's and then we are going to get you healed up. I'd like for you to be on your best behavior since I am the one officially in charge of you right now, but since I don't know what your actual best behavior is, I am going to kindly request you refrain from harming random civilians. You copy?"

"Fair enough," Marcus said, leading Shela out of the room. Upon arriving next to the police chief he asked, "Can you lead us to where her Mon are being held? And also the rest of her equipment?"

With a nod the police chief brought them to a back room. It was a broom closet, with a do not disturb sign on it.
He took it off, and inside the room was two different dog cages holding both of her pokemon. They were tied up in chains and unable to get out.
With that he nodded to soldier man, and walked away.

When the chief started to walk away Marcus stopped him and said, "Wait wait hang on. Please don't just leave without opening the locks. I would rather not spend the next fifteen minutes of my life breaking apart a perfectly good chain."

He looked back, "Oh yeah. Sorry, just figured you kinda handle that yourself."
He tossed Soldier man two keys, "Sorry about that."

Shela is clearly upset that her Mon had been locked down so tightly, one was still a baby, and the other was so out cold that she couldn't have escaped from a cardboard box. "You know at this moment I'm almost regretting agreeing to not hurt civilians." Shela comments absentmindedly.

Marcus bent down and started to undo the locks on the Mon. "Trust me when I say you won't regret agreeing to not harm civvies, because the moment you do try, you're getting taken down and put back in here. And don't get me started on how they'll treat your Mons, if they don't just outright kill them." Marcus finished unlocking the Mons and picked up the unconscious one and started carrying it over his shoulder, carefully. "Alright, lets go get you treated then."

Leaving the station, there was a text on Marcus's phone.
It was from Commander Vershard.
Visit the doctor on the base, he'll help out the lady and her mon. I've paid for this time, but after this, your gonna need to pay him to go there so the entire exchange goes under the counter.
With that there was a small map of the base pointing out where he needed to go.

"Alright, so the Captain is being generous this time and no medical fees, but next time you get hurt this bad, or me for that matter, it's going to cost a pretty penny."
Upon arriving at the base, Marcus headed towards the doctor's office and carried the injured Pokemon, beckoning for Shela to follow with her other Mon. When he entered the front door, he greeted the receptionist, saying "Hi, I have an appointment. It could be under either the name Marcus or Shela."
