With his move to the Gardel City Navy base. Pvt First class Ashley was given a room on the edge of the base, and a secret entrence and exit had been set up near his barracks. He was nearing the end of his second week in the city. After looking into the area crime rates, the obvious place for him to start patrolling was Jules. The streets of Jules were filled with homeless, or garbage. Areas of Jules, had hookers on every corner. The area he had found himself in at the moment was one such area. Where there seemed to be such people all over the street, trying to attract customers. Tonight was another night in Jules, there had been a few incidents, but not yet anything he had needed to step into. Until, he heard a blood curdling scream of a women, followed by an unusual growl with the crackle of Electricity. It was coming from somewhere down the street, and women seemed to be pointing screaming something about a giant dog stealing one of them. Give me an athletics check to dash down the street in the direction it went. |

Marcus jolted to the sound of the screaming and electricity. Clearly this wasn't a typical everyday robbery. He turned to his Bailey and said, "tonight may be the night, huh? Come on, lets get going," and then motioned for her to follow him. He dashed towards the woman screaming and, upon approaching her, said to her "I'm going to need you to rest easy ma'am. Don't worry, I will get back your friend from the monster, I swear. I just need you to believe in me, you can do that, right? In the meantime don't move to far from this spot," and turned to chase after the source of the giant dog she had been going on about.

Running quickly down the street he saw a a woman being held in the teeth of a Blue dog, with weird yellow armor like pieces on him. The woman in the creatures teeth was skimpy dressed.
She yelled at Marcus, "Please help, It hurts so much."
The dog growled at Marcus, and quickly dashed into a nearby dead end alleyway.

"Dammit, they never make it easy do they," he said, chasing the dog into the alleyway. While running after it, he thought of his plan of attack. He needed to get the woman out of the grasp of the dog before he could use any sort of fire-power, whether it be his gun or his fiery friend. Then it hit him. He would wrestle her free. Literally. He turned to Bailey and said, "I'm going to try to get her free from the creature. As soon as she is safely away, you come in and strike, ok? Not before." Bailey let out her tongue and panted a bit, in order to signify that she understood. With that all taken care of, Marcus went in to grapple the dog.

The hound shook off the soldier as he attempted to wrestle him to the ground. He growled loudly, the woman in his giant maw still screaming in pain. He looked at the soldier and howled with the woman in his teeth. Good old, Howl to raise attack |

As Marcus fell to the ground, he felt disappointed in his last attempt to tackle the dog. He knew he could do better. Standing up, he dusted himself off a bit, and ran right back at the dog.

The dog shook him off once more as he was tackled by the young military man. This time he threw the woman to the side, into a wall where she hit it with a large thud. With it's mouth free it ran up to the tackling man and tried to bite him. using bite |

As he failed to tackle the dog again, he managed to anger it to drop the woman, however in an extremely violent manner. He did not like the way she hit that wall, and he was going to have to take her to the hospital after this was done. Then the dog bit onto him. In reaction, Marcus threw the dog, and then immediately yelled "Bailey, go get 'em." Bailey ran at the dog, covered in flames, before crashing into it. Using vital throw and Flame wheel |

When it was tossed Soldierman, could feel his body seize up as the electricity coursed into his body. As Baily charged into the dog, it charged back surrounded completely in Electricity. It was already breathing hard, and it was clearly growling. It wasn't happy about the soldierman fighting him. On the ground nearby, the woman was unconscious, clearly bleeding. Activating static, and using Wild charge. |

Marcus felt his body tense up a little bit as electricity coursed through him. That wasn't good. He tried to power through it and push the dog back though. Bailey also charged towards the dog to help finish it off. reversal and strength. This doesn't look good for the dog. |

The two of them together, charged the dog into the nearby building's wall. It was crushed into the wall, creating cracks around it.
The blue dog with yellow armor, fell to the ground. Loud crunching sounds of bones came out. Letting the pokemon fall to the ground unconscious.
There was now a crowd at the mouth of the alleyway and they were looking at Soldierman and his Dog. The woman was further down the allyway, and a small green and yellow dog was standing near her, licking her face.

Marcus looked at the dog that fell to the ground. He felt really bad for it, he really didn't mean to hurt it that bad. Clearly it wouldn't be in good shape for a long time. He took his phone out of his pocket and dialed the number that the Navy had given him for situations like this. After ringing for a bit, an operator picked up and said hello. "Hello, it's Marcus. I'm in Jules right now and I happen to have come across a creature, and right now it's looking a little worse for the wear. If you want to come extract it you can do so without any resistance. Also while we are at it we should get some paramedics. Some civilians got harmed by the creature. Thank you."
He hung up the phone and head over to the woman who was thrown to the wall. He kneeled down and checked her pulse. She was alive but bleeding pretty bad and may have had potential head injury, so he tried his best not to move her too much as he bandaged the wounds. After dressing the wounds, he noticed the dog that was licking her face. He picked it up and moved it away from her saying "No, don't do that,"and placed it a little bit away. He then turned to Bailey and said, "Make sure the little runt doesn't do anything funny while I go scatter the crowd, ok? And great job out there tonight," he said, petting her on the head. "Be right back."
As he came outside of the alleyway to greet the crowd he started sweeping his arms in a shooing motion shouting "Nothing to see here, just a power box failure and a raccoon in some garbage. Move along people move along."

The crowd seemed to look at the strange soldier, many of them looked as there seemed to be police sirens quickly following. They looked behind and could easily see that the large pokemon was slammed into the wall.
Many of them looked by cautiously the crowd entirely silent. Presumably because many of them had seen the fight and didn't want to question the scary man. Though in the crowd one person raised their hand, and broke the silence.
"Sir. I'm a doctor, you mind if I go over and look at the lady?" he said, "If you don't mind mister......?"

So clearly his excuse wasn't going to work, as everyone just stared past him at the unconscious lady and the mangled Pokemon on the ground. He sighed, but at least when the Pokemon and the lady were taken care of they would disperse. Then a doctor spoke up and asked to help treat the woman on the ground. "Oh, of course, of course. I tried to treat her a little bit but I don't have that strong of medical training. She has bleeding on her stomach and probably some blunt head trauma, but that's all I know. If you could help keep her stable until the paramedics get here that would be great."

"I'll make sure to." He moved over to the lady, and started getting to work on her.
He pulled out of his bag a small first aid kit and started tending to his wounds.
As Soldierman turned around, the smaller green pokemon was now riding on top of Baily happily staring up at Soldierman. It was a couple of minutes before the people that Soldierman had called showed up.
But when they did, they pushed their way though the crowd of people, and started tapping off the place.
The men who came were people in police officer uniforms but their were two things odd about them for anyone perceptive enough to notice. And one team of paramedics who came in and collected the woman quickly moving her to the ambulance, the doctor leaving with them.
"Pvt First Class Marcus Ashley, correct?" he said, "We've got this handled, you may move on."
He seemed to point his head towards the much larger pokemon, not saying anything about the smaller dog riding Baily.

"Thank you, I'll leave it to you." He turned around and stared at the dog riding on top of Bailey. Seems like they had already made friends. Well, looks like I'm going to need more dog food, I guess. I'm not going to leave this thing out here to die, or kill, for that matter. With that he started walking back to his house on the base. He was not looking forward to house training the new dog he just picked up, that was for sure. Upon arriving at the house, he got down the spare dog bowl, filled it and Bailey's bowl up with food, put out some water, and then went to bed.

Heading to bed, the dogs and him we able to go to bed rather easily.
In the morning, weirdly enough. The apartment wasn't messed up. Both Bailey, and his new dog were both waiting patiently by their bowls for breakfast.

Huh. Well how bout that. The damn thing is house broke. Go figure. Marcus went to refill the water bowl, then put out food for both of the dogs before opening up the fridge and getting out some eggs and bacon. He grabbed the remote and turned the TV on high before turning on the stove and beginning to cook his breakfast.

As he turned on the TV a news report came onto screen, "Newscaster on Channel 9 news at 9, April May your news anchor. We have a new Mask report on an attack in Jules."
Over her shoulder a picture of the creature from last night he fought was on the ground was defeated, "A mask by the name we've been told by the police was 'Soldier Man' fought off and defeated a Mon."
"He defeated it with the help of a fiery dog." she said, "Successfully saving one young woman, and killing the animal. Thank you from Channel 9 news, Soldier Man."

Soldier Man huh? Is that what they are gonna call me? I mean I'm down for calling a spade a spade but man did they hit the nail right on the head. That's too bad to hear the animal didn't make it though. I really didn't mean to hit it that hard. I really need to make sure not to go too overboard next time. Marcus finished the eggs and the bacon, and used the spatula to scrape food onto a plate, before sitting down on the couch to eat and continuing to watch the news.
